  1. Boring source material = boring/generic remix Remember the Hallucinogen remix of Stimuli from 2004, that wasn't too bad was it?
  2. A Shpongle mouse pad would be nice, but it's way too expensive, I'd rather buy this fine Monty Python mouse pad for £2.95:
  3. Her father is danish and her mother is polish and she has an older brother (a sister and a twin brother) according to her biography at IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0424060/bio According to Discogs Ian Ion's real name is Ian Johansson: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Ian+Ion Not any real evidence but...
  4. The group Jammy Wizard (The AngstRom Dispidooshan track on Second Flight) are the Slinky Wizard members and Jamiroquai's keyboard player Toby Smith.
  5. Juno Reactor/Ben Watkins made most of her music. Traci Lords' is not a porn star, she's a former porn star, if you want to learn more about her tragic and destructive life as a porn star you can read her autobiography called Underneath It All. By the time she worked with Juno Reactor she was a former porn star.
  6. Having spent a lot of time on the Internet since 1995 I think I might be able to translate it It's a big lie Aliran... You're a big piece of shit becuase that time you came I helped you too look for a label and I told you that only your name would be on that cd...and I did that deal with xp not carlos and I gave them your name Aliran Mymon. Because you had two names, and man, I told you that, so why do you try to fake people name, make your tracks with "your mix" and don't look for shit, I did more tracks then you can dream of, you piece of shit, you should say thanks, since you asked for sound stuff and I gave you that and I only tried too help you. Man, you should make your own tracks and let your tracks speak...one year ago when you came too me I helped you a lot but you are a super shit person for doing this...have a good life. That's how I interpret it, but it's still a bit incoherent.
  7. I've taken the liberty to upload an old psy-trance mix by danish dj Jens M called Hail the Fluffies as part of our "celebration". The mix mainly consists of tunes from 1997-1998 (see tracklist below). It's a great mix of some excellent tunes from that time. The mix used to be available at his website, but it is no more, so now I've made it temporarily available at yousendit: Jens M - Hail the Fluffies (MP3 @ 192 kbps) Tracklist (I've also created a cue file for the mix): 01. Infernal Machine - The Loin Sleeps Tonight 02. Space Cat - Kreak 03. Hallucinogen - Snarling (Remix) 04. Psykov - Megalithic 05. Orichalcum & The Deviant - Alien Homes 06. Etnica - Mind Altering Drugs 07. X-dream - Panic in Paradise 08. Slide - Waking Up To Chaos Enjoy!
  8. You could call the project Pipe dreams.
  9. There would be fewer new labels that release what everyone else is releasing if the artists didn't license what ever crap tune they have on their harddrive...
  10. You're welcome, nerd! Ah, well, I'm also a goa dork. I haven't payed too much attention to this scene the last couple of years since all I heard was crappy neo full on, but something happened in 2004, suddenly there were excellent debuts by Misted Muppets and Filteria and great new albums by Vatos Locos, Son Kite and Etnica. To me 2005 has been even more exciting.
  11. Ha, thought it sounded like Slide! Thanks for the help, highly appreciated!
  12. While you're at it you could also identify this track: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=30709 It shouldn't be too hard, it's a released track from 1997-1998.
  13. I have this excellent 1997-1998 mix by danish Jens M called Hail the Fluffies. I know all tracks but the last one. It sounds like it could be something by Kris Kylven or Pete Martin of UX, it certainly has their sound with that industrial edge. But it's not an UX tune because I know all of them, and it's not something of Slide's Unstable album. It could however by a Slide single. It might also be something by Orichalcum or The Deviant. I've been browsing through tons of records but I just can't find this last track! Here's a sample of it: Sample @ YouSendIt Just to help you all a bit, it's none of the following releases: I'm planning to upload this great mix at yousendit for your listening pleasure as soon as I've managed to figure out this last track, so please help! Here's the tracklist for the mix: 01. Infernal Machine - The Loin Sleeps Tonight 02. Space Cat - Kreak 03. Hallucinogen - Snarling (Remix) 04. Psykov - Megalithic 05. Orichalcum & The Deviant - Alien Homes 06. Etnica - Mind Altering Drugs 07. X-dream - Panic in Paradise 08. Unknown
  14. I'm sure a lot of you remember Nervasystem and Aether, back in 1999 they released a very trippy, original and freeform psy album called The Mama Matrix Most Mysterious on their own label, Electric Orgasm Records. Prior to that they both had some good tunes on various compilations. It seems Aether is back in business, now under another alias namely JNR Hacksaw. This time around he's releasing "psycho-active electro breaks". His first release is an EP on UK label Trigger Recordings. If you have a thing for Tipper, Si Begg, Digitalis or that excellent 21-3 Records compilation called Elastic then this is something you'll enjoy. There's more information about JNR Hacksaw in this interview at Nubreks.com. A promising snippet from the interview: Btw, if you want some more good electro breaks, try this mix by Bushby, there are some JNR Hacksaw tunes in it: Bushby - Tones for Disco Bars
  15. Could you please tell us what it is?
  16. Yes, I am all out of arguments. How could I argue with your brilliants arguments such as "you shouldn't discuss cover design since you're not design artists" or "you should respect my opinion since I'm one of those people who built this since". Mission impossible!
  17. V/A - Wonderland (2CD) - Waldfrieden Events - 2006
  18. Thank for sharing, I'll add that in my special little book. What happened to Zolod?
  19. I discovered goa trance in 1996. My first purchases were Deep Trance and Ritual Beats (Return to the Source) and Distance to Goa 3 (Substance). It was a great introduction to the music I consider to be the most important of my life. I don't listen to the old releases that much these days because they're too emotional, intense and trippy, I only save them for really special occasions. Boom Shiva!
  20. At first I thought it was a bit reminiscent of Toi Doi, but the sounds lack his dry noisy style. The melody that kicks in at 0:43 is very trippy, and it is so familiar, but I just can't place it. The break and build up at 1:43 reminds me a bit of Etnica/Pleiadians. The baseline isn't their style though. I'm sorry, I can't ID it, but it's an excellent and very trippy tune! If you ever find out what track it is please post here.
  21. Unconfirmed rumours of Twisted's future (non) existence, seems like it good turn into quite a discussion, but hopefully I'm wrong.
