  1. Hands down the best darkpsy I have ever listened. I generally find the darkpsy sound just annoying; far too glitchy, computerized and random. The enichkin sound, however, is actually quite soft with it's drenching acid oriented direction, hypnotic atmosphere and deep basslines, which brings it almost a forest goa feel. There's also a touch of intelligence and depth in the melodies that just simply seal the deal. SuperB darkpsy!
  2. Ahh, To Infinity. Starts off with screaming starstuff like synths, some tiny details floating around. Acid dribbles and sweeping winds ensue. Bombastic bassline and oriental melodies add insane amounts of strength. Then the progressive warp-speed floating begins for the preparation for the climax "This is an intergalactic emergency" that utterly twists the common laws of reality and bends you to its ultimate power. I'm so happy artists manage to make these kind of tracks. The ones that just engulf you no matter h-what. We can only hope!
  3. Such a fine obscurity. http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?/topic/35017-cybernaut-hydrophonics/&do=findComment&comment=955502
  4. Vanquish! Though of course typical comments Oh boy. Also on GOMTV Global Starcraft League I've heard some psy and goa. Currently they have been playing electric universe between matches occasionally. And obviously Matrix Reloaded had some good stuff like Mona Lisa Overdrive, I will never forget that scene. Koji Morimoto's Dimension Bomb! Everyone should watch it, it's pretty epic.
  5. That is very cool, wouldn't mind hearing more of this. Great atmospheres are always such a huge plus.
  6. Definitely my brothers recorded cassettes of radio shows where they played those cheesy but awesome 90s dance tunes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEgbW1FxR78 There was also this other one but dammit I can't remember what it's name was at all. Then there were video games with electronic music like command and conquer that I really liked. Here for example, some good use of acid in Tibsun OST http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4T6jFQelVeg ..but then there was tribes 2 that I really loved. Sound that came out of nowhere for me, though I still didn't know about this style any further. Then Orbitals Technologicque Park on the movie xXx made me ask around and Mona Lisa Overdrive from matrix reloaded sealed the deal(Years later). Though that's going a bit offtopic. So, all in all, I never actually heard proper goatrance before Mona Lisa Overdrive lol. Bad luck, maybe.
  7. That was super enjoyable I must admit. Loved the atmosphere. Proggy housy psy?
  8. Although Jacynth didn't do anything except talk.
  9. That's right folk, I took the bullet.
  10. Ohh. Well I don't know how to open that with foobar2000. I don't have winamp.
  11. Well over here it's possible to avoid copyright by having the server that streams from another country. Edit: wait, our dear admin necro'd a thread, what is going on
  12. Just one? This'll be hard, I'll have to think about it.
  13. Hey nhjo, happy birthday! 34 Korean age, right?
  14. The original Fusion has been available for a long time as DD and yeah, iTunes is utter crap. Check Draeke's links or if there is a Croatian MP3 DD site. I found mine from a purely Finnish site so it could be possible. Apparently some shops sell VBR's so if you're worried about that then it's a good idea to check details first.
  15. It should be available enough that everyone can buy it as Digital Download. Beatport still doesn't have it but oh well. I got mine from a finnish store. First time buying immensely stupid MP3 files, but it's for a good cause anyhoo. Mybe if Takeshi is seeing some sales on this it'll just further confirm he will make another stellar album. Edit: I just got done listening to it. It's worth it, even if you've heard Fusion before this one has so many new things it's almost a new experience!
  16. I can't believe noone remembered to mention Shakta - Spaceflowers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW_MlOU5qxQ One of the best guitar uses too in goatrance. Also The Future Is Now and Between Worlds had some intelligent use of the psyfart in the same album. The delta track had some good ones! The other is exactly the type I don't really like, sounds too simple for me. I wish it was like that from the very beginning, that was TASTY!
  17. I hated the integration of youtube + google already. Why cant I search anonymously? Grr. I liked internet better before there were these social sites, they're ruining the what's little left of anonymity.
  18. I find that bit odd, but maybe it's just taste then. Or I'm turning deaf.
  19. It's not often I say I thoroughly enjoyed something so much in a full-on release but here we have a nice exception. First two tracks are a bit predictable but the 3rd is masterful full-on. It does everything right like all full-on should. Atmosphere, sounds, production, melodies all great and it comes with a small goa twist. A bit like Electric Universe's Cosmic Experience album. Like or dislike full-on, this track should do the trick for any psytrance lover. I recommend downloading this EP just for it alone. The outro was very interesting too, but far, far too short. I'd like to hear a full track like this - scratch that, a full album like this. Thanks for reviewing this T2MU, I would have never heard the fabulous 3rd track otherwise.
  20. I enjoyed this EP quite a lot compared to the usual EP releases. Interesting dark movie like atmosphere for ... goa I guess. Whilst the tracks seem to be on par with each others, the first track is the best. I never get tired of those 80s like crystal synths. From 6.39 the track turns into such coolness. Wicked groovy 80s atmosphere with some real emotion. I think there is room for improvement, namely the literal production sounds flat and hollow, but as I said, this stands out from the norm of EP release. This EP tells so much more of a story and is very interesting, which makes me occasionally coming back. A cool interesting take on goaish production at least. I don't actually know how to really classify this, but I liked it. Though I'm wondering what's with the loud problem? If it's loud then turn it down. The sound level of these files is actually quite low if I compare to other release with same settings and obviously if you turn it up it'll sound tad harsh. So just turn it down?
