  1. You do realize people very often do provide links to buy the record and in those links you can find samples. With these samples and the words it should be clear what to expect. Not all of us produce this music, so it is hard to go into professional detail on the production. Also reviews are made by individuals, it is their opinion and not a technical instruction. T2MU's reviews have to those pictures because he want's the reviews to be entertaining too in which they definitely succeed at. Don't like it? Don't have to read it. Noone here gets paid to do these reviews, they do it for the fun of it.
  2. Even though both are brilliant, Subliminal Melancholies is consistent throughout whereas Sweet Sadness has some moments not up to par imo.
  3. Talk about a complete u-turn. You went from posting like someone on acid to actually posting something that is interesting and mannerly written with even offering some help to others. I personally do enjoy reading stories from back then since I never experienced the old scene and it is nice to have some that share their stories. Cheers.
  4. What are these schedules you are talking about I actually kind of liked the clips, here's to hoping it will have goa flavours all over.
  5. Oh hell, that is awesome! Downloading now. M-Run is so sick. An album of his would could be groundbreaking based on Goat Man and Mind bug. I don't want to wait! Edit: I retract that! It WILL be ground breaking. Just listen to these well developed melody explosions. Goddamn.
  6. They still count in the 2000's releases though, I see no reason not to include if you think they'd be good enough Re-releases on the other hand, maybe not, but DAT records releases unreleased which is a whole different story. Likewise you can't vote DAT in a 90's poll since they weren't released back then. Koxbox was 99 btw http://www.discogs.com/Koxbox-The-Great-Unknown/master/29038 To be honest I'm really surprised to see so few mention Tetrahedron overall, o well.
  7. "The page cannot be found" on every single one of them :/
  8. Can someone put up any mokk tracks on youtube? I want to hear that.
  9. New DigiCult? The last album was the most solid predictable melodic full-on album possibly ever. That may sound bad with a word like predictable but actually it is not, at all. Definitely looking forward to this. I hope the sound hasn't changed too much.
  10. Edit: I decided to make this a thread where you can contribute links to official album artwork or other official psytrance artwork. Non-official are things like shops that just sell psychedelic looking things, but aren't featured along with the music/label/artist. Old Post: I got interested in looking up buggy g riphead because he made some of the best artwork ever in the goa scene and I saw this http://www.fotosearch.com/IST510/911-082-04/ which is from http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=253579 Man I'd love to actually order that thing but the price is ridiculously high! You guys know anything else like this? The only alternative for bigger artwork is buying LP's but that's about it. Anyone know anywhere where old school posters and whatnot could be found or is that something you will only stumble upon with luck?
  11. I was finally listening to the old 96 mix and the only unreleased track is so massive @ 1:14:00 "I'm Shocked (Unreleased)" http://soundcloud.com/uvantam/live-odessay-shizuoka-izu-ootaki-land-19960420 Absolutely shocked it never was released. Sick track! Also one of the new tracks was released on this album "Space sports armageddon" http://www.junodownload.com/products/nogerans-star-adventure/1643753-02/?trackid=2

    .

What gear do you use and how much did it cost you? I've always wanted to start photographing but good cameras are flipping expensive.
  13. No samples, mr buddha here just wanted to fool people. Though there was a new Pleiadians track last year on a compilation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqja1XamJtQ Not too bad actually. It's good in its own right, but it lacks the things I mentioned which makes it often seem more simplistic. It's also a lot more sunshiney and lacks darkness.
  14. This is very cool. I really want Ghost Story!
  15. Don't forget to write your thoughts on Erta Alé! Very interested in hearing everyone's opinion on it. I ordered Maybe I'll write a review for it since noone never has.

  17. Celestial Consciousness - Spiritual Antidote I'm so sad about the mastering. Amanians/ezel ebed should get it properly mastered and either sell it via beatport or give for free. One can hope...
  18. Yes you are actually acting like a troll for the past day. You are spamming nonsensical pictures/posts and trying to start arguments. Richpa was right on that one. Well as a listener I'll give you my reply. Even though new goatrance has the same exact type of production old goatrance did, the sound I find very different. I don't mean this as a negative to current goatrance artists, they are making great music but so far I've found only a couple of release really touch the magic of the 90s. The sound back then was certainly more trippy, psychedelic, experiemental and deep than it is today. At least that's how I see it. I like the terms old school and new school because it separates the two styles which are pretty distinct to me.
