ahaha I DO have konzept vinyl lol.. but i wouldnt define it as proper psytrance.. it surely had some trance feelings but calling it proper psytrance seems a bit too much.. well but is personal opinion.. i think the proper sound was around 93.. maybe god's eye on goa or suck my dang a long from 92 had a bit of it.. but again is just a personal feeling thanks for all the interesting answers i am checking some tunes here and there.. too bad i never heard that smile ep though.. how was it ?

some answers.. the new album is blasting, i like it very much.. i was in contact with dave these days and he said that the online shop will be the exclusive way for fan to get his music, which to me is a nice idea as we directly support him and his music this way! After that I also asked about a proper release of the album but he said that for now there is the digital download option and with the FLAC we do have the same deal as the original. As someone was asking, yes, there is a way to convert them to wave but i can tell you that nero should be able to burn them directly to cd transforming them to wave but anyway http://flac.sourceforge.net/ this is the official flac website where u can download the frontend program to do all the conversions u may need! about itunes i think the mp3 can be imported directly no? more news is that he is probably going to release more music on the website, an ambient cd collection and eventually some old never released tracks

yeah you are probably right the party shoots are definetely early 2000s... but then let's rephrase it as a video for one of the oldest psytrance tracks ehe this was released in 1993! can u believe that? it sounds waaaay ahead of its time..

yes the cd psyhoe has, even if bootleg, is surely a silver pressed cd when it has that inscription on the silver part of the cd.. while the image on discogs doesnt seem at all from the retail cd but probably from a cdr with a printed cover placed on it. as i dont have that album original myself (very rare) i cant tell you how the real retail version should look like.. i think Joske has it maybe he can asnwer to this

to me seems just a bootleg, with all due respect the original blue moon release doesn't look like that.. it looks rather cheap.. and if it was a legit release why not having a proper cd name on the cover? some copyright infos and such? label infos? the cat number on the spine can be pressed with anything.. i guess u have been fooled if u paid it a big price but i hope not. at parties was very common to sell bootlegs by the way.

all the replies were very interesting.. and diaks, aha, that was funny about the having it pressed just for my pleasure.. is more than wanting it on silver cd, is the closing of a circle, as many people know i have been trying hard for a long time to get this album out and would simply be the result of a huge effort and to put the word end to this . To answer someone else about a lunar ep repress, well i wouldnt risk immediately a double cd but there can be a reissue of the single afterwards if the sale justify it, but would be again a very limited release.. if albums do no sell, single even less! As u all realized by reading Joske post you certainly understood the market is SO liited.. but really, is not that there aren't people lisening.. is just that the real mass sticks to pirated mp3s.. that is a matter of fact. I was seeing some numbers on torrents sites or on sites offering free mp3 releases and hey there were some albums downloaded 5000 times.. so you realize how it really is . But knowing that Transdimensional sold over 500 in little time is a relief! that was even already released in the past and many people had it already either original or copied. So this album, that may not sound like perfect in terms of production, is still a piece of history in the sense that the tracks were played a lot on parties back then and many people in a way or another heard them.. so it may work out. I guess that with 500 sold i might get somehow even to the production costs.. and if i manage to sell more even earn a bit to think about releasing something else afterwards.. here we go ok let's see if we can have a clear vision on this matter... i spoke with all the members of the team and there is a general consense on my will to release it but there are the problems mentioned above..everyone wants his piece of the cake.. beside that i spoke seriously with maurizio about an oldschool department of etnica.net and we will see what could be done. I will anyhow go to ibiza sometime this summer and try to get a deal with max, eventually something will move. keep you posted.. beside that do you know how much is to print a cd? u do not go below the 3000/4000 eur... which is frankly quite a risk for such a small market. but maybe there wont be troubles to sell out 1000 cds of the crop circles.. even if i have my doubts. now that is not available everyone wants it but then at the moment u really have to pay for it everyone will simply stick to the mp3 release that will be "fair enough" for everyone that is not a collector.. prove me wrong !

ah yes. you are right, that is badly written. what i wanted to say was: if he managed to find in modern produced discs of other genres, like the general mainstream psytrance released, or the full on stuff, som.e soul. that to me is hard to find and i was mentioning that this one and several others goatrance releases produced now have a soul. my apology for my terrible english but it would have been non coherent with my whole post the idea of no soul in ra, no? well anyway, the album is just wonderfoul! i heard it like 15 times already and works very well.. starting to love very much the final track.. so deep and enchanting

Hi everyone! as i wrote on discogs, the album is a masterpiece, i have heard in my life a LOT of oldschool stuff and believe me there is some magical vibe to this one, i really admire a producer that despite the difficult times we are living musically speaking, managed to concentrate the essence of what used to be the music that had us dancing and dreaming. Regarding the chit chat above of being an album with no soul, i ask to the guy if he managed to find any soul in the modern produced material. To me it is impossible to find.. and if you say oldies were always better, ok i can agree but remember that these oldies are somehow magical because we all have great memories of parties, situations, atmospheres that were created because it was THE THINGh, everywhere the music played was the same and there was somehow a vibe over the world that was simply different. If theoretically right now they would play only oldschool music at every party everywhere in the world the vibe globally would change, both on the producers and on the people but this wont happen as for now for what i see. But back to the album i can say it has a balanced structure and the order of the tracks is also very well chosen, we build up to an apex of the fastest and most delirious track in the middle to get down and get more deep an mature to the tracks towards the end. So really overall, if u miss this album, you are missing a true piece of art. It will build its own history on its own, there wont be any need to speak furthermore from my side. Big respect to the artist for his work and all his dedication and a big thanks to the suntrippers for bringing us another gem

I do remeber young telling me the tracklist long ago but i really didnt write it down.. i remember there will be something remixed by dado, something by gms and tristan maybe.. but is justa vague memory.. it was many months ago. the release is probably ready by now.. i will contact the usual suspects and try to have more news for you all.. volume 1 had some great tunes! i hear a sample of another remix of vimana on the etnica myspace page.. seems very interesting and with an oldschool vibe, we will see..
