  1. I would choose everyone but if i have to priorizate the order would be: 1º- good music 2º- extremely loud soundsytem (i'm quite deaf ) 3º- TONS of alcohol. In my country a party without alcohol isn't a party, is a meeting 4º- friendly people Drugs, deco, nice place, displays, vj's, etc are bonus, but are important too.
  2. It's really hard to explain but let's try. I belive music is the expression of the soul, it's energy so it belongs to the inner realm, i mean the feelings. Religion and politics are very important in life but not as much as the feelings because they are external factors. Music must be over good and evil, over external factors in fact, because it's one of the few things that can make feel the same emotions with independence of your race, sex, religion or political ideology, and we should preserve this. If somebody uses music to spread religious or political ideologies is prostituting such powerful, pure and neutral tool. On the opposite i think it's really valid to use music for denouncing unfair situations but never through political or religious ideologies because who am i to instil my thougts to other people. I just can share and discuss them but nothing else. Dogma shows a critical and even ironic point of view from religion but doesn't spread any ideology and this is ok for me. Maybe i didn't expressed myself properly but this is not my language and it's hard to me communicate complex opinions. I'll take care about this. PD: in spanish is ''silencioso bob''. I picked it because he's a freaky (and sometimes misunderstood ) metalhead. Cheers
  3. Seraph, i replyed because i wouldn't expected this from you. Your points of view and your topics are so interesting and this surprised me badly. Doesen't matter, it's your taste, but you should know there's a lot of extreme bands that don't propagate satanism, death and this things so boring for me too (i don't understand the singers so i don't care about the lyrics ). I think that religion and politics must not get mixed with music. Never. It's so simple as saying that trance, techno or house music it's just for druggy people. Very superficial view. I respect your opinion but i don't agree with you. Best regards
  4. How many DEATH metal bands have you heard? I'm not trying to convince you that you must like it but it's pretty funny to me listening that. Do you play guitar? in that case, how many death metal riffs can you play? Death metal music has an incredible composition and structuration complexity and there are LOADS of amazing guitarrists in this genre. Despite this fact i think it would be much more interesting to talk about the music you like in order to discover new sounds. When i like something nobody can change my mind and that's why this is a useless topic. There are a lot of artists/genres that make me throw up but i can't expect to convince people of how bad is the music they listen to (for example the eternal topic: full on is crap and goa is amazing), but instead of that you can expect to show them how wonderful is what you listen to. In short way, create not destroy. Respect
  5. This would be incredible for me. Also death metal riffs over dark psy trance tunes would be massive (still looking for it). As someone said, psy trance with IDM could be great. What do you think about a Xenomorph vs Squarepusher (if you consider it IDM) tune? total madness i guess
  6. yes, i would like it for sure. Perhaps Astrix vs Crossfire
  7. I like very much this title too but i think i don't know what does it mean exactly. Does it refers to somebody or something in the psytrance scene? May be i should ask him (i heard he lives now in Barcelona)
  8. What is the hardstyle? Hardcore, Speedcore, i mean Thunderdome and this stuff? Thanx
  9. Ok. Very interesting. I'm getting into PSY since a few years ago and i see that most people experienced on trance music preffers GOA than PSY, most of the releases at least. I think it could be great a post (if it doesn't exists already, and if it does could you tell me where is it?) explaing the differences between GOA and PSY, but true style/production/technic differences, not just the magic or the feeling that everybody talks about. You could also add some reviews of the indispensable albums to understand what is GOA. This could be a nice tool for newcommers like me who want to learn as much as possible from more experienced people. Nobody close to me listen to GOA music so it's difficult to discover it and i think that there could be people in the same situation. What do you think about this?
  10. I'm looking for the title of a psy track wich has an Speedy Gonzalez sample that says something like: ''andale, andale, arriba, arriba, yeeeeha'' just in the breakdown. Last year i went to the Sun Rite Festival and there a freak guy gave me a cd mixed by himself (Goanoa is the title) and it has this track in there. Very funny tune. Thanx a lot.
  11. I'd also like to know the name of the track with the Robb Flynn sample. Thanks. Regards.
