  1. that's what i'd call a quarter-time smoker i wouldn't expect any adverse effects on health if one can keep his smoking habit to 2 cigarettes daily.
  2. what are you looking for, more the old genre-defining fullon classics or the new stuff (supposing you know the former already)?
  3. here's a short update: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h085shKgHs&list=PLDCB949174FAAE814&index=10 these were my favourite post-ozzy albums back then when i was totally into sabbath. to be honest i remember the vocals a bit less cheesy and "80s sounding"
  4. there are so many. Shakta - Lepton Head (Deedrah Rmx) Shakta - Micronesia Logic Bomb - Drop Out Hiscore - Identify Dimension 4 - Iron Sun (Rmx) Cybernaut - Hydrophonix Darshan - Energy Trace E-Mantra - Praying Forest Miranda - Gnocchi Psychonauts - Shadows of the Moon Talamsca - The Old School and that's just a small selection that doesn't even contain the really obvious ones like pleiadians, artha and of course filteria. also agneton if you're into nitzho.
  5. indeed. goaway>>granada (even if i still enjoy granada).
  6. whats up with all that fast and light metal in here? take this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GgBx7Y0aso
  7. they're both good for different purposes. overall i'd say i prefer the 98 remix, but i like the synth patch on the melody (6:30 in the rmx; f# f d# f c ?) in the original much more than in the remix.
  8. yeah, that one is more like it (although a bit too energetic imho). still nothing comes close to pathfinder in that respect. in the "right" mix pathfinder can be outright depressing. edit: also i'd like to add morphem - hypnotone. it's playing here right now and totally fits the thread
  9. yea, nice idea. but not going to happen. there's more money to be made by selling another whole phone if one component breaks.
  10. oldschool enough for me. so, hey astral, bring on one whole album of original stuff like that!
  11. these two + blacklight moments when filteria is out. iirc 3 is the magic number for the maximum percentage of the price going to suntrip and the minimum going to the postal company
  12. thanks for the info richpa and mars. i knew the financial situation was bad for the labels, but didn't realize it was that bad. looks like the whole of psynews should meet up and rob a bank, so that we can finance our addiction to great music
  13. i just found a version with english subtitles. still the humor is very... german (concerning the country, not the language)... so i'm not sure if it's worth your time. i have no idea why i watched it again, i'd rather say: it's definitely not worth your time btw: i'd not translate "pappen" as "cardboard", but rather as "hits of acid".
  14. i had hoped you'd say that it wasn't good at all and i hadn't missed anything a real adventure . i only remember sneaking through the woods and bushes to get into parties, where the police blocked the entrances in hopes of shutting the party down. getting there was half the fun
  15. yeah, totally frustrating! 5 tracks in 30 days, holy shit. you work like lightning. i'm happy if i finish half a track in 30 days what worked for me was relaxing, then working in a different environment meeting lots of new people. travelling ime also seems to be a great source of inspiration.
  16. interesting. i have also been out of inspiration the last half year and simply copied other music to relieve my urge for knob twisting, but now the creative juices are seeminly flowing again
  17. indeed. actually, imho this cd contains the worst D5 track ever, phoenix, which is just okay and pales in comparison to mighty intastella, blue pyramid, ganymede, ... so yes, it does certainly say something about an arist if the worst track is "just okay" btw: i thought you weren't doing pics anymore? you dug up a nice one here
  18. nice one. you can hear the distinct styles of both of you and they harmonise excellently.
  19. cool. the samples sound great, which is unusual for me. filteria's music normally gets a lot better with repeated listens. food demons seems to be more KOB stuff than filteria, but i have noticed the two merging into one with the latest compilation tracks. doesn't dog days sound a bit like chakra & edi mis - liquid troll? but regardless, as far as i can tell it sounds better anyway
  20. this one's also my favourite. closely followed by athalon.
