Dude, it's not that hard. Go dig through some used records stores. The last "goa" album I found was Eat Static - B-World for 1.50 Euros. To me it's kind of crap anyway (and I like Eat Static). Want it? I'd do a trade.

"der mensch verändert die Genstruktur" / "human is changing the gene structure" that's all that I recall out of my head. can't listen to it here at work, I have no sound but what's most important: POPKILLER II is coming! Oh and I have discovered more great songs of him! He has put a big load of material on his homepage which can be listened to! This is great! Lately I absolutely dig No Love, We Are Punks and Follow The Leader.

Damn great news! Oh man, this came so surprisingly ... just in the right moment to kick me back on track (I was kind of pissed off just before). YEEEHAW! Will definitely order this one. -

V/A - Progressive Bunker (Panzar Produktionz 2010) It's the beginning of spring 2010 and this year's progressive music season is going to get started with a blast: Panzar Produktionz' first promo release "PROGRESSIVE BUNKER 2010" is out! Being a new and fresh underground collective founded in 2009, the members of the Panzar Produktionz community decided to bring this free release out to the public to showcase their sound and talent! And they are releasing this also to make people aware that they are keeping their promise, which was to revitalize the progressive scene with fresh, raw and original material with its own character, far aside from the commercial ordinary that is heard so much these days! Because the real progressive trance of the old days has become silent for a far too long time already. Much of the bite and power of the sound has seriously become diluted and shallow to a great extent with too many club sounds, pseudo-arrogance and fake-sophisticatedness that is around today. It was about time that something changed ... and Panzar Produktionz is bringing you this change! "PROGRESSIVE BUNKER" is the title of their first official promo compilation. Don't get distracted by the word "promo", this is just an indication that this has been released for everybody to enjoy -- with 8 seriously good tracks on the piece and the sound mastered to perfection you are actually getting real value here! The founders of Panzar Produktionz themselves are starting off this piece with the first track. PUSHERSTREET - DROGENSTRASSE delivers a "massive" (in the sense of "bass with a lot of mass" -- seriously!) track full of their funky yet raw sound, again with the melody being so tightly structured into the piece you can't seperate it. A wonderfully punchy bassline and the really creatively embedded sounds of marching police forces (I have never heard such a nice approach before, that's why I want to explicitly mention this here) are sure to please your ears! Second is IN YOUR PHAZE - PHAZING FORWARDS. It's not an easy task to find a connecting element between the first track (Pusherstreet) and the more "traditional" progressive sound, but this track does it quite well. Two elements are characteristic for this sound -- and actually for the whole repertoire of PANZAR PRODUKTIONZ: raw and straight to the point! But even though it is both, it manages to stay funky in its own way. A very good track to work out actually. Third track is EARDROP - T.H.C. This is now the music which is more sounding like the progressive which is widely known. But even though the effects and sounds are more "traditional", the arrangement is very good. Compared to the massive progression of the other tracks on this compilation, this one is almost floating, with an interesting synth line as a melody that I really like a lot! Up next is MANTRA FLOW with the track SHADE MACHINE. Mantra Flow has already had a release on Panzar Produktionz entitled "Land of Lysergic", which was great. This one sounds a bit different compared to all other Mantra Flow tracks I have heard so far, it's more focusing on the progressive side of the sound. But that's nothing bad, it's well done and with the changed pace in the middle part it shows some variation and does not get boring. A well executed piece of sound that only underlines the quality of this artist! The fifth track is PATARA - WALDLAUF. And hey, this is great, I even can hear a bit of the sound of Shiva Chandra in there! Seriously, this describes it best ... Patara is no copycat of course, but it's a very positive sign that to this I can nod my head with a grin on my face just like I did as I was listening to Shiva Chandra. It has some of the same essence, a similar type of progression and approach to effects, which I register with a lot of positivity, because this sound had kind of stopped to exist for me so far. Glad to hear that it's back here! Sixth track is COMATIC - METHBARON, a hard progressive stomper. There is no melody at all and it's also the shortest track but the progression in its machine-like style mingled with percussive synth effects is actually good, so I don't want to skip this one. After that you feel like it's time for some kickass. And indeed, it is. The track IN YOUR PHAZE & MANTRA FLOW - BY THE BASE will seriously get your ass moving. It is not so fast, but this is really well executed progressive sound with a massivity in the bass and bassline that is really one of a kind! This music is not focusing on tempo, over-cranked effects or anything else to build up energy, it focuses on sound only! And if you turn up the volume, you will totally feel what I mean. This is the sound of Panzar Produktionz -- it can't be described with words, it must be heard! Last but not (really not!) least is HOKUS FLOWKUS - KONGA KUNG FU (MAPE RMX). This one totally hit me by surprise because I wasn't expecting such a strong track as a finish. It's fast (compared to the rest), it's intense (in a totally different way), it's tribal (Konga percussion, baby), it's great! This track is creating such an energetic atmosphere that I could well picture the air on the dancefloors will be getting electric ... everything's just fitting in this one, perfect! After such a strong finish, I can just say wow... Summarized one can say that this is an awesome piece. There are actually no bad tracks at all and lots of seriously good ones. And with the purpose to raise awareness for their special and distinctive type of sound that Panzar Produktionz stand for, this compilation, which is the first one released by the collective, is released as a PROMO and therefore free for everybody to enjoy! And this is the point where I can only strongly suggest this compilation to absolutely everybody, even if it is just for checking out this new progressive sound that is actually capable of turning the scene around! This may seem like big words, but well, one has to do it, after all ... and if you listen to the tracks, you will hear why. My favourites: 1(!),3,5,7 and 8(!). great! thanks Mars

I listen to it on my PC and on my cellphone who has a media player. I have an ipod, but its accu is too low and I'm too lazy to order a new battery... And apart from not having that many digital releases anyway, I do not organize my collection. Some have tags, some have none, some are mislabeled, I don't care. I know what song is what and I'm the only one who should listen to those tunes, so it doesn't matter.

you know, during all the time they could just shit on it and make another one, a second one ... and release the stuff of this one once the legal issues have been cleared. S-Range did it. The release of Another Theory was corrupted by the album having leaked, so he makes a third one ... which will be out soon according to the news. And funnily enough, that aforementioned release should have been in the same year as Astral were about to release their new one initially, as far as I remember. So he is now releasing his second new one and Astral do ... nothing?! We'll see who will be better off here. I'll stay tuned.

a really good question! Anybody knows when it will be out finally?
-
hey, you got me too... but that was a really nice and creative try (track names ftw) ... haven't been april fool'd yesterday anyway, so I'm pleased that it happens in such a nice way

some really good ones so far... I add:

One of the most intense fullon traks I can think of was Space Buddha - Acid Prophecy... here it is: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUARrb2i0yM the calm beginning doesn't fit ... but it's really energetic ... at 4:00 for example...

I agree on this. And on Beatport it's even legal to call it a new release because the tracks haven't been released on mp3 (legally) before! Just be careful ... and don't be stupid and buy stuff you already own. If you can't remember, it's really your own fault. But it's really interesting to hear what this Thomas Vitali guy is doing... This is a huge chunk of labels practically under one person. Even Synergetic ... I thought Acan owned it. Hmmm ... it explains a lot... Any more info or anything? Besides Psynina. I'm interested in this.

interesting debate... In my opinion that what people nowadays refer to as psyprog could be called Progressive Trance and not Progressive Psy-trance ... I'd have nothing against that In fact I'm calling it like that myself already. But even if everybody would do that, where would the line to be drawn? There are releases which are psychedelic and progressive aswell - ergo real Progressive Psytrance. What to do with them? Plus, if we would take out the "Psy-" syllable entirely, the term would probably be too neutral ... the connection to the psy scene, where this music not only originates, but still has a not to be denied close connection to, gets lost that way IMO. In addition to that, the genre definitions are fixed already in so many heads. Even though this forum is rather at the centre of the scene and probably even could initiate such a change, you'd still have lots of confusion...
-
I wouldn't say that. First it saves bandwith for the direct downloads in the net, second you might make the stuff accessible for more people. I agree on the rest though ... however, I'd always include release notes and refer to the correct artist of the work ... and of course no altering. If you go this way, I doubt it big time if anybody will sue or be angry at you, after all it's promotion what you're doing and it's free works anyway...

Okay, let me answer this for me personally. -How do you feel when you listen to psytrance? Excited, happy and mostly damn awesome, when it's good stuff. When sitting somewhere, I tap my feet or nod my head slightly. Also happens in the subway... When I'm running to it, then I feel even more awesome! The music generally puts me into a state of activity. Positivity. I'm excited, do things faster (housework), walk faster on the streets, am happier and more motivated to do things. It's like a magic potion, only that it works aural. I think it's because of the brainwaves ... my brain tends to think in circles, uncontrollably, various and not focused, but when the rhythm of the sound comes in, it all sort of shifts into place better and the effects are interesting. At the moment I have to give a lot of power in my life ... I have job, girlfriend, sports, friends and family and I think I would not have had the energy to bring this all so well together without psy (well, progressive to be precise). Even though I can work without psy (as I have proven on various travels where I stayed abstinent), life is just so much better with it -If you close your eyes, what do you see? Nothing. Seriously. Only when I have a headache, I do see things with closed eyes. Can be very lucid images and films actually. Or it's just colorful stuff ... which occasionally continues to stay there when I open the eyes again ... depends on the headache I have (seriously). I do not do illegal drugs btw... -What makes Psytrance so unique? Simply said, no other music gives me that energy in exactly that way. It's just that. And the fact that the music is very free and there are a lot of styles and combinations, ranging from instrumental tribal stuff (Hilight Tribe, Etnoscope,...) over twisted psychedelic trance (Hallucinogen,...) down to the old school goa trance (Dimension 5, RA) over kickass funky progressive (Pusherstreet, Magnetrixx,...) up to spacy soundscapes (S-Range), over to dark twisted stuff (Gappeq,...) till Fullon (Silicon Sound,...) and even then there's still something in between such as Atmos, Shiva Chandra, Eat Static and soooo many more... -What's the best thing about it? Energy.

ha, I had so little time last year to get acquainted with new releases that I fucked up my voting... doesn't matter that much though. The best of the decade voting is going to be better, I'm really looking forward to this one...
-
Is this really -- finally -- going to come true? First half of April? Hope it's not another hoax ... there have been too many already concerning this... I'd buy it though.
-
uh, well, good luck... such stuff is mostly produced by some media company ... made of videos in a huge library, bought together from other media companies. probably like in our TV station ... huge archives of music, takes months to listen through. sorry if that didn't help, I'd just like to point out that without a more concrete hint it's next to impossible to find out some medium-downtempo type of music video, given the fact that this might be not even known in the scene. don't you have any other hints? any samples, mantras, images, indian voices, buddhas, temples, whatever?
-
that's some mean shit... thanks for having the nerve to put up with all that @ Mars and everybody affected.

word up! Saw Vader live in January! This was awesome. ... But at the moment I'm excited. Super-excited! It's that time of the year: FINNTROLL new album NIFELVIND! And I will see this live today! PAGANFEST 2010, today in Vienna! This is going to be a MONSTROUS BLAST!
-
Yeah, people, stop the drama and the arguing and accept the universal truth that Progressive music is simply the best, beating Goa AND Psy! Muahahaha (That was a joke, mmmkay? But seriously, don't worsen the troubles that music off the mainstream has by quarreling, doesn't bring you anywhere.)

nice topic I find all very good except: request for change => Reger: must be! other than that, this is a great idea! can anybody make a little bad aum smiley for me? you know, the avatar I had for so long until I decided to go for da Panzar (no, this is not really a request ... I just want to make sure people remember it)
