  5. what is channel reciever ?! and/or a reciever !?
  6. so i got a sick subwoofer for free from a friend ( Infinity BU1 ) it looks like this on the back i have 4 speakers (well 5, but i'm not going to use the center speaker). i thought i could connect the speakers directly to the sub as i thought my sub has a built in amp, but i just tried it and it didn't work. i downloaded the manual for my sub and it suggests few ways to set the system up, including and i don't have an amp, so i guess the 2nd option doesn't make any sense since i have to get an amp and a preamp... NOW, i need help to find a good, cheap amp. what are the important things that i should know before buying an amp? i'd most probably try to find a 2nd hand amp... and one more question. with the 1st option where i use the amp, how can i connect it to 4 speakers instead of 2? thanX for your help :drama:
  7. i gave this album 4 or 5 listens including one critical listen which was the only time i listened to the whole album without falling sleep. very relaxing, but (at least for me) also very forgettable...i do remember that i liked the first track, but can't remember any other tracks. it's a nice album but definitely not the best from Somnia.
  8. google knows it all http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xe1n_karahana-ganey-huga
  9. i do the same....how can you figure out whether a beatless album worth buying or not by a 30 seconds sample !??! still klaus schulze ! Liquid Stranger - The Invisible Conquest in few minutes
  10. Klaus Schulze - Sequenzer (From 70 To 07)
  11. click on the cover art np. Gel Sol - Unifactor edit. 27, 5/5 ratings !??!

  13. great review abasio... i absolutely love this album, very trippy. for me it's the best from somnia (haven't heard !Escape Kit! yet).
  14. it all started with Pink Floyd (Meddle, Animals, Dark Side of the Moon) and Eloy (Floating, Inside, Ocean) then I got more into Krautrock with likes, Grobschnitt, Jane, Omega, Ash Ra Temple, Tangerine Dream and then Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze got me hooked to electronic music, but all i could find was euro trance/house until i got a batch of MP3s including Shpongle, Bluetech, Entheogenic... and this was the beginning of my addiction! today, if i don't listen to music it clearly affects my mood kindda scary
  15. i'm gonna see them live in december. won't listen to their album till then most probably i won't like the new album so it's better to hear it live for the first time !
  16. Ishq-Timelapse In Mercury very relaxing, very spacey. i need to give it few more listens to completely dig all the details. for me it's not as good as Orchid, and not as good as Colourform - Visions Of Surya either but still one of the better releases this year Easily Embarrassed - Idyllic Life (Cardamar Music) a very nice melodic psy dub. i don't know what other project i should compare this with...taken from their myspace: "Focusing on noisy atmospheres, glitched beat work, psy-dub, acoustic elements and often ambitious synth work, we believe in diversity and freedom of sound."
  17. i know what you are talking about. i went to a week and half vacation without music once, and listening to music after that gap was pure bliss...
  18. very nice... can't wait to hear Warrior On The Edge Of Time !!!
