Dado's and Oliver Lieb's remixes of Hallucinogen's "LSD".

I wouldn't call it gay, but most Yahel covers are really stupid:

Look for Hux Flux tunes pre Cryptic Crunch, that's the golden age of Hux Flux. Cryptic Crunch is more of a Hux Flux vs Logic Bomb album, full of the Örebro forest party sound of that time (think Tales from the Forest compilation). The tunes pre Cryptic Crunch are made by Dennis Tapper alone and are very melodic and twisted, excellent stuff really. Look for: Time Slices Perceptor Reflux Snickesnack Degauss You won't be disappointed. The Lex Rex Perplex / Errorhead single after Cryptic Crunch is also very good.

Yahel is off topic, please delete.

He could be inspired to do something completely different.

Yes, it would be very good if it was a debut release, but it isn't. Keep in mind that it's a release by the veterans of our scene, and they bring nothing new or exciting, except maybe Tristan.

Well, of course!

Haven't you people learned anything of the Uns2 delays??? It's more likely the new Shpongle album will be released November 5th, 2005 then May 11th, 2005. I hope I'm wrong though...

Oscar and Lost and Profund are indeed really good, but two tunes are not enough to label it interesting, at least not in my book. All the Posford collaborations where huge dissapointments, especially the Metal Sharon tune, really lame.

I have 650-700 cds. Most of it is psy-trance, although various styles of electronic music is constantly growing larger. I'm actually buying less psy-trance these days then other kinds of music. The best cd storage so far is: http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/serv...104*10173*10514 combined with: http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/serv...104*10173*10514

These days I always listen (read download) to the music before I buy anything, there's just too much crap out there, and unfortunately UnS2 wasn't that interesting.

I first sort by genre: psy-trance, ambient/downtempo, mixed eletronic (idm, lounge, etc), jazz, pop/rock, folk music, classical, punk Since my psy-trance collection is quite big I sort the albums from a-z and the compilations are order by label and catalog number. Psy-trance and psy-ambient are separated. I find that ordering compilations by label is more effective then ordering from a-z. For example, most of the time I recall some good tune, but can't remember the name of the compilation it was released on, but I do remember the label.

This has got to be the cheesiest crap ever! Spiritual Healing was tolerable, but this is beyond acceptable. The production is so amateurish and plain bad it's unbelievable. He's actually using lame synthesized acustic instruments, just listen to the piano on the intro of "El Alma Escondida". This album should never have been released. There are indeed some good melodic elements and atmospheres, but the overall chessy vibe and poorly balanced kick and basslines make this album unlistenable. If an experienced producer was allowed to work with Muses Rapt there might be a handful of really good tunes, but as it is now it's just bad, very very bad.

NEW PLANET B.E.N. ALBUM "FULL ON"
Trolsk replied to PLANET B.E.N. RECORDS's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
The low sales could also be caused by: - too many labels and hence too many releases - loose of diversity and creativity (clone music by clone artists on clone labels) - crap releases from crap labels -
While you're at it try Eraser vs Yöjalka - Tarinat.

I'm sure you're going to love these: Monolake - Interstate Monolake - Cinemascope Pitch Black - Electronomicon

Etnica - Sharp - Solstice 2004 It has been nine years since Etnica released their first album, "The Juggeling Alchemists Under The Black Light", on High Society. Back then their sound was quite stripped down and simple. Nine years later I can’t help but feel reminded of that first album. I’ve always liked Etnica/Pleiadians/Crop Circles. While most people think they have degraded, I think they have evolved. The first Etnica album is a typical debut, kind of scetchy, but full of potential. That potential is maximized in “Alien Protein” and of course Pleiadians “IFO”. The following album, “Equator”, tries a new more experimental direction and succeeds. From then on it’s a some what bumpy ride with fewer members, but still a high quality sound, although too minimal at times. Now, the evolution of Etnica has come full circle. Imagine the sound of their “Chrome” album crossed with melodies and you’ve got “Sharp”. It’s not the blasting melodies of the “Alien Protein” or “IFO” though, but rather a revisit of their first album. The heavy basslines, sound fx and trippy melodies are a great combination, and a mix I’ve been hoping for a long time. There are some fillers namely “Inner Space” and “BAS”. These two songs feel like left overs from the “Chrome” era. The melody progression in the album is overall quite simple, but it works in the stripped down and bass heavy environment in which their executed. Among the plastic clones and presets of 2004 “Sharp” stand out as deep melodic journey and dare I say nostalgic? Highlights: Automatik, Eros, Sharp, Photonik

Great! I thought his debut album showed a lot of potential, but in the end it sounded to dry. Looking forward to future releases from Talpa.

Todays most disappointing old school artist is of course Infected Mushroom.
