  1. I'd like to give some appreciation to Aeternum's Flow; a beautiful tribal morning tune. Some other good examples of the same type of sound are Trickster's Turquoise Mood and Morganixx' Egal. A return of that sound would be very nice.
  2. This is really excellent morning music!
  3. I've never been a Human Blue fan (he undoubtly has some good tunes) so I won't comment on the music, but the album title, "misStArRyAs Xperience", is he a warez kid or something?
  4. It would be a lot easier too call Raja Ram other things than "psychedelic clown" or "muse" if he had a project of his own, but he hasn't. He has only been involved in collaborations so judging his actual input is hard. I hear a lof of Posford in Shpongle and a lot of GMS in 1200 Mics. Here's some guilt by association: Raja Ram and Skazi on stage
  5. Order is restored yet chaos rules the threads.
  6. A download is not a lost sale, a lot of people download music that is worth more than they could afford to pay for so even if downloads could be completely banned it would not necessarily mean a new golden era for the record labels. If you compare the mid 90's to the present you will find that most people consume more dvds and video games today than they did back then. The entertainment budget relative to the consumers income is probably constant during that period but more things are bought for that money today.
  7. Try Hux Flux releases pre-Cryptic Crunch: Time Slices, Perceptor and Logarhythmic. Bring Your Own Bios and Snickesnack are also worth your attention.
  8. An explanation that is widly overlooked is that the production costs for records are lower now as a result of increasing computer power and better software. Lower costs means higher incitamens for creating your own label. More labels means more competition. More competition means more supply but not necessary more demand. If the demand remains the same and the supply increases then the profit margin decreases hence forcing some labels to go bankrupt. Yes, I agree, and I strongly doubt there is a basic understanding of economics or business economics among the psytrance record labels. Just because you have your own label you can't expect to live of it or break even if you do not know how to run a business. Spiral Trax is gone and that's sad, they undoubtly had some important releases during their existance. If there's a continued demand for their kind of music a new label will certainly fill that gap.
  9. The 2005 highlights were for me: Jaia - Fiction - Digital Structures Magnetrixx - Wired - AP Records Midimiliz - Non Standards - Gravity Plus Ocelot - VectorSelector - DropOut Psykovsky - Debut - Vertigo Voice of Cod - We Are Free - Organic V/A - Apsara - Sundance V/A - Chronika Chapter 2 - Boshke Beats V/A - Left Coast Liquid - Native State Records So far, 2006 haven't been that exciting, I've only enjoyed: Fuzzion - Black Magic - Boshke Beats Nuclear Ramjet - Mission To Sedna - Spaceport Records V/A - Beneath the Surface - Native State Records You might also want to listen to: Filteria - Heliopolis - Suntrip Ka-Sol - Fairytale - Suntrip Khetzal - Corolle - Suntrip Nystagmus - The Immaculate Perception - Sundance Tranan - Restarter Vibrasphere - Archipelago - Digital Structures Some of the recommendations are progressive or dark psytrance, even though that was not what you asked for it might be worth the trouble.
  10. First Aether returns as JNR Hacksaw, exploring breaks territories, and now Digitalis is back in business! I wrote about JNR Hacksaw in a another thread and recommended a mix by Bushby that contained three JNR Hacksaw tunes. That mix is no longer available at its original location mentioned in the thread but now it's available at a new location for your pleasure: Bushby - Poo Tunes for Disco Bars
  11. I've had it playing in the background while reading the news paper this morning and I like it a lot, certainly my cup of tea. Good trackselection and nice floating vibe, should work like a charm in any lounge.
  12. I remember people calling it too melodic, understandable since it was released back in the days when minimal psy a la Paps and Yumande was the thing. But commercial? Not sure about that. I think it's one of the finest melodic albums out there and it's certainly one of my favorite spring/summer albums. I do understand that some might find it commercial, but at least Izik Levy had the decency to release it as Green House Effect and not Sandman. About his current musical progression, I'm not too impressed by what's been released so far. There are hints of old Sandman in them and I would probably be more impressed if I heard them at a party, still it's mainly generic neo full on. There are enjoyable moments in the tracks at MySpace but the sound quality is too bad to really enjoy or get into them.
  13. Seems like you're the only one that can access it then. I, like the others, get server not found.

    wtf?

Don't you have any applicable consumer right laws in Germany? In Sweden a company that made such a mistake would have to pay the postage, but you will of course have to tell them your rights or they will ignore them.
  16. Because it has become unimaginative crap: Infected Mushroom Sandman TIP World Because it's excellent: Shpongle Pleiadians - I.F.O. Venetian Snares - Meathole Doof - It's About Time Darshan - Awakening

    Raja Ram presents

Raja Ram presents six pretentious tracks.
  18. Depth, layers, subtle melodies, mutations, Extrawelt music.
  19. Just finished uploading it for you: Inr G - Rites of Animalness It's what you're looking for. Btw, not my mix, I got it a couple of years ago via the 604 list, but it's no longer available on the net, until now. Enjoy!
  20. I didn't know that they were the ones behind that project, but I've been enjoying Soopertrack on Agorias excellent Cute & Cult mix cd.
  21. It really caught my attention when I heard the samples at psyshop last week. Now that I've listened to it completely I'm no longer that interested. Drink More Tea is the standout track for me, but that's about it. I'm sure others will enjoy it more than me though. Might give it another chance tonight.
  22. Hey, this thread is off-topic, hommega full on pop is not psy-trance, please delete this thread.
  23. Agreed. I only listen to it on special occasions and everytime I'm deeply impressed by what's going on; the manipulation, the melodies, the flow, and so on. Although there are other equally great albums out there, there are absolutely no albums that can match The Lone Deranger as far as joyful earthy mushroom madness is conserned. Nine years after its release it's still at the top. Some individuals might enjoy other albums more, but The Lone Deranger album remains the most impressive sonic manipulation achievement within the boundaries of psychedelic trance.
