  1. Well, as promised some time ago in a thread about top10s, I tried my hand again at mixing non-downbeat music, the result has some trainwrecks but has some pretty tight mixes as well. the music is to make one cum though here it is: http://www.ganesha.ca/Media/Icy-Hot.mp3
  2. A cookie-cutter is an apparatus that allows one to make exactly identical cookies many times over.
  3. I always thought that it was called progressive because the track progressed slowly with layers being added gradually as opposed to a chaotic barrage of layers as in other types of trance. It does not mean that there are less layers, just that they are more distinct.
  4. limelight - simple name
  5. Bluetech - Leaving Winter Behind [Native State] Rhian Sheehan feat. Jess Chambers - Hiding Place (Fiord rmx) [iboga] Phony Orphants - Party [iboga] Sensient - I.D.E. [Zenon] Holm & Andersen - City Rain [Tribal Vision] Adham Shaikh - Krishna Raga [sonic Turtle] Omar Faruk Tekbilek & Steve Shedhan - Ya Bouy (Shulman rmx) [Aleph Zero] Tripswitch - Deer Park [L.S.D.] Alex Theoly - Voodoo Dub [interchill] Blowfish - Stoned [surreal Audio]
  6. aint nothing wrong with booty
  7. i am with sherlock, no need to even mention the name we voted for
  8. Holy fucking %#&)(&*$ WOW The upcoming remixes CD will be worth it for this track alone and all this excitement is from having heard the sample on iboga.dk only
  9. certainly hope so this one was amazing beautiful thx
  10. Personally, I think there was a lot of amazing downtemp released this year. So far the best: Ishvara - Magik Square of the Sun Tripswitch - Corcuit Breaker Waterjuice - Melbaphonics VA - Left Coast Liquid Vol. 1 VA - Earth Octave Lounge Vol. 2 VA - Dissolving Clouds worthy of a mention: VA - Antenna Vol. 1, VA - Quality Relaxation Gaudi and Testa's album Continuum might very well turn out to be a favourite as well, but it might need a lot of listening and I only have for about a month. Maybe on psyshop, I got it from waveform's website in 2004.
  11. did you mean phutureprimitive - sub conscious and it is from 2004
  12. so far, best va for me is by far left coast liquid from native state intelligent chill
  13. downloading nice tracklisting np: penton's set from aero-groove
  14. mostly saiko, nothing but good things bought once from backroadsmusic but since the price was indicated on the package and i had to pay customs will not be ordering from there again ordered from the interchill.com website, also very happy, but don't know what the customs situation would be if shipping outside of canada from amboworld, also very happy amazon, expensive fuckers but have a nice selection of non standard psy music as surprising as it sounds, have never ordered from psyshop, dont know why, dont like the layout of their site maybe might be others but cannot recall right now
  15. bullshit, amigo can and have, extremely deep and trancy would it have happened to me had i not experienced psychedelics beforehand? no idea, maybe not do i believe ppl have gone much further w/o psychedelics than i have with? absolutely
  16. Voted for interchill Real World is also an great label Waveform deserves mention i love some exogenic releases if this was about a year ago, would have definitely voted for iboga
  17. ditto
  18. must add gaudi to the uk list
  19. Canada: will keep it to "psy" acts chill: Adham Shaikh Bluetech is spending a lot of time here Freeworm Shen Astral Waves or whatever Gabriel aka Zen is calling himself these days trance: Nuclear Ramjet Ekoplex Azriel Luddite Manomantra The Weirding Way Symbolum As for the states, I am surprised and siappointed not to see Phutureprimitive nor Androcell on any list And for Russia (where I lived for many years too), where the f... are all the Horns and Hoofs artists. Can't say that I am surprised that only the 150 bpm artists are getting mentioned though. Also find it funny that neither Perfect Stranger nor Prosect got mentioned for Israel. Well, not really funny, it is more sad. The ones that are actually aking interesting music are completely unnoticed
  20. from the last one (it was far from the first one) also, much variety between songs gaudi albums: GAUDI “BASTA POCO IN DUB” –album vinyl (Polygram/Mercury 1991) GAUDI “BASTA POCO” –album vinyl/cd/mc (Polygram/Mercury 1991) GAUDI “Gaudium magnum” –album vinyl/cd/mc (Polygram/Mercury 1993) GAUDI & KEITA “MY BEAUTIFUL LAUNDRETTE” –album cd (Sub Signal 2002) GAUDI “EARTHBOUND” –album triple vinyl/cd (Bustin'Loose/Antenna 2000) GAUDI "Bass, Sweat & Tears" - album cd (Interchill 2004) GAUDI:TESTA “CONTINVVM” - album cd (EM:T Records 2005)
  21. gutsy progressive? sensient's album etnoscope's new stuff
  22. deepest? easy free as we are (the original from lull) no contest
  23. are you sure? ppl have been saying that for a whiel already, if they could, woulnd't they already? i didn't taking it COMPLETELY out of context, i think it should be more divided, if a party plays trance, why should it also play full-on? it is like asking a rock concert to include some classical. nothing against different genres, in fact, i am all for it, but keep it separate as far as i am concerned i am not sick of this division as you are, i am sick of enduring through hours of pop fullon to hear one prog artist
  24. havent given benza too much of a chance listened to it at the shop several times, and it never appealed to me much compared to the first one, i found it to be much too much in the mainstream
  25. SCS, oh yeah really looking forward to that hope drooid will keep those bpms down i find this antix vs po debate ridiculous, cannot compare the styles at all other than say i like this more. Both albums are amazing imo, Antix has grown on me much more for the simple reason that i have had much longer need to give phony more time what i respect about both of these acts is that as much as their debuts rocked, they did not stagnate in that sound actually, andy from this forum has been putting out some original music
