  1. christ, i am really sorry i started this topic for some reason, i think i should trust you pavel, but i will check out fractal cowboys and that other act mentioned here in the future. thx p.s. this was supposed to be a quick-forgotten topic with some yes or no replies
  2. what is this one?
  3. Now, I no longer like music that is too fast (unless I liked in the past, and then it just brings back good memmories). I am not a fan of so-called dark music. But I like quality and innovation. Having read a bit about the tumult album, i am intrigued but undecided by ppl saying it sounds rehashed or monotonous. Should someone like me get this for that rare evening? thx

do you think that lower prices will really lead to increase in quanity sold? unlikely, not by much anyways (my opinion) also, it does matter that the online shops monitor the prices of cd's sold on labels. some shops have a rule that they sell the cds of label X at a certain fixed percentage of the price the label is selling the cd's for. lowering the price would only make the online store lower their price too if you have the money, try to buy from labels directly, it will support the labels, who in turn support artists (no matter how much) more.
  5. man, this is such a good mix listened to it again today it is a very interesting listen while at the same time being very good sleeping company (not too invasive) looking forward to listening to the new one

  9. why should one care what tracks are on an album that one wants to get? won't you see them on the back of the cd when you receive it?
  10. are you implying that some facts are not opinions, personal or collective?
  11. my understanding is that ragga is reggae with electronics
  12. also mci released an anthology called dub chill out in 96 which is a great intro to classic dub with several of the above names making appearances
  13. King Tubby Burning Spear Black Uhuru Bill Laswell Mad Professor Scientist Lee Scratch Perry The Aggrovators Augustus Pablo enough to get you started
  14. also there is the issue of & as opposed to vs. i always feel that if it's "&", the artists were working towards a common goal, but with "vs", they were trying to outdo each other. i know this is not the case, but that is definitely what it sugests to me with that usage of the words.
  15. sweet, will download as soon as i clean my hard drive thx for those scapes, much appreciated
