it sounds great on good audio equipment lemme tell you. even if i only have a burned copy so far, it sounds greaaaat. i didn't like it much at first either, but after about 5 listens it's grown on me and i like it alot more now. there are always parts i don't really care for but im overall please with it. it was a good conclusion to the shpongle series. -

I've listened to it more and I decided I love it too. I always need time to adjust to new Shpongle songs, I don't know why. It's a great album. Maybe when I get some cash I'll actually buy it. But that might taint my criminal appearance so I'm not so sure.... Shpongle kicks ass -

It's a good album but I'm not blown away as I was when I discovered Are You Shpongled. I like it, but I am far from being in love with it. I think I just wanted something alittle different. I agree with it not being very "chill". I like the track that starts around 11 minutes but it ends so quickly and turns into crap. I like the dark Juno Reactor sound of the track and then after 3 minutes it's gone Theres alot that I like about this album, but theres alot that I don't like. I just wish the parts I liked were together in songs, instead of being spaced about the mix. -

Well, at this rate, Hallucinogen 3 should be around some time in 2012. -

I prefer my cow well done, not milked and fed. I guess there's only so many ways you can make a flute song. I also found that the flute solo sounded very familiar; especially the background chords (or whatever they are) with the little click-like sounds. I love Saudade pt 2 so I guess I don't have to big of a problem with this, but it would have been nice to hear something different. -

I'd love to but I won't be home on Saturday. Someone record it for me so I can download it later -

I'm actually not sure if I really like it yet. It is so different from what I have expected and from all other Shpongle songs. I think I wish the overall album was alittle more trippy and less straight forward music. I miss the flickering and weird sounds, there seems to be a shortage of weird sounds on this album. Another thing I really don't like is the singing. I liked the singing in Once Upon A Sea... but I don't really like the singing as much in this album. I do like some of the Middle Eastern sounding singing and music, I'm not really sure if it's middle eastern though. Does anyone know what language that is? I'm talking about whatever track is playing around 45:30 (mm:ss). I think I'm still getting used to the songs. They are so different from what I've listened to before I think I need time to adjust. I noticed the tracks don't seem to peak as much as they used to. Usually in older Shpongle songs there is a noticeable peak that is usually the best part of the song. I think the peaks of the new Shpongle songs, if there are any, are shorter and less noticeable. Maybe this is because of the mix style of the album and the shorter song length. There are definitely parts that I like, it isn't a bad album, but I think I prefer the drifting back and floating kind of feeling I get from older Shpongle songs. This album seems more active but I don't know, I'm confused. Of course it's Shpongle though, so I'm going to give it every chance to be good Someone pass me the bong. Does burnign the .cue file onto the CD with the CDDA audio allow for skipping between songs? Is the .cue file on bittorent? -

I'm from the good old USA and it's pretty illegal here. Ever since Metallica made a big stink about Napster there have been lawsuits off and on against downloaders. I'm pretty sure it would score you some jail time if you got caught, however I'm not sure how they can legally examine what is on your computer without breaking some privacy laws. It's probably some new hidden law in the Patriot Act. I found the album online, very quickly. In fact it was the first link under a google search I did. If it's good, and I can find it locally, or on amazon for a reasonable price I will be buying it. I still want a Shpongle SACD, but I guess a regular CD will have to do. I agree with all you guys that don't like the electric guitars and the DJ scratching sound or whatever that it. Very unshpongle like in my opinion, but then again, there are tons of Shpongle songs I thought I would hate when I first heard them; now I love them. So I guess I'll just have to listen to this one for a couple of days and see how it plays out. There's still atleast 2 weeks before I would be able to get a real copy anyway and after the constant delays from Twisted I'm not waiting anymore. Now, it's time to go enjoy Shpongle on my new JM Labs. You guys with boom boxes are sure missing out -

I really don't care how much you've spent on music, and regardless I am buying the album. The quality of mp3's doesn't cut it on my system. I don't care what any of you think about downloading. How do you think most people hear about Shpongle? I'd say the internet. So unless you blindly buy albums because they might be good, downloading helps alot. Can I download a live Shpongle performance experience? Nope, but I can pay to get into a club where they are playing and guess what, Shpongle makes money that way. If it werent for downloading, I wouldn't even know who Shpongle, Hallucinogen, or any of the other Twisted artists are. If that makes me a criminal then I guess I'm a criminal. So if you plan on doing something about it then go ahead. It's not a matter of being smart enough to find it. I thought it would be much easier and faster to just ask you guys for a link so I didn't have to look. If you don't want to share it then that's fine maybe that makes you feel special. I will find it anyway. You can cry and retaliate against this post, and I'm sure someone here is going to want to real bad, but like I said before, I don't care. I'm off to go save some homeless people with davinox. Us criminals need something to spend our money on. -

why would it be a rip off? there are 20 songs....if every 3 songs= one regular shpongle song then thats alittle less then 7 songs. are you shpongled has 7 songs on it. i think the track names are pretty much pointless and are just there as a way of breaking up the continous mix alittle better, so it would be easier to skip parts you didnt like or skip to your favorite parts without fast forwarding. -

based on the samples this shpongle album seems very different. i have a feeling it will be hit or miss for most people. while there are some things it has in common with the older shpongle albums i think the overall sound is going ina different direction. personally i think its a good thing, how many more ambient shpongle tracks could we take before we got bored? -

I found a Shpongle track called Beja Flor on Limewire. I didn't think it was from the new album, I just assumed it was some unreleased track that never made it to an album. Now that I'm listening to these samples, it seems as though the first three tracks are the song beja flor. Is this true? Why split it up into 3 minute clips instead of the traditional 9 minute Shpongle song.
