  1. More music for the Matrix-techno-rave-computer-nerd-teens.
  2. Yes, but then he's dressed in space tribe spandex, a tip hood and shouts "take dmt..dmt..dmt" in the microphone, no wait, that's the other guy, Rudolf Ram.
  3. I like the Green House Effect album a lot, and I wouldn't consider it selling out. Keep in mind that he used a new artist name for a sound that was completely different from his Sandman music. According to the rumours no label has been willing to release Sandman's new music, just as with the Chi-AD album.
  4. Metal Spark released their Corrosive album on Blue Room. Btw, if you like Metal Spark you should try Sibilant, it's one of their aliases. They released an album on Symbiosis called Proper Filth. Two great albums.
  5. I forgot two really good funky releases: Koxbox - The Great Unknown (essential!!!) Eraser vs. Yojalka - Tarinat
  6. http://www.groversmith.com/
  7. Lots of people have been a part of Slinky Wizard but never Mark Allen as far as I know: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Slinky+Wizard
  8. I would recommend: Haltya - Electric Help Elves Maskalin - Way of Life Squaremeat will probably do the trick too. About the second track on the Electric Safari compilation, that's Electric Tease: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Electric+Tease Btw, Tim Healey used to work with Mark Allen as Quirk. As Quirk they released one of the best psy-trance albums: Machina Electrica & Fornax Chemica
  9. This is not to be confused with psychedelic trance, it's Skazi techno rave music for the computer nerd teens dreaming of being Neo in the Matrix and sneaking out from mom and dad to go to their first illegal underground techno rave party. Don't worry they will grow up.
  10. I like Out of Sight quite a lot. It's very deep and warm.
  11. Yellow Magnetic Star - Son of the Light
  12. Well, I would not call all of them masterpieces but they are very good and probably unknown to a lot of people: Nervasystem & Aether - The Mama Matrix Most Mysterious Yellow Magnetic Star - Son of the Light Nuclear Ramjet - Music for Spaceports OOOD - Breathing Space Shaolin Wooden Men - Supermindway Ubar Tmar - True Aeon - Transe Modulaire
  13. Three old and great releases: Metal Spark - Corrosive Sibilant - Proper Filth V/A - Elastic - 21-3 Records Something new: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=21919&hl=
  14. They're not psychedelic enough to remix a cool tune like Ghost busters. Haltya could probably do something good though.
  15. Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams remixed by Tarsis
  16. You haven't really missed anything. The first movie is ok, but could have been great if they focused on criticism of our current consumer society, but they decided to focus on the action instead. Poor choice.
  17. There are no perfect Matrix samples.

    Oforia

I love Delirious and if the new album is "his old style but with modern production" then I will be very happy! About the other Oforia albums, well, I haven't liked any of them.
  19. Full-On: Misted Muppets - From The Legend Goa-Trance: Filteria - Sky Input Progressive: Son Kite - Colours Downtempo: Bluetech - Elementary Particles Other: Haltya - Electric Help Elves
  20. James Monroe has an upcoming album on Candyflip Records: http://www.candyflip-records.com/
  21. Yes, there's a tune called that on the FREq album, but there's also a group called Carbon Based Lifeforms, and that's what we're talking about here.
  22. Umm, we've been discussing Darshan's both albums in this thread and Phased Transition is on the Spectra album so...
  23. Psy-trance is dead in the regard that ground breaking releases are very rare. Measured in absolute numbers and combining all subgenres of psy-trance we do get good (non-ground breaking) releases, but combining the total number of releases in a year we do get relative few good releases. At the moment most of the sub-genres are just refining their formula, some even to death (neo-full on). The number of labels and artists is too big, and that's probably why we get a lot of safe releases (read the same shit over again). The scene is not big enough to support all these labels and artists. Therefor bankrupts might not be bad. The artists also have a responsibility, they can't release the same tune over and over again. Then again, if you're a die hard psy-trancer and you're not happy with the current situation of the scene, then do something about it.
