Nuclear Ramjet are great, they're not generic psytrance, but their music is certainly very psychedelic, deep and moving, and the production is excellent. If you're feed up with the overpolished and emotionless progressive trance then Nuclear Ramjet might be what you're looking for. Some of you might be familiar with one of their other projects: Aeon. Back in 1996 they released a great and sadly overlooked album called Transe Modularie on german label Ninetysix Sounds. If you're a goa junkie, it's a must have album. The new Nuclear Ramjet album actually includes a new version of their classic track Osho.

Are there any planned releases for your sublabel Yellow Feather? Has the wide availability of software synths changed your way of working? File sharing, long term negative effects of long term positive effects?

I can't ID any of them, but I'm sure that the first track is not a Hallucinogen track.

But then again, you avoid anything that is not goa, so really, who cares?

You are absolutely correct, I misread the info at Discogs, never bothered to check my own copy of the album, it was too far away, 2 meters or so and discogs was infront of me.

Try Vatos Locos' (Nick Doof is part of that constellation) and their second album Attack and Release. There are some Doof moments in that album, although the sound is also influenced by the other members. Still, it's a very good album that deserves more attention.

I wouldn't call Ra / Christer Borge-Lunde an ex member of Dimension 5, he collaborated on two tracks on the last Dimension 5 album, that's it, afaik. Any way, looking forward to this album.

I've been waiting for a follow up to their great Music for Spaceports album for way too long and now the wait is finally over! The samples do sound as great as I was hoping for.
