This is all true and false. some artists didn't release just the worst tracks, that is for sure, but some others, had some special tracks they did not want to release at all or didn't have a chance to. Etnica, for instance, refused to release Trip Tonight Remix until 2000 but they made it 2 or 3 years before. it was one of their special tracks to be played at live sets or dj sets. This is just one example from the band i know better but i am very sure there are other artists who did the same, and some have some of their special gems / best hit that are still unreleased. Another example is Interstellar Overdrive, a greek band that never wanted to release at all, despite having 10 incredible mind blowing tracks, and they were offered by TIP World in 99 to release and they refused, as they refused other label proposal, they said, as far as i know, that their music was JUST theirs and they didn't want it to be published. And trust me, i have heard 5 of their tracks, they were monstrously good. But Magus for instance, from greece, didnt receive the needed attention, they had dozends of good tracks and nobody released a full album, until recently, but that recent album is all made of modern remixes.. if i can i'd love to release some very funky and wicked tune like Funkadelic Drink (just to name one very good of thier unreleaseds) But i agree there is A LOT of unreleased crap Thanks for all the suggestions, i will try my best to contact these artists.. and yes Anoebis, Amanite FX was really good, but i never heard any of their unreleaseds unfortunately, do u have any or a way of contacting them? i remember i found sometime ago a website announcing their return and offering a sample of a new track, but i lost it.

Xpandoz thanks for commenting the samples.. i was starting to wonder if anyone listened or liked them at all soon there will be samples on psyshop and saikosounds too (which are gonna be longer ehe) i am VERY happy of the remastering job that Tim Schuldt did: loads and loads of elements emerged on the tracks and they sound really crsip and fantastic in my opinion, i didn't imagine such a facelift hooray!

yes, that is what i wanted, thanks for the replies ! The option of re releasing b sides is something i thought too. I forgot to mention i asked already to tim about his old material and he is interested. One top notch killer track that i would want to release is Ushuaya - 3 Months, he is already looking for the DAT containing it. He thinks, though, that he released all his old material, but many tracks only on vinyl, that's right. Psychaos is definetely someone i will want to release very much as well as Total Eclipse and Transwave. If Toi Doi will answer to my call there is definetely some stuff i would want to check from him We'll see.. by the way there are samples of the crop circles online, check my other topic about the album release.

Hello, what kind of old tracks woul you people like to see released *possibly* on a next release of my label? I have some ideas and i leave them here: I have tons of old lotus omega tracks that never seen the light of the day, like the splendid Alien Form (original and remix) that you can have a sneek preview on that goa gil mix (but that doesnt fully do justice to it) the infamous killer joke which sounds like crop circles and in reality is 12 minute long (the version that is on p2p is a 5 minute cut track of it) and a great remix of 100% revital free too + others at the same level.. rossi and fleps (lotus omega member's nicknames) surely knew how to deliver wicked psychedelic sounds plus there are old california sunshine around (like a nice remix of alala, which i lately found on a tape) and i am in contact with loopus in fabula too which probably will make me listen to their tapes too and they had some wicked stuff for sure! I may as well try to see if chi-ad has some material from the old times that can be released (some redivider remix i seem to recall is not released) etc.. so basically what are the artists u'd like more to revive? (don't answer etnica, as i already have plans for their old unreleased music, this is a topic about other projects) let me know

For everyone interested, some updates: After some troubles with mastering (troubles caused by me sending not the best rips to Tim, and some general troubles with the music) 3 tracks were freshly remastered and as of today i finally have the master cd with finished work. I am though waiting for Miro to finalize the high resolution artwork and for MCPS Copyright Agency to give me the paper to go on with pressing, but after these 2 things get solved *I THINK* pressing will start. Pressing plant is Sony in South Wales, and will manufacture 1000 copies of the album. They will then ship to the distributor and a part will then arrive to me. Distributor will then ship to shops and once all is set, the stores will start selling and a proper release date will be set. That's why so far I couldn't provide one, too many delays, too many things were difficult to sort but we are now close About paying: online shops have their means of payment but you can also order from me using either paypal or bank transfer or cash in a letter/whatever just all the possibilities are available (well just not direct credit card, cause i can't process a CC order). I hope all is clear !Is finally happening! PS: I have hired Triskele Management for online and offline promotion so they got me a page on Freeze Magazine & Dream Creation... and on DC there is going to be a page about my label! Woohoo!

there were versions with a tetrahedron on it, but think about it, it was just a pyramid and the sense of it is in the crop shape, did u notice? also, the tetrahedron is the symbol of the disco amnesia in ibiza, the covers looked like if they were from that disco... much better this way, believe me By the way, sleeve concept is mine, the artist, Miro did an awesome job in interpreting my ideas, we worked for almost 2 months to get the best cover possible. i put a lot of energy in this release and is delayed to get you the best possible deal

By RIPS i meant different dat rips, i had at least 3 different versions for each track to choose from. no mp3s here. is pure DAT material. why u thought they were mp3s? also DAT get ripped , u rip a wave out of it and that's it

what a show from what i seen/heard on the net. every report i read/heard is about a fantastic night and show. now, when will be the next time they will play live?? eheh this time was too expensive for me, considering the investment for the crop circles release, but thanks to all for sharing these stories/pics/videos, and i heard there will be a dvd, which would deserve to us that couldnt be there also, maybe after shpongle new album, another gig will be a must :drama:

there are at least 3 new finished tracks, which are insanely beautiful, i had the chance to hear them once while with someone important this year. i suppose that's the new material they played in the liveset, extremely long tracks like over 10 minutes each, and stunning. i hope the new album comes out soon as is a kind of return to the first album sound, very psychedelic less brazilian or ethnic in general )) i didn't hear/see on the web the show but thanks to you that posted the stream rip i will now i heard that the afterparty was in a hole though, too little and overcrowded

ahahaha i mailed him about that nonsense, and he answered that he put me in "angry list" cause supposedly i didn't answer to 3 private messages of him asking for music, so, for ignoring such a request i got myself in the angry list. Now i think i understand how some people manage to get banned . But after explaining him that I was extremely busy with the label and the release, and that in any case i got ONE only message that i didn't answer to, he was all happy and removed me from that place....

i totally agree site is much lighter and easier to be browsed. and to answer unikos: there is not JUST 1 topic here, there are many, all about psytrance: album reviews, dj section, interviews, lost tracks, labels/artists announcements, parties and maybe there will be also the religion/philosophy section that anoebis talked about (or was about general cultures?) well in any case, there are gazillions of forums around speaking about other things, just pick your interest and register elsewhere I hope many people will now contribute more to the site with reviews and all the sections. And to the many people who still think is not a good idea: they hacked the site because they got obsessed/banned/insulted/whatever IN the offtopic section. I didn't see anywhere else that misbehavior of participants, and if some people came here only for the off topic section, well, I personally don't miss them, the more people into psytrance the better. This is a forum for the diffusion of psychedelic trance music culture, isn't it ?

being absolutely not a fan of darkpsy i can say that this track has some nice elements, a bit mysterious, and with some nice fxs here and there (speak of the track in the video).. but unfortunately is too hard this music for my ears, they kinda suffer from this . But i managed to hear this one fully. nice spot for who likes this genre i guess..

the album is FUCKING awesome. something diverse! is very psychedelic in an interesting way, nice samples and great melodies mixing different styles and genres mixed together. is probably going to surprise a lot of people, but for me is very fresh. I am basing my impression on the saiko samples but i ordered it and hope to get it soon! :drama: so many great releases are coming out.. wohoo! big thumbs up for Talpa PS: is available on wirikuta website for buying

I fully agree with Mars decision here, people, after all this forum is/should be about psychedelic trance culture, we want to read reviews, hear news, share music mixes, comment and confront all that is/was about psychedeic music and colture. There are gazillion places to speak of other things and if that section (that i barely ever venued into) creates so many troubles, better gone forever. to muerto: if that section was the only reason for you to stay, well goodbye. to everyone: it seems to me that even in reviews, announcements and everywhere generally there has always been a bit of commenting, side humour, jokes and such, so it is not like this place is going to be SO different, come on! let's just hope these people would get identified and get what they deserve

This is truly nice. What a lovely website this has always been.. at the beginning i was a bit sad that the old goatrance.free.fr had disappeared as i was a regular user of TRiP first and then of goatrance.free.fr There were some posts of mine somewhere around and definetely liked this all from the real beginning. I don't remember if i ever wrote a review but my guess is no, i was browsing a lot of them though and the site alwas helped me to discover more and more about this world. Very good about the parties and i wish i had come to some of the old ones.. You should definetely make some psynews parties again! Thanks for all the effort you put through all this over the last 10 years Ps: I think i spotted children somewhere by the way, will send mars a pm about it.
