  1. Another great Oxygen Records cover:
  2. The first half of the album is really good as it explores the same territory as the Lex Rex Perplex / Errorhead single, the single is better though. The second half of the album is just filler material. Overall, a half finished album and big disappointment.
  3. Great morning music. Melodic, light and beautiful. Love it!
  4. The promotion text is even better:
  5. Well, you honestly believed that Simon had only done DMT too, so... EDIT: Better add a smiley:
  6. Yeah, right! He's made the most well known acid anthem of this scene: LSD. He's calling himself Hallucinogen. There's tons of drug references in his music. Any way, here's a quote form an interview: Full interview here
  7. Breakcore rules!!! Psytrance sucks!!!

  9. Nystagmus' debut album The Immaculate Perception is Infected Mushroom's brilliant Classical Mushroom album reinvented for 2005. It's good old melodic psychedelic trance, not groundbreaking, and a bit too reminescent of the original. If Nystagmus were to develop his own style then future releases could prove to be excellent. As of now I can't help but feel that I've heard it before. Besides that, it's a beautiful album with lots of twists and turns. 3/5
  10. Shaolin Wooden Men - Remember the Slime
  11. There's no way in hell I would pay full price for new Infected Mushroom material.
  12. Nice flow, good trackselection and mellow vibe. Good stuff!
  13. There's this great site called Google. According to rumours you can search the entire Internet for information: Google. The CD for sale at CDuniverse
  14. Please provide a direct link or directions, I'm not compatible with crappy hippy design.
  15. You can't forget about historical importance because if Are you shpongled? wasn't released then Phutureprimitve wouldn't have been released either.
  16. ugcds.com is/was run by backtoplastic.com. Maybe they could help you?
  17. The melody that is repeating over and over again for the first two minutes...

I can stretch my view and say that 1997 is a transition year, but 1998 is definitely psy-trance. In my opinion TIP Records Phosphorescent compilation (1996) marked the beginning (or mainstrem use) of psy-trance and the following death of goa trance. Check the compilations from 1997: Psynews compilation reviews 1997 The major labels all released psy-trance 1997: 3D, Airborn, Black Rhino, Funk, Let It Rip, Made On Earth, TIP Singles 1-2.
  19. Good tune, but I don't see how it's a remix of Gamma Goblins. AFAIK, it contains no elements from Hallucinogens tune besides the melody. The melody is from a piece of classical music called In the Hall of the Mountain King written by Edvard Grieg . But I guess more people will download something they recognize...

Goa trance was 1993-1996, there after it was psy-trance.
  21. Try Rude Ass Tinkers remix of Can't Touch This instead.
  22. I haven't heard too many Asia 2001 tunes, and the ones I've heard haven't really made me want to hear more. The free download from Avatars website is, imho, amateurish at best; flat production, strange melodic progression and just not very exciting. Could you Asia 2001 fans recommend me five or so essential tunes?
  23. What technology do you use when you compose your songs? Psy or Psychedelic?
