  1. Wow.. this can't happen.. I'm not really interested into switching to isra for various reason. Also the other English forums are even less active than pie and then there's all the others with different languanges. Psynews is the perfect balance. Problem is how underground the genre still is and how enthused the small amount of people talking about it are, it would suck balls if I couldn't really talk about the genre even on the internet for cookies sake. Having real life enthused discussions about goatrance is not exactly something that will happen. I could fish a job as a moderator(I have previous experience on this) for a team if someone wants to take over.. Oh and I don't think the admin should run a forum like a moderator and someone who tries to do everything by themselves, sure if they can, why not, but otherwise that's why you have moderators who can and want to spend the time. The only times the admin is neccesary to make a visit is when the moderators require the admin, i.e. when the shit truly hits the fan or other important stuff - and maybe it's good to check in once in a while. And also never expect moderators to stick around years, they do it for free and out of love and do eventually get bored/distracted, that's when you let them go and pick new one's. The Admin does need to be very dedicated though, tons of activity isn't required but otherwise they shouldn't leave after a mere year because they can indeed decide how to run the site and do all the critical stuff. Also the amount of history is something that at least should be preserved. Just look at all the posts dating back to early 00's!
  2. Awel He is pretty damn sweet. Reminds me of sandman.
  3. Yeah I found that weird, as well. Oh well, it probably is a mix-up.
  4. Nice review, cocco! Glad someone made a full length review. In my opinion Psycrise and Cyclone In Your Heart are the best tracks from Crossing Mind. Amazing melodies, very gripping, psychedelic and unique. Otherwise I quite agree with the review. The only problem with this release is that it feels like a compilation rather than an album, but that's completely understandable from where it's coming from. I never listen to it from beginning to end but half and half sounds much nicer. It has also grown on me a little, starting to enjoy all the details in the tracks. Also the album art is just epic, I love it.
  5. Nice to see you review again. And yeah I do agree about the mastering here though, it could have been better, would have done more justice to these awesome, awesome tracks.

  7. I see! I wish I could use amazon occasionally but they require a credit card which I do not have yet. I'm only going by discogs for older releases. And yes I really want a nice collection of my favourites since I listen to goatrance so very much, the music has helped me so much.. On that note I did manage to grab The Prophecy for a fairly nice price, now I have the full MFG trilogy
  8. Well knowing the tracklist was enough for me, personally, but I see your point.
  9. Apparently they are out now at suntrip. Could mars or anoebis actually take pictures of them and add them on discogs. I'm interested in the small changes, the remade Apsara and also the whole different cover for Opus Iridium. Also you guys should have made a couple of physical copies of the Filteria - Remixed Either way as soon as I'll get money I'll be ordering Apsara, Twist Dreams and Khtezal. Finally. I seriously think 60e for Khetzal - Corolle, a 2005 release, is just too much.(Goddamn discogs)
  10. Where exactly are you finding such nice deals?
  11. Promo copy for free-digital? waaat? Nice review, very glad about mindsphere, but I want to hear this as well!
  12. Tofu is old school power!
  13. This one is even more massive imo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWoC8G2ptRw

  15. http://gasolin3.deviantart.com/art/Uvantam-186020830 Inspired by Takeshi Isogai aka Ubar Tmar/Uvantam. The middle design spells UVANTAM, you just need to go from middle bottom to middle top and then counterclockwise.
  16. http://www.suntriprecords.com/releases/ Just listen to the samples and decide yourself, though I'd mostly recommend E-Mantra, Filteria, RA and Temple Of Chaos. Also to add to Richpa, a couple of old school goa albums that were previously unreleased Crop Circles - Tetrahedron (Dat Records) Crossing Mind - Holographic Paradigm (Dat Records) Agree otherwise, but imo Nitzhogoa is just epic and I would recommend that over Protozoa, though you can only get VA - Nitz-ho-goa by Kunaki and with a credit card, no paypal whatsoever.
  17. Merr0ws track is practically comparable with Pleiadians - Maia. The first time you actually understand the magnificence of Maia, it engulfs you, it's non-stop power sweeping through your body, taking you to another place and time seems to stop for that brief moment the track plays and when the final climax arrives everything you were and should be thinking about ceases existing and there's only you and another universe. The difference is Pleiadians - Maia is an outer space, otherworldy trip, while Merr0w - Citrus Circus is more poseidon-atlantis oriented in it's thematic style. It is grand, epic and feels authentic. Whenever the last climax hits I feel like I'm in a square tunnel that gets engulfed with water that's forced through the vast openness of the tunnel. It literally does exactly what Maia's ending does. I feel transcended elsewhere. I have probably listened to Citrus Circus around 4-5 times when I have been jogging/running and everytime it starts, the bassline is just right and keeps me going and whenever the climax hits, I feel like there is no limit to how fast and how far I can go. Granted the very segment that allows this does not last too long, but it's still one of the most powerful things I have ever witnessed. Not many songs are able to do this to me. Truly a masterpiece.
  18. I really like the classical space music sounds in Gliese, definitely potential there for something even greater. Otherwise this sounds like e-mantra but with more emotion and small differences in compositions. It's a good EP, but hate how it's a digital release, gah. Definitely would be interested in an album by Eleysun in the future, just take the time and craft something nice out of this style and it could be epic.
