1. Pleiadians-Starseed - 142 Bpm 07:04 2. Pleiadians-Electra 2012. 140 Bpm 07:22 3.Pleiadians-Asterope-Etnica rmx - 140 Bpm 08:35 The Pleiadians need no introduction, but for anyone who is new around here let's just say they redefined the psychedelic trance sound in the year '96 with the creation of some of the still most praised mind-blowing sci-fi oriented tracks. During the years their sound evolved as the technologies developed and the production standards raised and today they are presenting their newest opus, the Starseed EP. The title track, Starseed, is deep and intense, it teleports you out there and sounds just about perfect, the way proper goa trance year 2012 should sound, psychedelic and modern at the same time. There are loads of reminiscences to the oldschool tracks and this is something that fans wanted for a long time. Finally a track that would work well on any dance-floor, be it oriented to the past of looking towards the future. Electra 2012 is the BOMB here, this track contains the essence of the Pleiadians energy and it will instantly hook you. Can't you remember the beaches in Goa or Bali back then? When you were dancing under the stars like there is no tomorrow? Well that's exactly how you feel while listening to this track, or at least that is what I felt. I had a deja-vu the first time I heard this and I thought, where am I? Is it 2012 or did I travel back in time? Well I am glad I am still into the present and that I can enjoy this fantastic track. The production is just crystal clear and the melodies are wonderful, so let this track take you far out there and dream. Asterope (Etnica Remix) is another jewel, it sounds fantastic, similar but yet different from the original version, just awesome. Melodies haunting and chasing you, so let the music flow and be prepared for a wonderful trip. As always, support the artists: purchase their music and go see them live, it's very well worth it. http://pleiadians.ba...ans-starseed-ep

Great news indeed, its about time they unleash some of their unreleaseds from the time!

Mental Puzzle is being saved/restored by expert hands, it was a nightmare to recover that track from old DATs Rino... especially cause everyone who sent me a "dat rip" had in reality the same usual mp3 decoded/recoded whatever. Seems nobody ever had the real dat tape (which sounds much much better and with some sounds non present in the mp3 that floated forever around).

Great return of the master of psychedelia, excellent news! I heard all the tracks full lenght and it is really great music, but i have to be honest, i really don't like the artwork, at all. But is the music that counts and yay for the return!!

WTB/WTT Various – Trance Experience - A Journey Into Aural Geometry
draeke replied to psypras's topic in For Sale/ Trade
good luck with this one, it took me years to find one, but maybe in these times of crisis people are selling! if i remember correctly was much easier to find the LP of this rather than the cd. cheers man -
I am very happy to see this coming out, I had some of those tunes and they are indeed great, so happy ka-swing is finally out!

It's about time I make a proper announcement and today is the day. After long hours ripping DAT tapes, some discussions, and the help of my network of close friends I can finally announce that I signed the deal, this year on DAT Records a double CD will be released, Etnica it is. I am extremely pleased to announce this . More news very soon now, but it is real!! Be ready for a great trip!

so what are original cd's really worth these days?
draeke replied to technosomy's topic in General Psytrance
We always go through cycles. In year 2000 every old cd was worth a normal price and back then is when I got most of my collection (both online and offline in real stores, especially in the UK).Then from 2001 to 2004 the prices started to raise as our "generation" of collectors (famous names on discogs and here) started to go crazy to complete their collection (including myself) and prices therefore raised a point were people were willing to buy for high prices (up to 400 eur for a cd, I seen that happening). After that, prices went a bit down overall in 2005-2006 and you could find some really rare cds for 50 eur or the whereabouts. Now after the big crisis of 2008-9 prices dropped even more except for a few incredibly rare releases (Hunab Ku works as an example), that in goa trance. For Ambient releases (FAX +49, em:t and similar labels), market never suffered the price crisis for as far as I can see, and these albums continue to be worth and to be sold for a lot. Right now yo can sell your common CD for a low price a piece and get some decent money just for the insanely rare releases, so I wouldn't advise anyone to sell right now unless they are desperate. I think the feeling of owning a real release would always be better than having the downloaded flac with artwork (a scan is never as colorful as the original, not to mention that some covers had fluorescent colors or special papers or holograms and similar, that cant be really reproduced by a file can it?). But FLAC and scanned artwork will preserve the music forever, as long as you continue to back it up and change your hard drives every 3-4 years, that with the current technology. -
Richpa, listen to this, Pleiadians new material live:

AS for the rest I'm in Ibiza right now, sorting, selecting, speaking with Etnica and whatnot. Oh and by the way I heard some mind-blowing new material that will please every oldschool fan, believe me; i know a thing of two about their music
-
reger, we know that you don't dig their new productions but saying that everything they produced after Equator is shit is a bit over the top don't you think? And nobody expected you to buy the album off Arkanoydz. Since I was in charge of helping them at the very beginning to find their first label I can tell you that Andrea took part to the production of the music and you may find it interesting to know he was never obsessed with the oldschool sound or wanted to "remake" any old etnica track. They produced new music and that's it. Regarding the new productions of Etnica/Pleiadians I am surprised there is no track that you ever liked because even for an hardcore oldschooler there have been some great tracks here and there. I think that a track like Photonic, for instance and just to name one, was an instant classic. Obviously if you expect to hear their old sound the exact way it sounded in 96 you are just living in the past, it won't come back like that, technology is progressing and everybody is following it.

One of the best psychedelic tracks ever: UbarTmar is a genius! -
Unikos and or Gnome, would you like to try another time contacting them? we are gathering tracks for mind rewind 2 and I am very interested in their music. U may tell them 2012 is here and it's the end of the world, maybe they are willing to let the music flow now after so many years?

Thanks Joske and ma05683! That's really helpful ! I checked the full track that sounds like Nada and indeed sounds very similar to those but it's neither of the 2. It has some similarities with the track Una more than with Abyss, probably a early mix or another track of them. But that's the group and thanks for spotting it!

You are in good company, I heard this track many times but the name eluded me, it's not so easy to identify tracks sometimes.. even when you should know them
