well, the series finale of the best show ever made was last friday (of course im not going to spoil anything) and now i dont know what to do until june when the next 2hr special airs anyway, i just thought this series needed a thread here. anyone else see the finale? i think im going to watch it all again from the beginning, its just that good

a brief follow up: i havent actually listened to dune since i was around 17 (im 26 now), and i didnt actually watch the youtube vid before i posted; i was just looking for the first dune clip that was for the band and not shai hulud. im about 8 beers tonight and just watched the vid. i literally--not kidding--almost vomited. fucking awful. edit: wtf is wrong with germany edit 2: blumchen just made me jizz in my pants

yeah, riget is the original title; however i found the american release as "the kingdom" at a borders (its a large chain of bookstores) and i think its on amazon as well. there's also a sequel, riget II which was impossible to find on dvd for a long time but apparently has been reissued. im a huge fan of both and of lars von trier in general...

i would definitely recommend the yes minister and yes prime minister series if you like dry british humor and if you have an interest in politics. it can get a bit boring at times but personally i love it. a great comedy i saw recently was called 'noise' -- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0425308/ -- about an obsessive new yorker who is driven mad by car alarms and becomes something of an anti-noise crusader. its not slapstick and its actually a very intelligent movie.

hey hey and happy holidays to you all. im looking for goa or psy that's primarily composed on a game boy or original NES. ive been listening to a lot of chiptunes lately (bitshifter ftw) and i think the game boy's 'sound palette' would make for some interesting trance music.

im inclined to agree with you on that, i was using floola with my 3rd gen ipod but i didnt realize there was a third-party manager compatible with the ipod touch. anyway it turned out my problem was trying to load one of the 0kb failed downloads; i loaded the proper one this morning and rocked it on the bus. thanks again for the heads up on this... :posford:

yeah, this stuff is wicked. i really dont listen to enough dubstep, although ive been getting some nifty dubstep tracks through the pandora ipod touch app; the shitty thing is i cant get itunes to sync this mix to said ipod touch for some reason....

IMO drugs like ritalin, adderall, or speed are great for learning how to use the software, but ive had terrible results actually trying to make music on them.
