I wrote this in another thread some months ago: I would like the evolution to be less genre focused and more focused on psychedelic music. A mix of serious head music and light hearted extroverted groovy fun music would be lovely. My dream party would be a blend of deep house, techno, psy-trance and the new interpretations of samba, tango and jazz. People gathering to enjoy the borderless psychedelic music experience, rather then the genre specific psychedelic trance experience.

The first half of the album is really good as it explores the same territory as the Lex Rex Perplex / Errorhead single, the single is better though. The second half of the album is just filler material. Overall, a half finished album and big disappointment.

Nystagmus' debut album The Immaculate Perception is Infected Mushroom's brilliant Classical Mushroom album reinvented for 2005. It's good old melodic psychedelic trance, not groundbreaking, and a bit too reminescent of the original. If Nystagmus were to develop his own style then future releases could prove to be excellent. As of now I can't help but feel that I've heard it before. Besides that, it's a beautiful album with lots of twists and turns. 3/5
