  1. Not quite though. I was thinking a bit more specific than that. I'll post the dancing galaxy lead once I'm happy with what I've got. It's kinda hard to recreate and if its so easy then prove it :p

  2. Creating sequences on abl2 is easy though, I usually start with 1 note on every note of the 16 notes. (basically an arpeggio) Go up a 3rd and 5th here and there, enable slide on a few notes, add a 1/8d delay and you've got a goa acid sequence. Yeah abl2 sounds good but not as good as phoscyon. There's something missing aswell as it sounding slightly more "software like" than phoscyon. But I wouldn't say abl2 is unusable it's far from that! But yeah start with enabling every single note of the 16 notes avaliable, from there it's quite easy to alternate the notes aswell silence a note here and there. Don't forget the delay though. The delay is just as important as the sequence cause it is part of it. Rebirth is great stuff but in today's standards it lacks alot of punch and impact and sounds very small and thin.

  3. The bare truth about why record labels do not answer to your emails.

  4. Software has moved on quite a bit since then. Synths like Serum, Massive X or Harmor aren't based on any hardware and can do things no hardware can. Also the quality of analogue emulations has progressed a lot, just compare Pro-53 with U-He Repro or Arturia Minimoog with Monark. The tangible approach of hardware is another story. I can get lost for hours tweaking knobs on my analog synth. Very little of it gets recorded or makes it into actual tracks tho.

  5. Take a look at TAL synths, Tal Juno LX is a Juno 60 emulation, it's different synth than 106 but should be a good starting point. It's got a really squelchy filter. TAL-Bassline-101 is an obvious choice for 101. Tal-Mod doesn't emulate anything specific but it has that early VA/mid-90 vibe all over it, great for supersaw and FM leads. Add some tape and/or console emulation and you are good to go. As far as Diva goes, I have that old sketch that never evolved into a track, all Diva except drums. Sounds wannabe oldschool i think
