  1. This is one of the most played albums on my last.fm page and for a good reason. Albeit the problems (To me) with having too many tracks already released, there's no questioning this is an extremely strong debut. The sound is dark, twisted, banging russian goatrance and does stand out a lot in what most new school offers. We need variation and this is exactly that. The sound of this album is like strong winds sweeping through dark northern forests and cracking rocks that come before it, but leaving the trees intact, while also creating lightbeams made of green and purple colors that swirl around in the vast darkness. I have not thought about writing a longer review for this but needless to say this does deserve them. The sound is just so vivid.
  2. That is very cool! Much respect for Avatar to continue releasing old school stuff.
  3. 06. Sky Technology - Reactor Of Life 145bpm It's gonna own.
  4. umm, it's Skazi: KILLARGHHHGHHGHHGH!!!!!!1111111111111
  5. Concorde! What a track. One of the strongest downtempo goa tracks I've ever heard. Perfect pace, perfect atmosphere, perfect sounds. Also rest of the album does not disappoint. This is an epic goa album hands down. Oh god how I wish someone would reprint these classics. And yes this belongs in 1996.
  6. *prays for a full revival of goatrance.* Death to full-on!
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAa-MXjDPLQ Epic! Love that melody that is first heard at 0:30
  8. Alright Yes I've heard of the loudness war but if 98% of the music that I have is louder than the UAF releases the problem is not with everything else.
  9. I've been meaning to mention this before but all UAF releases have a quieter volume than everything else. I have foobar scrolling through tracks and whenever UAF release comes on the volume is noticeably quieter, why is this?
  10. Well of course it's gonna get overlooked(or not looked at all), if only 50 copies are made lol
  11. Completely agreed. Maybe a throwback to 1997 covers would have been perfect.. this, however, looks really off putting..
  12. I honestly cannot believe how crazy, twisted, adrenaline filled Amanians - DNA is. It's alone worth owning this compilation. Sheer genius nothing less. I can't wait for more from Amanians.
  13. These tracks are great but lack proper mastering :/
  14. I don't agree. The two differ quite a bit imo. I also very much like the Trip To The Sun and would like to hear it properly mastered. Also an album should come out already
  15. So in this thread we first got a load of a negative responses saying Simon Posford is some sort of asshole douche and now we have someone comparing Hallucinogen to Skazi? I guess that's psynews for you.
