  1. C'mon guys, do you still expect a return to the roots by the band? Enjoy the past and accept the fact IM are now producing music for the masses, they need to tour in big venues, have commercial music and pay the bills of their expensive house in LA. I admire the fact they came from the underground tracking scene and could make it to Hollywood, you gotta give them credit for this. Few acts went from rags to riches out of this scene. I think some tracks are acceptable and the review above just sums everything up perfectly. Some melodies are good, there is dub-step there is modern state of the art production (well they can afford it) and then there is a vague reminiscence of some little psychedelic sonority here and there but that's all, this ain't psytrance, it is commercial dubstep/vocal/pop/electro/whatever you want to name it, but some may like it a lot. Especially if they have no clue about what psytrance is . Now I wonder, what would they do if I asked them to release some lost unreleased track of theirs on DAT ahahah I guess that won't happen though, too bad.
  2. Yeah I have heard it in digital and is very well appealing but that's because, I think, it has a different sound. It is progressive and melodic and intriguing, definitely something I would like to dance to in a club, but yeah it's ridiculous someone is selling it at 50 eur. They will probably repress it though, let's see
  3. http://www.apoxina-records.com/contacts.php try asking to the source?
  4. Of the 200 tracks uploaded so far 97 have been identified as released and sub sequentially removed from the channel to make clarity. Whatever gets confirmed of being unreleased, stays on the channel for future identification purposes and for you to listen to. Still, a lot of mystery tracks and any help would be appreciated. Tracks have been now gathered in a playlist for easy listening so feel free to check every now and then cause I am adding material once in a while. I realized adding tracks everyday is time consuming for everybody (me creating the videos and you listening) so I slowed down a bit to give time to people to listen and help. Hopefully some of these tracks will see the light of the day!
  5. I am on the same boat, that's crazy, sold out in less than a year, woah!
  6. the first one: Tristan - Astral Bodies ? it says so in the video itself.. but not released yet as far as i can see!
  7. Well the TOI DOI album, that i bought in 2000 or 2001 when was released, it isa bunch of unreleased tracks in 128 kbps burned on a cdr by mp3.com. I think that some of these tracks deserves to be properly released but at the same time i think this release is a bit hard to get, it was just for "who knew" back then as it wasn't advertised anywhere but since i was literally scanning mp3.com for anything related to goa back then i did buy it. I think it is somehow OK but not exceptional. Radio Ouate at the time of release I listened to the previews and didn't find it too interesting so i skipped, it was a mixture of drum n bass and other experiments if I remember right. The idea would be to re-release the best tracks of psychedelic home, that could be nice.
  8. All the tracks are new, as far as i know! Good stuff, check it out!
  9. http://vibedeck.com/www-itracks-biz-trance/sound-addiction-part-i--2 The 2 albums have been published online and are for purchase on iTracks.biz , let's show some love and support and get them shall we? There is also a Martin Cooper new full album: http://vibedeck.com/www-itracks-biz-trance/martin-cooper
  10. Thank you sincerely for all the awesome words you said in this review section, it makes me very happy and proud of my work. Keep on dreaming folks, as much as I try to do! Mental Puzzle was a track I have been dreaming on finding first of all and then when I finally did, I couldn't think of anything more important that finding a way to release it. I love every second of the CD and was really hard to make it a solid release but sales and comments proved me right. Grazie Mille a tutti!!
  11. Prepare for a great trip into memory lane, interview should be public soon, I had the good luck of reading it before and was very interesting I must say!
  12. Greg is a great DJ, congrats on scoring him, and his taste is excellent, best of luck!
  13. Holy fuck the guy has almost 15k subscribers and 10 millions views! I bet not even Shpongle has that, well maybe he does but still, woah...nice finding radi!
  14. Hello, while checking some lost tracks around my hard drive, I found this nice promo album that I probably got back years ago, from a group called Archaic Revival. It was on mp3 and the tagging in the files says: Archaic Revival - Medicine Bag (CD-R Release) - 2004 - Psychadelic The files are all properly tagged and are indeed from 2004. The music is sweet and somehow oldschool goa. One of the track was called Olympus (Remix for Daemonia Nymphe). The mentioned group is Greek and exists, so maybe this project was also from Greece? Some of the tracks, although post 2k are really good, would be interesting to know who they were. Google gives no answer if you type the band or the "album" or anything and I checked and a track Olympus doesn't exist on discogs on that band page. I would think of contacting the band eventually but who knows, psynews can be a start. They deserved some attention.
  15. Thanks Cosmogenesis, highly appreciated
  16. You have this ep in your hand, just white label http://www.discogs.com/Spectral-Kundalini-Moonstone/release/25763 Also makes sense that someone wrote on it Morning Time, it was prolly to remember when to play those tunes! One little piece of advice, whenever you find a white label, check the etching, the small writings in the center of the EP itself, many times you will see a catalogue number there and searching it on discogs you may identify what you have on your hands. It is really easy. Sometimes many items have the same cat number but then you search for the style and there you go. This one has : BR004, look for it on the ep itself Welcome to the club of vinyl lovers!
  17. Japaneses are always ahead, maybe smth from jikooha would serve you good, they are always doing very modern tracks with a retro touch. Also comes to mind stuff from UNI (japanese band) and of course Ubar Tmar. Check these out and hopefully you can find something similar that you like.
  18. All are welcome to comment below the videos, as soon as smth is identified I write it under the videos if it is not commented by who identified the track. It is having a lot of success this project, a lot of tracks were identified, thanks so much!
  19. Hello Everyone, most of you know my love for DAT tapes and unreleased oldschool goa trance, but there is something that bothers me, and that is unknown unnamed tracks and obscure untraceable artists. I long time ago joined Pavlos in the venture of organizing and categorizing the unreleased tracks on discogs to have a guide, a reference and know who made what and what was never released. But during my DAT ripping ventures I have found obscure project names, no name tracks, fake names etc and therefore I decided to give the good old youtube a go. Why not post the first 4 minutes of all my unknowns? There is a chance someone knows them and can help me out. So I have started uploading the first 23 tracks I had around, here they are, more coming soon! http://www.youtube.com/user/draeke604/videos?view=0 Any help, comment, idea, is welcome. Feel free to comment below the videos on youtube. Draeke PS: the goal, beside categorizing and classification, is to help me compile the compilation I want to release on DAT soon enough, I want to use some of these no names and I wouldn't like to have to release them as "name it yourself" tracks on the sleeve
