  1. Glad you like it Penzoline! I am very happy of the results! By the way, there is the full working online shop on dat website, check it out oh and i hope people will be satisfied of the album, i am completely!
  2. This is basically a trance album with the exception of one nitzho (Rapido Estupidez) and one goa track (First Breed). I had expectations for this but unfortunately it is not for me. If he were to make a full album like these 2 tracks we would have a winner here. But maybe this album has got a good impact on the tiesto trance scene. Production is good and it shows the artist has a professional touch.
  3. in my opinion some of these artists should not be included in this list. Dimension 5, Ka Sol, Khetzal, Ethereal, Ypsilon 5 and Ra belong to the oldschool wave and should be excluded cause they made music before year 2000. I would make a list of artists that started making goa only after 2000 or even 2001. That said the most awesome new wave artists in my opinion are (in absolute no order of liking, all equals): Emantra, Filteria, Felipe Santos (in all his alias), Artifact303, Goasia, Merr0w, Radical Distortion, Astrancer, Afgin, Nolax
  4. Well Lemmingwinks, I really don't like this kind of videos, to me they just show disrespect to the victims and I found it offensive. I am absolutely not against commercial events, in fact I am angry to the way the event was organized and how they didn't stop it after the incident. A dj who was aware of the situation claimed the organizers told him to go on playing and not to stop the music. If they stopped the event they would have had to give money back to people i assume.
  5. Penzoline, turn on any tv news and you will hear about it.
  6. http://www.ektoplazm.com/2006/nivoc-infinity there is available the mix of dj nivoc officially it seems. try the version there, maybe is even an unreleased mix of that track, who knows!
  7. wow, i was looking forward hearing an oldschool mix of yours Alex! it looks really interesting. downloading right away!
  8. people who organized it into a tunnel are criminals. they should go to jail for life. it doesn't take an idiot to understand it was going to lack air. it is incomprehensible. i am happy they ended this nonsense shit and not sad for a second. sorry but i find this video offensive and out of place. fuck love parade.
  9. tracklist: 1 Space Cat - Spiral (1995 - Australia) 2 Taruna - Rainforest Trance (2002 - Germany) 3 B.Ashra & Ricky Deadking - Clouds Over Chefchaouen (2000 - Germany) 4 Alien Soap Opera - Untitled (2001 - UK) 5 The Morphogenetic - Impulse (1997 - Germany) 6 D.I.D. - A Cure To Recover (1995 - Belgium) 7 Evan - The Travelers (1999 - Canada) 8 Alien Mutation - Skies Of India (1994 - UK) 9 GAD - Singular (1996 - Finland) 10 Sonar Flowers - Probe (1994 - Denmark) 11 Pleiadians - Time Dilation (Draeke Live Edit) (1996 - Italy) 12 Shpongle - Flute Fruit (2001 - UK) PS: yes i did make that live edit of pleiadians, by tweaking the original version live when mixing
  10. +10 but then again i like to watch people around me in stores and see if they have got something i wanted before me.. there is this feeling when you are in shops that is like a war.. but hey ormion, i think your stories are unbeatable. i will think if i recall smth weird but at the moment nothing comes up
  11. Goa-Head i suppose it's possible that, back then, there were so many cd around that some remained unsold and just for the records, dimension 5 was not considered top notch essential killer back then but just "one of the many". The fact Joske re-released the album makes me think he knows what he types because i am sure he asked the guys of dimension 5 the numbers. . I think it's even possible the LP maybe was pressed in more copies than the cd. it happened that too back then (many more dj with vinyls than with cd)
  12. yeah it is, wonderful, tim schult at his best!
  13. Yes, Yeeeesss!!! That happened to me also quite sometimes, damn! Even recently in London in 2009, i met the guy who owned the psychedelic dream temple and said hey hi Nigel, i remember your store! 10 years ago I was in every week to buy cds.. and he was like: ReeeeeaLLLLYYyyy??? and added.. well, you didn't buy enough cause i went out of business! (i swear i could have just answered fuck you at this point) and then again he told me well, we have this new installment around here, please check it. Conversation went on a bit and then i mentioned i was the dat records guy and i swear he didn't believe me.. that was just hilarious to say the least : ). Since he had THAT look i told him, look, i know i don't look like an hippie NOW but i was 10 years ago, believe me. LOL. He finally smiled and we said goodbye. At the end i really think this was funny but is really so crazy there is the counter culture not accepting "normals/regulars/suit + tie wearers/fashion victims/whatever" as possibly more freaked out in their minds than the hippies themselves. I recently met a guy that i could never ever guess knew or liked psytrance, really, and it was nice to know. So at this point the only kind of guy i haven't met yet liking goa trance is someone looking like this: but i am sure somewhere there is one too : )
  14. thanks for letting me know. ubar tmar may have some old material for dat, who knows .. (i am sure he does!!) but hey, also the new music is fucking awesome, yay!
  15. http://www.di.fm/calendar/event.php?event=20874 You'll have a blast! I promise!
  16. i would really like to hear moontale sometimes. i was too late on this and never had a chance to grab it. from the comments i think it is an awesome track : )
  17. it must be me then... but when i heard the pleiadians remix for the first time i was so blown away i barely ever listened to the original again. for me these is no comparison and the remix blows the original 10 times but hey.. everyone has its taste. original in my opinion is too boring and repetitive while the remix has so many things going on that it simply makes me crazy. that is actually the reason i wanted to release tetrahedron.. only for that track .
  18. One quick update on this CD. After 2 years I finally chased all the members and I have a limited number of CD signed by the members of the band. There is just the signature of Francesco D'Amato missing because he has left for Brazil 2 years ago and I really couldn't go there just to get the cd signed BUT I have had all the other members signing 18 copies of the disc. Some will be kept by the label, some are already reserved, but there is a small batch that i will offer for sale. Believe me, having 5 signatures was really a nightmare so PM if interested.
  19. a couple of things : 1 i received this morning the retail version of the cd! finally! 2 the cd is available on DAT Records online shop BUT keep in mind that i will start shipping the 19 of july since the release date is officially set for the 23.. but you can start pre orders of course . that said... HOORAY!!! 3 i don't think there will be a ltd this time, the release is cool as it is and i dont really have any bonus tracks to offer or special stickers..
  20. thanks for the hints but please try not to suggest me anything over 139 bpm that would be too fast for what i have in mind. it has to be mid tempo really and theoretically 135 should be the max speed i look for : ). Some of the suggestions were OK! old or new doesn't matter, i want to know mid tempo trance, 125 to 135 with nice mellow melodies the stuff that is over the true downtempo but not fast enough to dance in a wild party, that's more or less the vibe i look for for a beach party aimed to people that don't know trance and DON'T want to listen too banging stuff.. progressive trance tunes can be suggested for sure.. the point is i want to introduce a lot more people to trance stuff but i know that they cant listen to over 135 bpm stuff so i have to choose wisely but of course i don't want to play commercial house
  21. This compilation is epic. PERIOD. There is really nothing more to add than what people wrote already. Each piece teleported me back and beyond reality, it was a hell of a ride. It had the same effect as when i received RA album (the one on suntrip) I listened to both this VA and to RA 3 times in a row without being able to remove the cd from the player. that's how good it is, really. People, buy it and support suntrip because with this one they really went out there far more than i expected. This cd goes next to top classics compilations such as accidental occidentalism and many others pure classic. A+ (there is not ONE track i don't love to the bone here, top notch) Oh and the last track? should we speak of it? I was amazed, that's really something i will play a lot this summer : )
  22. I think the shpongle vinyls are among the best pieces of my collection. I simply love them and even if i should keep them more safe i play them a lot. they may loose reselling value but the sound they produce is really beautiful. coming to know that there was a limited 300 copies press of the last album is really a bad thing as i don't have one. I really will look hard now to obtain a copy. were they colored/transparent or black? Regarding colored or rainbow vinyls i think the quality is OK, it may not be the special 180gr super heavy vinyl but hey, they play well! About my statement of being limited to 1000 copies i may be wrong, as inexpressible noted, if Simon H told him they are 350 that's probably true. It may be that they hand numbered all the vinyls produced of shpongle randomly or i don't know how to explain the sleeve thing. Maybe they received the batches separately and numbered some before, some later.. no idea. Fact is i have number 609 (the pictures on discogs are all mine by the way) adn can't tell u if they numbered from 500 to 850 or from 600 to 950 or who knows.. Now I can say I need the newest shpongle!! they should have warned all the loyal customers with a mailing list or smth! bah!

  24. So, since i'll be heading pretty often to the post office soon (crossing mind release is pretty soon) i decided it was about time to make a thread with all the cd i have here for trade - sale not so rare, some commons ozric tentacles stuff, giving these away only because i am replacing them with rarer original pressings. all these are remastered editions with better artwork and sound, not sure i am doing a good thing here sealed new, retail price rares insanely rare ask me about any of these in detail. basically i am looking for equally valued trades or for cash, don't try to ask me if you can have asia 2001 live for 3 common cd, i want a rare cd i don't have (good luck..) boom!
