Must agree here I find all of these bands boring & repetitive. I like psy cuz it has a build up & layers while this stuff seems montone. Having said that I do like a couple prodigy songs. As for other electronic artists I'd say skinny puppy, front line assembly & kmfdm who are more metal then electronic now but back in the day were very electric.

5 Most Influential Psy-Trance Acts of All-Time
Indred Cold replied to Empty Space's topic in General Psytrance
Yeah I know what you mean empty I did like T.O.T.I. I just thought it was too world musicy for me. I was hoping for a more electronic feel & I didn't like all the singing. I like the vocals on DMT & I hope they have more like that on the new one. My favorite song on T.O.T.I. is shpongle eyes cuz it's the most like their 1st cd. It's just a mtter of taste. -

I'd agree with that for the most part although I haven't heard alot of x-dream so I will sub that for shpongle. Oh & empty you forgot the DMT single & remixed album bith of which i like more than tales of the inexpressable. -
Same here must be a NA thing & shpongle kicks ass.

So where exactly is this? I see the 2 hours north of vancouver but could you be more specific?

Indred Cold replied to hujaboy's topic in General Psytrance
The 1st thing that comes to mind is hallucinogen - horrogram. Very intense. -
Now I've never been to a real party cuz the scene here died before I got into psy But I'd go at 11-11:30 why not. Sure it'll be crowded at first but probably would of paid $30-45 may as well get my moneys worth.

Elysium / Elysium Project / Holm & Andersen Mixes
Indred Cold replied to a topic in General Psytrance
Well EP after listening to the 1st & 3rd mixes I must say not bad. House isn't really to my taste though. I prefer the sound variation & the build ups of psy myself. House & regular trance seem to plain & repetitive for me although your stuff is definatley among the best I've heard so far. To each his own I guess. I did download a couple other dark psy mixes experi-mental & abyss which were both awesome. Very good. -

Spam!! Spam!! jk Thanks EP I've been curious to hear your sound dlowding.. -
Was it the original or the orgy cover. I know the orgy version has like 3 different remixes.

Well I've haven't been to a real party yet but I'd say forest. There is this 1 park at the base of knox mountain that woul be cool to have a very small party in. All the trees are planted symmetrically & look the same. It looks just like the scene in mortal kombat where jonny cage fought scorpion. But if it was bigger & actually not in town it would kick ass.

Last 5: 1)hallucinogen - horrogram 2)bloodbath - funeral furnace(metal) 3)nile - lashed to the slave stick(metal) 4)behemoth - slaves shall serve(metal) 5)shpongle - the seventh revealation -
Not bad I agree with the tip influence but the middle songs sound too similar IMO Few questions: 1) I'm assuming this is a mix since I'm 98% sure the first track is gamma goblins which leads to 2 2) why split the songs up instead of making it 1 file? 3)why use wma instead of mp3? 4) why zip it with winzip & only 96kb/ps? 5) no tracklist? (I know it's coming)

Indeed.

Damn $15 is cheap. Too bad I only live like 9800 miles away.
