  1. Artists that dare to progress and evolve (with grace), some that come to mind are: Hallucinogen/Shpongle, Cosmosis, Doof, Shaolin Wooden Men, Darshan, Deedrah, Delta, Juno Reactor, Etnica, Son Kite, Ubar Tmar, Koxbox, Deedrah Some artists that do not fit this description would be: Space Tribe, Infected Mushroom, Yahel, Electronic Universe, GMS, Space Cat, Talamasca, Oforia
  2. These movies are as non-commercial as: Infected Mushroom GMS Skazi Vibe Tribe Astrix Sub 6 1200 Mics Most of the movies you list are by well established writers, directors, producers and actors... Some old punk wisdom: do it yourself. If you don't like what the labels release these days, then set up your own label and release the music you like. It's as simple as that. Tons of respect to Mars and Anoebis for starting their own label just to release the Filtera album. That's the kind of spirit that will reinvent psychedelic trance, not the return of Transwave, Hallucinogen, Astral Projection or MFG.
  3. Dumbass blond girl? Welcome to the 21th centurary.
  4. Vibe Tribe – Melodrama – Utopia Records 2004 I had not heard of Vibe Tribe until everyone started to talk about “Albert Balbert”. I downloaded the “Timeless” compilation (download, evaluate, buy or delete) and was greeted by the usual israeli presets. The “Albert Balbert” tune caught my attention though. It had this goa vibe; melodies, samples and story. Since then I’ve been waiting for their upcoming album. The album unfortunately turned out to be yet another Infected Mushroom clone. I love melodies, but this is just too boring and simple. If you like Infected Mushrooms recent albums I’m sure you’ll love this one though. My advise: try Misted Muppet’s “From the Legend” instead.

    Filteria - Sky Input

Filteria - Sky Input - Suntrip Records 2004 - SUNCD01 This album has unjustly been compared to the Pleiadians masterpiece album ”IFO”. I say unjustly because it sets the expectations too high. Keep in mind that the excellence of “IFO” came after two Etnica albums and numerous Etnica/Pleiadians/Crop Circles singles and several years in the scene as one of the cutting edge acts of it’s time. Filteria’s “Sky Input” album is the first album from Jannis. To compare a debut album from this one guy to the condensed experience that is the Pleiadians “IFO” album will make anyone disappointed. This is not a new “IFO”, this is Filteria’s “Sky Input”, appreciate it as such and ye shall be happy with it. The album is a lovely reminder that goa trance can still be made. Yes, this is goa trance! A lot of albums have claimed to be just that in the past years but most of them have sounded simple, cliched and plain stupid. This is an exception though. From the first tune to the last we’re served a sound that draws influences from old school heroes such as Etnica, Pleiadians and Dimension 5; fast paced, melodic, swirling, cosmic, ego dissolving trance for short. What I miss in this album are some twisted elements. It’s too straight forward at times, but this is a debut album, and as such there’s always room for improvement. Filteria’s “Sky Input” album is one of the most exciting albums of 2004, not because it’s the best, but because it’s a reminder of what the most mindbending sound on planet earth used to be like. If you’ve ever “been there and back” be prepeared for massive flashbacks and a huge grin all over your face! Highly recommended album. Highlights: Operation Pulse, Domestic Modulator, Galactic Rays, Sky Input
  6. I'm really glad this forum is back online, because it's a lot better than Isratrance. Although there are more reviews at Isratrance, most of the review replies are by people who say they will buy some album, have already ordered it or are looking forward to listen to it; meaning 80% av the replies are totally useless. Then there's tons of people who claim that the most generic release is the best ever...
  7. How much would the shipping to Europe be for say 4-5 cds?
  8. I have a copy of Vacuum Tube on CD (perfect condition) if anyone is interested in trading. Message me privately.
  9. Shpongle vs The Heathens (aka Hedningarna) Simon Posford vs Bjork Aphex Twin vs Texas Faggott Blue Planet Corporation vs Jaia ...and more Beast tunes!
  10. "Ralph? The time has come...to go out of your mind. Are you ready, Ralph? Are you ready to die and be reborn?" The sample is very long and this excerpt is from the beginning of the tune. It's Timothy Leary speaking to (I asume) Ralph Metzner. The tune in question is minimal and very dark and deep, the atmosphere fits the sample perfectly. I would like to know what track it is and if possible the source of the sample.
  11. This is indeed one of the classic albums from that period. It has that special Koyote style of weirdness: twisted and insane but always with a touch of melody. Those were the days...
  12. The bassline in "Towards the Castle" by Misted Muppets. It's one of those basslines that go round and round in a beautiful infinite loop. Love it! Something a bit more classic would be the bassline in The Deltas "Thing".
  13. Shamanic Trance (Return to the Source) mixed by Tsuyoshi Suzuki. Cutting edge psychedelic trance! Tracklist: 01. The Acid Didj - Number 5 02. Kallish - Higher (Bamboo Mix) 03. Parasonix - Warp Phaze 04. The Visitors - Reality Check 05. Metal Spark - Digital Dent 06. Vector - Phantom Cart 07. Der Dritte Raum - Trommelmaschine 08. Massimo Vivona - Ascent 09.
