Thanks for taking the time to listen to this and for your support Open Mind.
-
thank you , i am really happy to have your support. it's not easy to do these traxx , specially because i am doing everything as a live recording , nothing is connected to a computer sequencer , so what you just heard it was all me playing and tweaking knobs in real time. i also want to thank you guys for giving and sharing your opinions (ex. the claps) , i will work on it . thanks for following me over youtube , i am still working around my style and music with all the gear , i don't want to do something that was already done , i want to find my OWN sound and that takes a lot of time to build up. the experience continues..!!

amithaba_buddha replied to amithaba_buddha's topic in Free Music Promotion
Thanks for checking this out today i got my last update to the studio , a second 303. here's what i produced : http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TGm7BQj6fE -
I don't see the problem with melodies , music is both melodic and rhythmic , or you do both or simply explore one of each side.

Korg EMX-1 Hard Trance Song
amithaba_buddha replied to amithaba_buddha's topic in Free Music Promotion
Yeah , this is actually the first song i put togheter , the workflow on hardware is way different than on a computer. Indeed , i'm also not sure what kind of genre this is , but probably it's more towards Acid Hard Trance (?) , first thoughts went to hardtrance or something because it's fast and uses an hard kick but no idea about genres aswel , but better just call it Trance. I done all the tweaking before and everything is already programmed , its better to keep a fully programmed track and then record it to audio so that the track remains solid and consistent . Glad you enjoyed it! -
Finished this today , happy to have programmed this just on the Korg EMX-1 . It's hard acid trance ranging the 150 BPM. Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWv0pDx-iy4

You get another one from Rama and probably the most powerful and crazy Nitzhogoa tune you've heard from me. -
Your favourite 303 Acid traxx topic
amithaba_buddha replied to amithaba_buddha's topic in General Psytrance
A friend of mine is over youtube making episodes of the Acid , here's his latest Track: 'Mad Cows On Acid' by DDR & The Geezer Release Year: 1997 http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZscJoKYV1s BTW i just posted this as this thread just reached over 604 views , keep 'em coming guys! -
I looked over the shop , no info is found , but , on discogs here's some details : Credits Artwork By [Cover] - Stefan Glerum Keyboards, Programmed By - Charanjit Singh Mastered By - Johanz Westermans* Research, Producer - Edo Bouman Notes Recorded in 1982 at HMV Studios in Bombay, India Equipment: Roland Jupiter-8, Roland TB-303, Roland TR-808 Sound restoration: See Why Audio Point is re-mastered or not , the original content was produced in 1982 which is totally mind-blowing.

It sounds a lot Goa because he translated ancient Indian classical Ragas to the synthesizers.
-
Sorry mr. Mike , can't agree with your statement . It sure is damn hard to find a good melody that stands out , that won't sound like anybody else's and that sticks in your head. Imagine me going to say : hey , sure it's a piece of cake to do a dark track , just play with the OSC's randomly , get a good weird noise and start doing rhythms with it. None of this is true and you know it . Music Production is NOT easy , but cmon Mike , what about the Mad Scientists Night , it has a melody .

He he he.. no , i'm on a long period holiday ( better not spill the beans ) , i was really amazed when a friend of mine shown me this and when i got to know this was made on 1982 i was . Seriously i was really happy to know about this and admire this work a lot . Probably at the time nobody gave this attention because it sounded rubbish since it's not using any "real" sounds , which today , sound totally up-to-date and that's amazing for a record with almost 30 years old!

To me this is an immediate buy and it's really good it has been re-released , this sounds like it was made yesterday. It's just too bad they are not selling CD copies but only LP's (no point because i don't have a turntable) and online mp3's (which im not buying because , well it's mp3 , bah). :\ Maybe will email them and ask if there's any chance for a CD release..

First , my apologies on the topic title (too much excitment ) , it's 1982 not 1892. A friend of mine just shown me this and i was totally amazed. Here's the description: *Until recently it wasn’t much more than some rumours on the web: a 1982 released LP called TEN RAGAS TO A DISCO BEAT containing Kraftwerk-like acid house music, years before the genre was invented. SYNTHESIZING – TEN RAGAS TO A DISCO BEAT by Charanjit Singh (India, 1982) So it turns out, the record was no rumour. Only a few hundred copies of the LP were ever pressed, and only a handful seem to have survived. Moreover, the LP outdoes all expectations. Performed on the synths that would later define Acid House, the Roland TB-303 and TR-808, the album sounds light years ahead of its time with its repetitive beats and hypnotic electronic melodies. Its maker, Bollywood session musician Charanjit Singh, set out to translate ancient Indian classical Ragas to the modern synthesizer and in doing so seems to have invented House music along the way. The 10 tracks make a consistent listen from A to Z. Its restrained minimalism and lack of cheesiness makes it incredibly contemporary, sounding animated, fluid and unabashedly alive. Now get your jaws ready because u'll be amazed... and forget Goa Gil.. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUqnPYwoiF4 and http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXiB7OQOYJ0 And this was all produced in 1982!! if you want to buy it or check more info : http://www.bombay-connection.com/en_GB/site/page/1/releases

Epic and Awesome

I got one and just bought another one for double Acid . It's totally worth the money invested. A lot of people and some audio specialists compared a TB303 to a x0x b0x , side to side , playing at the same time , same pattern , result is that they sound pretty much close to each other , it's as almost comparing one TB303 to another TB303 , none of the instruments sound exactly the same since it's hardware. Check out my youtube channel , i recorded some vids playing on the hardware and sometimes i keep posting some new stuff. Lately i've been recording some Acid Techno , really diggin the grooves Elektriber Thanks for dropping by Djuna.
