  1. @Sideffect: for me the masterpiece of Virtuart is his Virtuart & Friends album (yet very limted and hard to find) plus single tracks appeared here and there including collaborations and his alias, the album Drekhar was not his best release (for me at least) but have a look on discogs and listen to tracks on compilations, some are really blasting! Speaking about the Crop Circles EP the mastering of the first one has been done and I have been giving my final notes to Tim to finalize the sound, so we are proceeding, all is going smoothly!
  2. Hello Joske, yes at DAT we are thinking of making a Virtuart album as well at some point, but that's just being discussed, not yet signed, did you have any plans with that on Suntrip? Cheers!
  3. Well at least theyare "raving" with some trance beats in the background. He is mixing the trance sound with the traditional themes and I think we should accept and respect. I found it pretty different and interesting to see
  4. I have been loving the Virtuart sound since 1998, I have the elusive Virtuart and Friends and that is something that I should re-release sometimes, not to mention there is also V&F 2 and other unreleaseds. The EP is very good, but soon a topic of that too . Virtuart is not the most famous artist around but he surely did some great tunes!
  5. hopefully you will like that but back to topic, I am doing my best to speed up the things with the singles, mastering is being completed as we speak, more news soon!
  6. DATEP 002 will be from Virtuart , you were all wrong
  7. it is strange indeed, there is a bit of lack of punch in the kick, like it is quite soft. But I like the swirling sounds around. Work on it, I am sure you can get a decent soumi track out of it.
  8. DATEP 002 will be released later, still secret, music from France. But let's not change subject here
  9. OK, many more details have been decided, the release will be housed on cardboard sleeve, like the original release of 1997, the artwork will be gently altered as to resemble the original, I made a sample mock up here just so to give an idea: The tracklist of the the singles will be as this: Crop Circles - Full Mental Jackpot EP - DATEP001 01 Full Mental Jackpot 02 Different Species 03 Full Mental Jackpot (Etnica Remix I) 04 Untitled Crop Circles - Lunar Civilization EP - DATEP003 01 Lunar Civilization 02 Antonomasia 03 Full Mental Jackpot (Pleiadians Remix) 04 Ghost Circles Mastering by: Tim Schuldt The Untitled track comes from a 1997 DAT Tape of Lotus Omega, it was mixed into a liveset and extracted for this release, it has the feeling of the tracks of the album and it is a nice addition to the collection. Distribution will be via Arabesque and via DAT Website. 500 copies will be pressed of each of the single on standard silver CD, pressed in the UK. Cardboard was chosen to save on shipping and to use less plastic! Cheeeeeers!
  10. Ah Elias yeah I forgot about that, but I suppose now we mentioned all, more or less There are of course the Japanese releases that have nice graphics and or cool design but not special digipacks. The only exception I can think of is: TIP Clear http://www.discogs.com/Various-MU-Clear-Compilation/master/37218 and Heavy Mental Music that also has a special package and quite neat (this one not from japan) http://www.discogs.com/Various-Heavy-Mental-Music-Vol-1/release/72860
  11. @Inada, there are some good tracks for sure but as far as releasing goes, I see it as hardly ever happening. @Joseph some details will be released later Regarding the mystery tracks, no announcement yet, but for sure not Killer Joke, that is a Lotus Omega track that you mentioned Oopie.
  12. Well you have a lot of Digipack releases from the 90s from Nova Tekk and all the related labels and then you have this "metallic" case : http://www.discogs.com/Various-Telecom-331-ltExtension-10gt/release/52302 some fluo cd cases: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Distance-To-Goa-4/release/51946 This one also has some holograms http://www.discogs.com/Various-Progressive-Trance-Tracks/release/217834 this one has something that you move the case and the shell changes http://www.discogs.com/Various-3D/master/14251 this one has an hologram too http://www.discogs.com/Various-Cosmic-Conspiracy/release/99023 this one had a green fluo case http://www.discogs.com/MFG-The-Prophecy/release/166085 this originally came in a red/orange flue case as well http://www.discogs.com/Various-Electronic-Planet-Vol-3-East-Edge-Sampler/release/2181492 this one has a very big booklet as well and more recently the Ubar Tmar package: http://www.discogs.com/Ubar-Tmar-Ubarpedia/release/3718780 not that any of these release is affordable or easy to be found but well that's the list of special packages that I can think of.
  13. @Joseph, yes there will be the original intact feeling, 2 singles, original artwork, fresh mastering, bonus tracks.
  14. @Everybody: Yes all the rare tracks that were available on that ridiculously overpriced CD Single and more, 3 unreleased old tracks never heard before and everything that has been released on compilations etc. The source files are the original DAT Masters so you will get a fresh mastering from zero and I will personally check that there would be no compression, distortion, clipping, loudness, etc and all the things that usually you lament in modern mastering. It will sound crystal clear and with gentle mastering as it is supposed to be. 8 tracks have been licensed, 4 per each single. The original artist who made the artwork in 97 was found too and he still has the original Photoshop files so it will be a real jewel this one . Ciaoooooo!
  15. Dear All, it is with extreme pleasure that I announce that I signed the deal! I will re-release the singles of Crop Circles! Lunar Civilization and Full Mental Jackpot will appear on CD Single this year on DAT Records... The time is right and the energy will continue to flow with the music of our Heroes of Psychedelic Trance. The full tracklist of the singles is being decided right now, but be sure that there will be some surprises and some unreleased tracks never heard before But the deal has been reached and that is what matters. Once again a big Thanks to Max and Mauri of Etnica and to Lotus Omega for allowing me to release them. Draeke
  16. Thanks, it has been so many years I don't listen to these tracks.. cheers!
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jybiOSzj_jo&list=PL7AXnwm2xEyRDtartqopYQcMuTiNOzjBe&index=73 I really cannot remember if this is one of the "oh so many" tracks released by IM back then, so if anyone is still listening to their "early bits" maybe knows this one.. on tape was called "in dreams" but maybe is just mis-titled.
  18. draeke

    modern psy

Arkanoydz - Nanto System i have been told
  19. Well I suppose Elias is entitled to his opinion, while I tend to agree not "all" the ultimae releases are pure gold I listened to this one and I liked it and for everybody, it has been repressed and available now
  20. draeke

    modern psy

anybody know? It doesn't seem to be a new etnica track (or if it is i don't know it) has a sample saying "system" and then "destroy" at some point. A friend asked for help but I have no idea about modern stuff.. cheers!
  21. Once in a while I like to ask for advice to people in then known of the progressive trance world. So far I listened to a lot of progressive trance 2010-2011 and I didn't listen to anything released in 2012.. So what do you think, what did I miss that was released last year? I like stuff sounding like Nerso, E-Clip, Ace Ventura, Sideform, Zyce, Ovnimoon, Middle Mode, Xshade, Jaia, Vibrasphere... so very melodic and well produced.
