  1. Thanks for sharing, Ale, really great input, I'll make sure to note your preference. There it is: Ale prefers goa trance over progressive psy-trance.
  2. I'm looking for mixes from the golden era of psy-trance, 1995-1999. I already have a lot of the official releases by the big names so now I'm looking for mixes by the not so big names. So far I've found some really good mixes: DJ Lumo - Nirbubg DJ Lumo - Sudden Human Instances Jens M - Hail the Fluffies (No longer available online, afaik) There must be tons of good mixes out there, so please reply with a link to your favorit old school psy-trance mixes. The quality should be 128 kbps or higher.
  3. A great showcase of the often overlooked talent of O.O.O.D. The opening tune, "Just a Ride" by Voice of Cod, is stunning. Don't miss this mix!
  4. Great mix! The track selection is close to perfect. I don't like the ambient intro and outro, something a bit darker, maybe some breaks, would have worked better with the overall atmosphere. Besides that, you've done a great job. This is just the kind of progressive psy-trance I like; deep, melodic, bass driven and very atmospheric. The transition between tracks is very subtle and there's a great flow. Looking forward to more mixes!
  5. Yeah, he fits perfectly in with the rest of us, drop the vinyls though.
  6. I agree, I have already ordered it, can't wait for it to arrive.
  7. Deep, trance inducing and an old school atmoshpere, very good! You should consider changing your artist name again though...
  8. Filteria - Sky Input Haltya - Forest Flavour Junior Boys - Last Exit V/A - Backroom Beats 2 Gang of Four - Entertainment Tord Gustavsen Trio - The Ground Astral Projection - Amen Cliff Martinez - Solaris Bloc Party - Silent Alarm Vatos Locos - Attack and Release
  9. I'm here to get an idea of what's worth getting these days, but sometimes it turns out to be a waste of time.
  10. I was only asking for people to think twice before posting, that's all. If they still find that their "i agree" reply is of general interest then by all means push that button.
  11. No, Ganesh is the one with the Fredrik t-shirt and the Transformer is the Carl fan.
  12. How do you expect me to know if a post is useless if I haven't read it? I have only asked people to think twice before posting, that's all, no fascism, just a practical tip that could save us all some time. Yes, that's an option, another option is to start a topic about useless posts and have a constructive discussion and raise the level of the posts further.
  13. Well, it's a waste of time, ain't that a bad thing?
  14. It's about the general and reviews section of this psy-trance forum. It fits better here than it does in the off-topic section. You may remember that we've had discussions about the pros and cons of forum based reviews and database reviews in the general section of this forum.
  15. It doesn't add anything to the topic. I don't care if you've just ordered a new cd, get back when you've listened to it and can give some usefull comments. That's not asking for too much is it?
  16. No, it's on topic since it concerns the general and reviews section of this forum.
  17. Posts like: -Exactly -I agree -Great tune -I don't like it either -Looking forward to x -Can't wait -Just ordered mine Etc
  18. ...before posting. There are a lot of useless posts that we could all do without. Thanks.
  19. Dado's and Oliver Lieb's remixes of Hallucinogen's "LSD".
  20. I wouldn't call it gay, but most Yahel covers are really stupid:
  21. Look for Hux Flux tunes pre Cryptic Crunch, that's the golden age of Hux Flux. Cryptic Crunch is more of a Hux Flux vs Logic Bomb album, full of the Örebro forest party sound of that time (think Tales from the Forest compilation). The tunes pre Cryptic Crunch are made by Dennis Tapper alone and are very melodic and twisted, excellent stuff really. Look for: Time Slices Perceptor Reflux Snickesnack Degauss You won't be disappointed. The Lex Rex Perplex / Errorhead single after Cryptic Crunch is also very good.
  22. Yahel is off topic, please delete.
  23. He could be inspired to do something completely different.
