I sorta get what you mean .. but you know, I like to keep it simple. The structure, the melodies. Additionally I don't listen to a lot of darkpsy, which is why I am not so used to all these effects and standard methods and "usual sounds" as you. That's why I like that piece

Hmmm, you're actually right. Let's not forget there are dodgy organizers aswell who don't pay in the end... So maybe that was a bit of a stupid advice of mine. But what to do then?

yeah, I really hope that they will do it this time... it's been way too long ... they are already on our list of "dead" artists ... very bad and you'll be the first one I recommend if they really decide to go for a free release

yeah, I'll think of you when it eventually comes to that point... But at the moment I find it only good that they are searching for a label that pays them. As I said, nothing against free releases, I love them ... but they deserve to get some monetary reward for their work.

As far as I know the guys have already been thinking about that ... but I would probably find it kind of non-fitting if they did it (and obviously it's not just me). I mean, not that I have the slightest thing against free releases, but I sorta think they deserve money for the stuff. I'd love it if they made a free EP though, as a foremeal ... like Pusherstreet did ... that would be cool! Yep, this is correct. They are going to play during the opening ceremony as far as I've heard. Would really be great if the new album would take shape aswell this year... Let's keep our fingers crossed

Hey guys! Remember ETNOSCOPE? Those who released the album Drums From the Dawn of Time? The band that used to make awesome tribal progressive trance music? Those who used live drums and stuff during their sets? Those who have been pronounced dead already quite some time ago? They haven't released anything in ages, haven't even updated their website ... one could easily be led to believe that they are dead. Which even I did... But they are still alive! They still got an album ready to release! And they are currently searching a label! Where I have this info from? I just spoke to Liam, the guy behind InYourPhaze Mastering ... and he informed me of this. He is actually involved in that Etnoscope album to an extent ... so he knows what is going on. What do you say about that?

I think both sides seem somewhat fishy. As for the contract, it was said to be cleared out "many months in advance"? Why? Why was the money (and apparently all of it!) sent so much time in advance? This is illogical. Not only is this insecure (as you have the risk that the artist makes a run with it as it apparently happened in this case), you are also losing money for the months the money is not residing on your bank account (since you are not getting paid interests)! This simply sounds fishy. Also, none of the arguments are proven. We just have one version; I encourage you to convince the other side to step up and defend themselves in a serious discussion! Then we will see what this really is about! Frozen Ghost on the other hand really cancelled his Myspace account. Why would he if he had nothing to fear? And he or his manager apparently do nothing to defend themselves? I mean, even if he's ill, the manager could at least post some message or care about the money being returned. I can understand people being enraged, using srong language, posting on all forums and such if really some unjust shit has happened ... but it's just not right to use wild accusations and diss people if you have no proof... If your money got stolen, perform the necessary legal actions to prevent the guy from escaping once he enters the country. And to avoid stress, never ever pay all of the artists fee in advance again! Pay only the flight ticket in advance (or add 25% if you trust the people or if they require it), the rest you give him after the gig!

In the past we did it with everybody posting his vote, so people were able to see what others voted. So why not keeping that system? If anybody has a problem with others seeing his votes, he wouldn't have voted in the last years either. I see no need to change that. But I also have no problem if you make it anonymous. Do what you like, I will vote anyways. I thought that free and digital releases always can be included ... or not?

really nice cover looks like a screen from a flash game such as Samorost, I'm almost tempted to drag the mouse over and click, click everywhere but it's a pity the music does not fit ... the cover would suggest a chill album imo while what one is getting is the total contrary...
