la la la . , i do have a few here and there But i am in good company with: Ukiro, Melanocorypha, PKS, inexpressible and all the others that already replied here. in any case the known most expensive releases in the psy world have been almost all listed here, except: Jaia - Brainstorm EP (CD) -> don't have Jaia - Insomnie EP (CD) -> don't have some others that i instead have and that are pretty rare/expensive: Crop Circles - Lunar Civilization EP (Auracle) (CD) http://www.discogs.com/Crop-Circles-Lunar-Civilization/release/344941 Prana - Voyager 2 EP (CD) http://www.discogs.com/Pr%C3%A1n%C3%A1-Voyager-2/release/257141 Pleaidans - Alcyone (Picture EP) http://www.discogs.com/Pleiadians-Alcyone/release/345836 Toi Doi - Psychedelic Home (CDr) http://www.discogs.com/To%C3%AF-Do%C3%AF-Psychedelic-Home/release/364358 Are You Shpongled (Transparent LP) http://www.discogs.com/Shpongle-Are-You-Shpongled/release/1120451 Hunab Ku CD http://www.discogs.com/Hunab-Ku-Magik-Universe/release/344962 Then not strictly related but this is fun: http://www.discogs.com/lists/byuser/discogs

No these weren't and mind that even wit registered mail if a pack goes lost the post office refunds you a multiplier of the price of the shipping. For instance in Italy if i ship a pack registered and costs 12 eur, they will refund me 12x3 times so 36 eur, but if the pack contains a cd worth more than that it is your loss. You would have to do insured up to the value of the discs but than that would be expensive too. Long story short I avoided buying from australia for this reason but i suppose i was just unlucky. Also if i were to use always registered shipping it would be very expensive to receive records. I normally pay for registered shipping only from dangerous countries such as russia or greece.

What will happen to your collection after you're done with it?
draeke replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
that's a tricky one. sometimes i feel a collection keeps you chained because you have invested a lot of money into it, and even if the media are solid (vinyl and original CD should last quite long) i wonder if one shouldn't sell the old CD because it may be too late at some point and they have a big value. I suppose us great collectors have a hard time with this kind of thoughts. Maybe some of us can still live happily not thinking of the money invested but i know that i could do smth important if i were to sell ALL my records (opening my own business for instance...). That though, could take a long time considering the amount i gathered and would be difficult to do since nobody would buy it all at once. Ideally, in the future, it would be cool to setup some sort of museum of goa trance and have all the important releases on exhibit there for future generations to see and to be preserved. But that's maybe a bit of a stupid thought. Some of the artwork produced for this kind of music is really mind-blowing and could be appreciated by wider audiences than just the music listeners. Surely it would be important to have a database with all the music produced for preservation and if all the collectors could gather this could be realized. But there are a lot of copyright issues in the middle to do smth like this. If I suddenly die my collection will go to my brother and then he will decide what to do as I trust him completely with music. -
Nobody mentioned toi doi! great french act. I believe that it is impossible to choose, they were all amazing in their own ways. If I really had to choose one, it would probably be Jaia for the awesome melodies.

I for one LOVE the artwork, it is so 90s tat kind of writing for the name, it reminds me of Xara3D and such programs i used back then to make writings. Also it has a plastic feeling to it, I don't know i like it. Looking forward the release and obviously ordered!

I had quite some packs that never arrived so I suppose that during the years the postal systems stole me something like 10 to 15 releases. I once made a list of never arrived records but i think i have lost that one too... would have to search for it on the hard disk. One that hurt particularly was an order from psy harmonics, that pack never arrived and it contained 2 rare discs: http://www.discogs.com/Androcell-Emotivision/release/342962 and http://www.discogs.com/Various-Clairaudience/release/89464 i had to buy them both again, and i never got refunded for this order, which was not a good story. I also have to say i bought androcell mint for a good price in this order and when i had to buy it again was for 35 eur and arrived a cd in horrible conditions. so all in all a very bad experience. And i never bought anything anymore from australia.

I believe some of us appreciated the view of the beautiful bulgarian mountains and of the perfectly constructed and handsomly shining roads, I wish I had those roads to drive on everyday, and please show us more steep mountains!

@DJEuforiske being in europe/london in the 90s and ordering CDs from psychedelic stores helped a lot. Many I have got from RecordStore, ChaosUnlimited, DolphinDiscs, etc.. but I could also buy a few on ebay 10 years ago, some people were selling them. In camden town you could find some for free at the psychedelic dream temple and at other stalls (even at cyberdog). But the rarest of them I have got directly from the labels in london as I asked for CDs and stickers to buy.... fun crazy times. I have also some posters but some have been ruined unfortunately
-
@Radi do you speak German? it certainly looks like so from your computer screenshots. Certainly we all love shiny roads. In the first photo the mountains aren't too high, are there higher peaks in bulgaria? You should enjoy this:

And let's start first 4 things I have here with me: Tibetan hoodie (1999, Camden Town, London) Sure Ohm (2012, Madrid) Threyda Appearel (2012, USA) DAT (test pressing, 2012, india) That's all I have here in Spain, more when I am back in italy
-
Technosomy, it was Moti who sold and shipped me the Symbiosis tshirts from india, and I thought he had some for hIimself too. Or maybe he did and then he lost them, I don't know how the rest of the story went but either way, that's how it went. @K-Ban, yes was Shuki selling original psywear, maybe he still has it! Also let's not forget Etnica T-Shirts: https://www.trackitdown.net/merchandise/brand/353/etnicanet.html http://etnica.bandcamp.com/merch although my fav design has been sold out i think:
-
Does he? I remember he asked me many years later if I wanted to sell but if he was the one who got me them in the first place.. i was a bit confused. Yes I have symbiosis, transient, space tribe, etc.. i'd have to make a full reportage I have been asked numerous times to sell one of my space tribe tshirt as it has a rare fluoro design but since it is the one i love most i won't for now.. The ones I never had are TIP, Dragonfly and Flying Rhino. There was Kagdila selling some of the old ones but for insane prices so I never went for them. If I find the photo he sent me I will post them as well, some RAD designs! In the meantime who wants a TIP shirt can go here (some advertising): https://www.trackitdown.net/merchandise/brand/255/tip-records.html These are the only official shirt from TIP, at least they continued to make them

@psydmt that remix is unknown to me or the rest but nice info, so we know another unreleased exists. was it good? did you recognize it easily? I am not familiar at all with this track from logic bomb... as I see it was only released on 2 compilations

I found this to be a good read about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piracetam not sure I'd try it but seems indeed like a brain enhancer of some sort, except that they refers to test on mices more than humans, but let us know if you feel it makes you working more. The movie was very interesting but of course exaggerated on every part

Indoor - Bom Shankar is a track from the 90s, and early ages... They did release it for the first time now but the melody was also used in California Sunshine - The Sound Of Goa (2010) because Miko also took part in the composition of this tune back then (on DAT the track circulated as Avi + Miko - Bom Shankar). I was very happy they finally released it! Regarding BPC, darkill, you should listen to the original mix, it is lacking the "classical music" part, as you will discover, so it is different from the original and a nice interesting discovery, I have never heard of this mix before and I am happy they released it! Thanks to the label for reviving the memories and bringing us more goa trance, a solid VA that I recommend everyone to have.

Procyon, you have been surprised but what really surprising there is? I don't see Brazil as the most dangerous country to want to move to. Of course I know being there as a foreigner may be difficult and also that going as a tourist is something and living another but why not? I am willing to try, and at the moment there is a lot of ferment, the economy is rising and there seem to be real need of teachers. The idea would be to continue work into the teaching field and see if I could somehow open a small academy in Rio Grande do Norte state, in Natal. That is where I have a cousin living that owns 2 houses and where I could have some help as he knows a lot of locals (has been living there for 25 years now). Apart that I have been already 2 times, each time for 2 weeks and I didn't find it particularly dangerous, not more than Montevideo where I lived before for 6 months. Mind that mine is just a project and nothing has been yet defined, but I am working on it. Europe is still into crisis and as you may know here is not very easy to open your own business, I can tell you. I have been enjoying moving around and I think people should do it when they don't feel they are doing the best they can where they are, that's all . And as mentioned before I am working as a teacher in Madrid at the moment.

The harsh reality... Why Psytrance has become shit
draeke replied to Anoebis's topic in General Psytrance
Rotwang posted the perfect example of the 10 rules applied into a track Well done! -
Track at 1:22:00 doesn't sound familiar at all, but i suspect Kunal can answer to the topic if he wants, and I haven't heard this mix before. I honestly don't know the tracklist

I do have many stickers from old labels, some of which i am sure you'd be very happy to see! I have all the above except the x-dream one, and have also a wall with many attached but the true oldschool from labels i never dared using . I think I should reproduce some of those ... ssssh!
