  5. I think technosomy beats us all in absolute terms of numbers
  6. I am happy that Dimensional Rec picked him up, I am sure it will be an interesting EP/Album!
  7. I think he meant the best in the history of recent full on psytrance meaning 2001-2011 It may be just that he wants some suggestions like i asked for music that he will dj at a psytrance party which is not a retrodelic party. If you spin at a full on party you really cannot play any tracks 1994-2000 as they sound too dated. If it's a retro party then is another story EDIT: also if he left open the years we would have an endless list of people praising the same usual suspects, being Simon P, Etnica, Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection, Green Nuns, CHI-AD, Prana, MWNN, etc... so maybe s good to have a list of what people think to be the best albums of the post true goa era
  8. Let's see best albums so far for me of post 2k: must have been (can't choose just one) Progressive Trance/House : Jaia - Fiction Full On/Goa: Talpa - The Art OF Being Non Full On/Psy/Prog: Ovnimoon - Geometric Poetry Full On Compils: VA - TPE - Trance Psychedelic Exp Vol. 4

  12. For once I'll go against the mass opinion and say that at the album launch in London in October, the tracks they played were really regular full on, nothing that impressed me, but i will give the album a chance and see if it is better than what i remember hearing.
  13. there are some valid releases on creamcrop... paps, magus, orichalchum, process, alienated.. i only don't like yumade but that's taste!
  14. sendspace.com (works very well and rarely has full slots for free users but limited to 300mb) rapidshare.com (fast but limited for free users and you must register) yousendit.com (limited to 100mb) wetransfer.com (great for big files up to 2gb!) Also there are some people using DropBox but that requires the other part to be registered as well. UPDATED: October 2012
  15. Thanks for the reccomendations Ormion, I dig the first one , and that is the bordrline of twuilight for me, already quite aggressive, the second video is absolutely outside what i intend by melodic full on, very aggressive and not my thing, its almost dark trance to my ears, sorry.
  16. try writing to SergeKara? funny to know there is some nice full on in a pacman videogame ! http://itunes.apple....ion/id403480433 probably is something Namco commissioned to a psytrance producer, but still i guess you could ask the guy, maybe he knows
  17. I think they used some badly recorded source material to make the mp3 or something went wrong while compressing. Someone should inform them and have it rectified, otherwise what's the point? enjoy the crappy sounding versions of these albums for free, but in a defected version..
  18. Hi everyone, I am interested in exploring the possibilities of digital djing with controllers but i have never used one nor have much info about them or the djing software out there. I installed for fun Tracktor Pro 2 but I realize that without a controller I am absolutely unable to even put tracks in tempo as I am so used to use real hardware. Not to mention i need to listen on the headphone the track that i want to play next and I am not sure how can someone mix with the program without an external piece of hardware. I have been wondering if it could be a nice move as I have been mixing since 97 with real gear but to be honest I could use something easier maybe to worry less about mixing and whatnot. So, have you guys tried any of these pieces of hardware? What do you think about them? I seen the videos on youtube about the new kontrol s2 and seems affordable and nice, but then there are people praising the VCI400 and some others yet preferring Pioneer. Also, what is the most used DJ program? Tracktor? Ableton? Serato? Virtual DJ? which ones you prefer?
  19. Secret to not get bored of any musical genre is to listen many different styles over the years and alternate hardcore listening to no listening at all, that's the way for me. But this topic seems to be the never ending debate of real goa trance vs. neo goa trance. Both are melodical, both are interesting but ones will always favour one o the other. I was thrilled when neo goa appeared in early 2000-2001 because it had been 2 years everybody had quit producing proper goa trance and therefore it was very interesting to see some artists continuing on the path of the old masters. Then some people started to argue the sound was too clean and not like the old times but detractors will always exist whatever music you listen to.
  20. i am impatiently waiting for this album, all the samples ROCKS !
  21. Live footage videos/music of set of the 90s have been proven to be the most difficult material to obtain. I have been searching myself for long and asked a lot of people durng the years and there is not many keen to share. Whoever has them keeps them as rare and not to post around, or so it seems. In any case they are most likely to appear on YouTube if ever, as some people are digitalising their old videotapes every now and then.
  22. @juril: Dub Trees, very nice, I never coudl find that cd original! @JonCrow: nice Japanese arrival there
  23. Thanks for the contribution JonCrow! although I have to say this one is a bit minimalistic and slower tempo than the rest of the selection. it's interesting psytrance but is not exactly the full on i was looking for as I only liked the curse of greyface and divine intervention from it. cheers
