  1. This was a fun little scuffle to read! Ouroboros, you're pretty much right about the crowds being the same, which does suck, and the hippies do smell bad but we can forgive them for that. You did really come across as an ass, and I don't think anyone here can understand how much you dislike Simon Posford's MUSIC. And if you do, why the fuck did you go to so many of his shows? Makes no sense to me, you sound more like a troll than anything else. And now I've taken the bait...
  2. This seems to be garnering a lot of financial support for them as I see a lot of those pledge options available decreasing over the last couple days, and it really does seem like an awesome way for them to share more with their close fans. I am definitely all for it, and will likely be pledging depending on my finances.

    Machete

Couldn't agree more. Haven't seen Spy Kids movies but pretty big scar on his record imho. Either way, can't wait to see Machete

    Machete

No kidding... like in Avatar, I WANTED her to die... Machete looks awesome... reviews aren't actually that bad at all either. Might even put up the coin to see it in the theater...
  5. Got anything useful to say, hater?
  6. Seriously! Si jokingly told a fan "hah sure if you get 1000 votes on the forum I'll do it!" and so the fan is spearheading an effort to do so. Really don't think it has anything to do with Si's "ego" (if he even has one, somehow unmelted by the doses of this and that which have surely destroyed it like penicillin finding bacteria...), it is a noble fan based effort to put some flame under his arse and get some new, complex psytrance into the scene. And we all know he has the gusto to do it, so I think it is well worth joining the grass roots effort here and to Vote for Si!
  7. I really think Tamlin belongs in this list... Spectrogram is a pretty experimental album in some ways but it is also incredibly psychedelic and very unique in it's nature. Hard to categorize, but amazing nonetheless.
  8. Really dug this track man! Keep up the good work. Anywhere I can find it lossless by chance?
  9. The Glitch Mob - Drink the Sea has been in my playlists quite a bit this year... Fun album for sure!
  10. ... just discovered this gem recently.... best album art ever, and an amazing concept album as well.
  11. I am not really good with the full reviews as I am still somewhat new to the genre compared to most of the psynews community, but I know what I like, and I LIKE THIS ALBUM A LOT!!! Man it is really one of the most psychedelic pieces of music I have ever listened to. Had to find a copy to DL unfortunately because of it being out of print, and the price tag being so steep on copies sent over here to the States from Europe. but Tamlin you are officially on my insta-buy list with your (hopefully in the works) future albums!
  12. Only had time to listen to the first 3 tracks of this before work today, but this album seethes the most kind of badassness that there is.... Holy shit it is some of the best music to my ears in ages. I can see why it creates drama, because anyone who doesn't like it, it's like HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE THIS?!?! But whatever, to each his own, only missing out not listening to this one! Edit: Fully listened. Will take years to fully absorb. This album completely shifts my perspective and expectations of what goa should sound like, and fully invigorates the genre. Fucking hell it is good to hear something this refreshing! Thank you Artha!
  13. Other Self is an amazing track, as well as Beyond Control. Both have killer, Egyptian style melodies... Absolutely up to par with oldschool tracks, melodically and otherwise, like Astral Warrior (which I discovered due to this thread and is amazing! Love this forum topic Ormion!)
  14. I rarely get to the point of tears over any kind of show, but the Lost finale drove me there, multiple times. It was phenomenal to see the series wrapped up the way that it was, and the spiritual connections it drew from religions across the planet. That was really the biggest thing to me, was the expression that no matter what you believe, when you die what it comes down to is those who you spent the most important times with, and the show encouraged us all to build those and make ourselves better in doing so. That is the most inspirational thing JJ possible could have done to end the series, trumping any kind of Star Trek-esque explanations they could have come up with for the inexplicable phenomena throughout the series. My two and a half cents...
  15. I wonder how much the extra charge is to get her to DJ topless, or is it just part of the package? .... anyway, I think it's clear she takes the cake.
  16. lol.... I have the same reaction to abasio's signature girl. Just so cute!
  17. That is the coolest looking bug I have ever seen! And I love the way the moss is surrounding it like a natural fractal... Thanks for sharing your pics... I was gonna mention that the camera you used in Bangkok seems more 'crisp' in the lighting than your new camera... might just be me, or the fact that Bangkok had so much natural beauty though
  18. Lots of good suggestions here... I will add Ominus - the self titled album is really quite something...
  19. This is so over the top ridiculous that I actually really like it ! So many awful covers in this thread but Space Cat tops them all!
  20. Abasio you treat this movie like it defiled your ancestors graves... Especially in dogging the CG! If you can't see how the movie is a breakthrough at least in that category, and respect how it has made people feel more alienated from the environment (which it should, and hopefully will draw them to want to protect/immerse themselves in nature more), then I don't know WHAT you are smoking, (or not smoking... you ARE in Japan after all...)
  21. You know, a Starcraft movie could very well happen, but I suppose Avatar technology might be too much to ask
  22. Normal girls that are into psytrance and a bit nerdy are far MORE sexy if you ask me, this topic was just in terms of physical appearance for me ...
  23. By FAR the hottest of DJs posted here, and I would for sure dance to those mixes! Sure beats the shit out of the Spears' and Gagas'.....
  24. Seriously? Mulholland Drive just made me feel like I got skull f*cked... seen it a couple times and still don't have a goddam clue what it's about...
  25. amphithon thanks for sharing that incredibly gross story... Anyway, I have made sweet love after putting on some Shpongle so I agree with you murphy it works well, but the BEST is Phutureprimitive - Subconscious. Just do it, and try and tell me I am wrong
