I'd personally take the original over the enchanced one. The front cover artwork is one of my favourite sci-fi/alien/abstract paintings of all time. I even tried to look for more artwork by the creator but alas I'm not sure if the discogs info is correct since I didn't find anything.

You are arguing the popular (psynews) opinions. The Psynews Best Of is what it is. Conduct this same query somewhere else and you indeed get different results(Different people, different community, different general like-dislike's). What I've learned that most here are into new school goatrance and not that much into psytrance, or full-on, aside from the occasional releases. It's just how it is, arguing this is pointless since you won't just be able to make people vote different albums because you happen to think they're better and deserve it. And if you want more votes, you can always promo the Best Of elsewhere, to ask people to share their top 10's.

This is one of the most played albums on my last.fm page and for a good reason. Albeit the problems (To me) with having too many tracks already released, there's no questioning this is an extremely strong debut. The sound is dark, twisted, banging russian goatrance and does stand out a lot in what most new school offers. We need variation and this is exactly that. The sound of this album is like strong winds sweeping through dark northern forests and cracking rocks that come before it, but leaving the trees intact, while also creating lightbeams made of green and purple colors that swirl around in the vast darkness. I have not thought about writing a longer review for this but needless to say this does deserve them. The sound is just so vivid.
