Well intelligent usually refers to more minimal style where things happen on a decent pace(ironic/smart/held back) but not so overblown, as music is so often in your face. It's also not simply just minimal as minimal itself is very empty/void. I am no expert on explaining this but I think that's the gist of it.

Just about anything Hybrid ever did is great. Honestly from a technical standpoint, Soundsystem 01 is an incredible genre-mashing artpiece. Check it out!

This whole track is a shred.

I would have drawn comparison more to Pleiadians/Etnica and AP. Especially with the title track having very familiar Etnica(?) melodies. I can't remember the specific track. I really didn't care for the first 3 tracks, but 4th and outro are great! Very very old school style and those Pleiadian synths still send shivers up my spine. So alien.

Still On Mars I love me some sci-fi. Reminds me of MFG as well.

^It probably was just unfortunate misjudgment on demand and such. That said I do think MR1 is one of the finest compilations ever and better than MR2, although MR2 has the best track(Etnica).

By the way my first choice was m50 as well back when I was doing research, however I ended up with the HFI 580 after vigorous research. Ah I'd love to upgrade again but the next step is like 300e+

I got the HFI-580, they are basically coloured for electronic music in general with brights highs and really nice bass. About 125~ euro. They are closed though and will wear you out quickly enough on the comfort level. However I'd definitely recommend these cans for that price range for electronic music. On that note, I've heard for general use other cans could be a better choice, as said, these seem to work much better with electronic music with it's emphasis on bass and such.

If you want to discuss the best releases this year, what albums should be considered classics, the reviews section layout, the quality of reviews, the latest Tool release, want to request a review, etc. etc., then please use the General or Off-Topic sections of the forum! This is intended for psytrance music and subgenres so no reviews of parties or other music genres. If you feel so strongly about something that does not generally have much to do with the release, please make a thread in an appropriate section and stop posting in the review thread. 7. Personal grudges against artists or reviewers are not welcomed and will be deleted and might lead to moderation so try to use your brain before posting. If you have anything to say to the artist or another reviewer you can always PM (Private Message) or e-mail them. 8. When you open a thread please include Cover Art, Tracklist(preferably with track lengths), release date, label etc. relevant information regarding the album you are reviewing. Also it might be a good idea to include links to shops that are selling the release. 9. For color or size codes please do not over-do with them and remember this forum has 2 skins so the color white won't show up on another and color black won't on the other. Also remember to clean up font formatting that may be carried over when copying your review from one site to another. For Image usage, it is allowed to post images or gifs in reviews but for images try to keep them relatively small so it won't make the review look cluttered and cause problems for readers. Thanks for writing a review. My favourite prog goa/psy album maybe ever! Only problems are some tracks tend to become repetitive, I would like to see more crazy bassline key changes, like in Eleven or more melodies like in Cosmic Web. However those are the only negative aspects I can say, otherwise you're going to hear insanely lush atmospheres with top of the line production and groovy sound design. For me this album was quite mindblowing, did not know prog could be so good. Definitely worth a purchase for any psy collection.

Filteria - Operation Pulse Literally 10 minutes of goose bumps. I don't get those often these days.
