  2. Colors Of Chaos may as well have been on a Suntrip compilation. Best track here, really good. It also shows a lot of premise of Red Gravitys talent. Mixdownfixdown is also a good. Otherwise I found this a little lacking, mostly feeling unfinished. The tracks are solid but don't really stand out, but since it's free who cares! Check it out if you haven't already.
  3. Some say it's a joke made by pavel. Others say it's not. Noone really knows, but whats for sure, he is dedicated.
  4. NHJO why is your CD price still 15 000 USD!? I want this killarhghggh but 15 000 USD is a lot of money!
  5. Really good stuff, you have some serious skill going by this. Are you planning on taking this to a new level and trying to release anything?
  6. I actually would not be surprised if a new one was coming in the near future.
  7. Never heard it before. I still have all of schlab on my backlog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb0wyyfqCa0

    Dead Space

I actually completely know what it's like to lose a forum like the old off-topic which was so very special for some of you. I used to be a part of a forum that some of the best times I've head while on the internetz, great community. Unfortunately it closed a few years ago and there is no other like it anywhere. At least you guys have a start, something it won't have.. I'd like to take this opportunity to remind people to read the rules http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?app=forums&module=forums&section=rules&f=2 "- No other psytrance forum criticism" Or in the upcoming revision as it's going to be "- Do not criticize other psytrance forums or institutions to make them appear in a bad light. We are a part of the whole thing and want to be a beneficial element to everybody in this scene. Elitism and such criticism are destructive and can not be tolerated." Let's just leave it at that.
  9. Best album of 2010! Everyone who hasn't gotten it or finds digipaks disappointing should get this one.
  10. 4.5 hours? I wonder if I'll ever find the time.
  11. Yeah it is, no idea about release though. One would assume hes coming up with an album this year since he's been so active promoting himself but no-one really knows anything. He has some other tracks for download on the soundcloud page thou.
  12. If you guys want to continue the discussion about smoking or the trance scene, make a thread in the appropriate section(s). This one is meant for reviewing the music. We've decided to remove offtopic posts since you guys didn't stop after the warning.

    Dead Space

If they hacked it because of what happened in offtopic then they got no reason to hack if it's gone. And it hasn't happened since, so I think he made the right call.

    Dead Space

You are saying like the site getting hacked wasn't a big deal. And I wouldn't say a revenge, more of a precaution. He knew the reason for the hack.
  15. Well I was deciphering his twitter and he posted this "My 1st album "Fusion" remastered and with bonus tracks in, and served in that delivery, the current board in 1997 purchased iTMS for reference. The previous version of the song because the CD is dirty seams with raw files. Clean up here, sound quality and volume also increase." Rerelease? Digital only? No idea..

    Dead Space

Then again the site died down as a result of that.

    Dead Space

Dead Space 1 was brilliant, DS2 was alright too To answer the question, yeah it's been slow for quite a while.
  20. For sale/ trade rules 1. This section is ONLY for selling ORIGINAL MATERIAL!!! Thus NO copies, no "unreleased killaaars" and especially NO MP3s!!! If people post topics for selling anything else than original material their post will be deleted ASAP and repeated such posts will result in permanent ban!!! 2. This is NOT a discussion section! Any discussions within sale/trade threads should be related directly to the transaction and nothing more. If you're not interested in buying or trading the item(s) in the thread, then don't post. If you want to know why a person is selling something, send a PM (private message) or e-mail them. If you think a sale is crooked or smells funny, report it. 3. This section is intended for personal use only. So commercial threads (mass sales by a shop, discount sales, etc.) and links to commercial sites (psyshop, etc.) are not allowed. 4. Since this section is for personal use, the owners of this site can not in any way be held responsible for any frauds that might be committed. So please double-check the seller BEFORE making the transaction. If something bad happens, there’s nothing much we can do about it except ban the fraudulent user… That’s why we advise caution, especially with people that just registered and haven’t posted anything on the other sections of this forum. There is also a Feedback subforum so that people can recommend/ warn about other buyers/ sellers they have been in contact with. It is advised you use it whenever you make a transaction so that other people know what to expect about the seller/ buyer. I will explain how the feedback system works in the Feedback subforum. 5. Even though this section is intended mainly for CDs/ Vinyls, you’re also welcome to trade other stuff (music gear, clothes, movies, software, etc.). Basically anything you want (psytrance-related or not) as long as it is ORIGINAL material (so I say it again: NO COPIES!!) 6. All ads are 100% free of charge, of course Guidelines on using this section These are general guidelines on how to post so this section would be user-friendly and easy to navigate through. With that in mind section "0." will be enforced, too many threads become cluttered like it states. 0. Use the original, first post for keeping track of the items and their prices you still have or have sold. A thread will become incredibly cluttered, if you keep updating on several posts, saying you still have this and this on one post and 8 posts later post something new, but never tell what have you actually sold and do you still have anything of the previous posts. So again, first post is the only place where you need to update item list. You can post things like "X item removed and X item added" but you must keep track of them in the first post. If you can't do this the thread will be locked. This is better for everyone involved. 1. Start your topic title with FS (For Sale), WTB (Want to Buy), FT (For Trade) or IC (Interest Call – this is for people who are hesitating to actually sell the item so they want to see if people are interested in it and at what price). So for example if you’re selling or want to trade Pleiadians – IFO your topic title should be “FS/ FT: Pleiadians –IFO”. This will make searching through the posts you want easier. 2. Clearly mention in your post: - The price (+ you can also mention “negotiable” or “non-negotiable”) - Preferred means of payment (ie. PayPal, Money order, etc.) - Place of the seller/ buyer (if you’re living in Australia and the buyer is in France then there might be problems with customs, currency conversions, etc. so might as well be aware of them from the beginning) - Shipping costs (+ you can also mention more than one ie. insured/ uninsured/ express/ UPS/…) - The STATE of the item you’re selling (ie. brand new, almost new, a few scratches, for parts, etc.) *DP's recomendations for grading the state of your records* SS (Still Sealed) - in factory fresh condition M (Mint) - Used only if the item is unsealed but otherwise unplayed. M- (Mint Minus) - A record which shows no obvious signs of wear. The sleeve has no more than minor defects such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of MINOR handling. VG+ (Very Good Plus) - even a superficial mark that doesn't affect play moves an otherwise M- record to VG+. Only well cared for records are graded VG+. Surfaces may have slight signs of wear or light scratches that don't effect listening quality. Minor cover wear is also acceptable. This grade should be sufficient to satisfy all but the most demanding collector. VG (Very Good) - a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and some surface noise, but still plays quite well. There might be a sticker or writing on label or sleeve or tape but not all of these problems. VG- (Very Good Minus) - more significant wear and marks and usually noticeable surface noise especially during quieter passages. G+ (Good Plus) - A record in this condition can be played without skipping although it will have significant surface noise, scratches and visible groove wear. A sleeve will have significant wear such as seam splits/tape/writing/ring wear. From here on down (Fair, Poor), records should be considered beat-up (read: unplayable). G (Good) - In the record collecting world, 'Good' does not really mean good! G is the lowest grade used. Records in this condition are marginal at best. 3. When you post a thread and noone replied, it will go down… so usually people simply reply in their own topic something like “BUMP” and eventually change the add a bit (describe the features better, lower the price, etc.) so that the thread will be up again. This is an accepted procedure but please don’t abuse it (ie. “bumping” your topic more than once every 2-3 days) 4. If you want to “hassle” (ie. interested in buying the proposed item but want to pay less than the asking price) then it is advised you PM (private message) or email the seller to discuss the “details”. And with this I on behalf of the Psynews crew wish you happy buying/ selling/ trading Rules that have been changed are marked in the color orange. Everything else is basically the same as it used to.
  21. Please read and respect these rules/guidelines before posting new reviews. 1. Please use the appropriate release year before posting . If you're posting in a "multiple year" thread (ie. 1990-1994) then specify the release year in the thread title. 2. If you’re an artist / label that wants to promote a new release please use the “Promos” group and not this one! ANY promos found in the reviews section will be moved and the one responsible for it warned. 3. This section is for psytrance reviews and psytrance related genres reviews. If you want to discuss the best releases this year, what albums should be considered “classics”, the reviews section layout, the quality of reviews, the latest Tool release, want to request a review, etc. etc., then please use the General or Off-Topic sections of the forum! This is intended for psytrance music and subgenres so no reviews of parties or other music genres. A bigger tolerance will be allowed for old stuff (stuff released before 96) since back then there wasn't an "official definition" of psytrance. Also chillout/ambient genres are allowed as per usual. 4. Before posting a new review, check if a review of the album hasn’t already been written. If it’s the case then write your review in the already existing thread and do NOT open a new one! Finding older topics should be easy, use the “Search” function: type part or the whole album title and don’t forget to limit the search to the subforum of the year you want to post in. If you're starting a new thread for a compilation then you should ALWAYS write the title under the format : "V/A - Name of comp". So that all the compilations will be easier to find. So do NOT start a topic with "VA" (no "/" between the V and the A) or "V/A :" (":" instead of "-"), "VA Name of Comp" (no "-" between the V/A and the name) etc. 5. When opening a new thread put the name of the album and artist in the topic title and make sure it doesn’t have any typos (or else the search function won’t work). If you made a mistake, you can easily re-edit the title by using the “Edit” button at the end of your post, if that function is not working, then use the report function and report your topic to moderators asking to correct the typos. 6. The new psynews staff has decided that first review, or first post, should always be longer than normal. This doesn't mean an essay by any means. A nice example of a short but still informative review would be this which is around 400 words long without release details. People come here to read about the release, to get some information how it is and stuff like "this release is killagrgrhrhrg" won't tell them anything. After the first post you can post mini-reviews and discussion if you so wish, but no derailing of a thread is allowed. If you feel so strongly about something that does not generally have much to do with the release, please make a thread in an appropriate section and stop posting in the review thread. 7. Personal grudges against artists or reviewers are not welcomed and will be deleted and might lead to moderation so try to use your brain before posting. If you have anything to say to the artist or another reviewer you can always PM (Private Message) or e-mail them. 8. When you open a thread please include Cover Art, Tracklist(preferably with track lengths), release date, label etc. relevant information regarding the album you are reviewing. Also it might be a good idea to include links to shops that are selling the release. 9. For color or size codes please do not over-do with them and remember this forum has 2 skins so the color white won't show up on another and color black won't on the other. Also remember to clean up font formatting that may be carried over when copying your review from one site to another. For Image usage, it is allowed to post images or gifs in reviews but for images try to keep them relatively small so it won't make the review look cluttered and cause problems for readers. Here is a few well made reviews that should give the general idea on how a review should look. X X X X Happy reviewing!
  22. Bump for you here as well! This track is sickly good.
