  1. It's an instant contender for best album of the year.
  2. Trolsk

    Ott - Skylon

I feel the same way. I still listen to Hallucinogen in Dub, but Ott's own albums aren't that interesting. The only tune I found to be above average on the new album was the second track, The Queen Of All Everything.
  3. The release date is 2008-01-25 according to the distributor: http://arabesque.co.uk//index.php?option=c...Itemid=99999999
  4. The TV series is excellent, a lot better than the movie.
  5. The sample is from the Twin Peaks tv series. Some discussion about that "poem": http://www.sheepproductions.com/tps/quotes/poems.htm
  6. The second track is the best one, it's some what similar to GMS vs. Dado , Dino Psaras & Dimitri Nakov D.D.D. 'N' R & B on the Tweakers compilation on Spun: http://www.discogs.com/release/240610
  7. I don't know about you, but I thought Demon Tea was no longer active, but it seems I was wrong. They have just released an album by a new swedish artist calling himself M.E.E.O. (Mathias Eriksson Electronic Orchestra). It's old school psychedelic trance at its best (judging by the samples). It's quite obvious where the guy has gotten some of his inspiration, but I won't spoile the surprise, listen for yourself: http://www.meeo.se/released.htm I've never heard of the guy before, but the samples are just excellent, really impressive stuff. 2008 couldn't start better!
  8. These are my recommendations: Psychoid - Psychoid: An album that was supposed to be released by Koyote but never was. Look around and you'll find it. Tracks like Manic Organic, Out there and Second Sight will blow you away. Great stuff. Koxbox - The Great Unknown: Groovy, psychedelic, percussion driven. Process - One Drop Or Two?: One of the best albums ever made. Night oriented. Maskalin - Way of Life: More groovy, psychedelic, percussion driven music.
  9. I have the same printing on my version and I bought it around the time it was released. Most TIP compilation releases have the printing you and I have so I would say that it's the version on Discogs that is the unique one and not the other way around.
  10. You should try mediafire.com it's the best service out there. No time limit on uploads.
  11. "Sorry, the file you requested is not available." :-(
  12. I've just finished an ambient mix: http://www.mediafire.com/?32nxxyyg2vx The journey starts with some deep space ambient and ends with contemporary jazz. I'm very happy with the result, I hope you all like it. Tracklist: 01. Vangelis - Abraham's Theme 02. Robert Rich - Rainforest Suite Surface 03. Adham Shaikh and Tim Floyd - Embers 04. Brian Eno - Lanzarote 05. Biosphere - From a Solid to a Liquid 06. Aes Dana - Peripherics 07. Carbon Based Lifeforms - Comsat 08. Sync24 - Replicant 09. Cliff Martinez - Will She Come Back 10. Colleen - The Golden Morning Breaks 11. Bugge Wesseltoft - Skog 12. Sidsel Endresen & Bugge Wesseltoft - Try 13. Jazzanova - Introspection
  13. I've been away from the forum for over a month, maybe longer, and now when I'm back there's finally information about the album. The new tracks on his MySpace page sounds great! Life is good.
  14. The best mix is of course Tsuyoshi Suzuki's Shamanic Trance mix on Return to the Source.
  15. Well, I'm one of those persons that consider Dragon Tales to be their best work, closely followed by The Great Unknown. Too bad Koxbox has lost it these days. Any way, I would love to hear this live recording from Burning Man: http://www.discogs.com/release/432623 If you think you could make it happen, please send me a private message.
  16. Seems like Spiral Trax is releasing the vinyl EP and Hom-mega the CD EP: Future Music @ Psyshop This discussion is now officially over, as is the good days of Spiral Trax.
  17. Shpongle vs Hedningarna / The Heathens Bus vs Kino Oko Darshan vs Psykovsky Jaia vs Magnetrixx Blue Planet Corporation vs Nuclear Ramjet Nystagmus vs Talpa CPC vs Quasar
  18. I transfered all of my Flying Rhino compilations to my computer a couple of days ago so I've actually been listening to their releases quite a lot recently. My favorite releases are: Blue Planet Corporation - Blue Planet Darshan - Awakening Darshan - Spectra V/A - Airborn V/A - Black Rhino V/A - First Flight V/A - Slipstream V/A - Singularity V/A - Velocity
  19. You should also look for Music for Spaceports. It's probably hard to find the original release, but certainly worth the effort. I listened to it a lot back when it was released. It's a highly enjoyable mix of techtrance och melodies, there are some really great melodic moments on that album. Some tunes would work very well with Blue Planet Corporation from the same era. If you're interested in their history you should look for Max Chapados (one of the members) debut album Transe Modulaire as Aeon. A piece of unknown goa history. The standout track is Osho, an almost unknown melodic masterpiece. The track is remixed on the Mission to Sedna album. Btw, if anyone wants to sell Transe Modulaire please send me msg.
  20. In the pants of goa nerds and on Soulseek.
  21. "It is being sold because Simon needs something slightly bigger for the upcoming fourth Shpongle Album."
  22. I was a bit skeptical when I first heard the samples, but since then I've been listening to the album over and over again. This is another strong Vibrasphere release. The only weak point are the downtempo tunes at the end of the album, it's not that their bad (they're really good), it's just that I wished that the there were even more uptempo tunes. I remember that I criticized the previous album for being more of the same and I hoped that they would reinvent their sound, and that's exactly what they have done with this release. The new album is as strong as their previous efforts and this time around their sound is taking new and exciting turns. This album will certainly introduce a wider audience to the Vibrasphere sound. Several of my friends who are not into psytrance feel in love with it immediately and I'm sure you will too. Highly recommended!
