Damn, haven't even clicked on my signature once? In my opinion you clearly have a deficit when it comes to S-Range ... maybe won't float your boat that much as a Goatrance lover, but he's a pretty good progressive trance act, well, at least started as such ... and Test Tones is a classic, you should know that. Anyway, it started as a fun thread ... I don't want any of my favourite artists match up against each other, I want a new album from both, that's for damn sure. But I'm just blown away that these two acts haven't released any new album yet, it's been so long since I wrote that post above... Yes indeed, damn Based on that, I would not be so sure about the tide being in Astrals favor

EXHUMED! ... because it's still relevant Shiiit, it's 9.5 years ago since I started this Ain't that sad that these two just won't do a new one. I wanted to make a fun thread back then, but oh man, I really do have come across the thought that maybe they don't release anymore because I like them ... back then, everything that I was a fanatic of stopped releasing ... Mortiis Era 1 was another one. That's why I was starting to think that. Fortunately I have meanwhile realized that it's not that. There are tons of great other stuff out there But dang, even Mortiis came back already with his old stuff ... it really is funny, peculiar, a bit sad, but above all _damn interesting_ that these two haven't made a new album yet. Well, let's look at the status, shall we: We have both contesters made progress over the last 9 years. There have been digital releases of both of them. ASTRAL made more though... S-RANGE is remixing his stuff and plans to make "version 2.0" versions of his tracks, at least according to facebook comments. So he's NOT dead. ASTRAL are, according to what's going on in the Astral thread, "very close" to release the new album. The race is still on! And you know what? I don't know anymore who will win ... but I can tell you, the second I stop caring about either of the two, they gonna come out with the new album I bet

So here's a bit of an update on what I am up to right now. I consider this "compilation project" as a FAIL - maybe it would have been working if I had been less lazy, but I have to admit that I don't think it's entirely my fault, I just had quite little luck reaching the artists that I wanted to be on there. Now some of you may have heard of the idea that I wanted to make RTP RECORDS. Well, bugger, because I have just discovered, that there is another RTP RECORDS out there which are around already since 1991 ... they only have released so little that they are not very known in the wider world and it had not reached to me... That is crap. I will ask these guys if it's OK to keep my project name. I just like RTP RECORDS. I have dreamt of this name while showering ... for years... I am not giving up though, also project-wise I have still a few ideas and I'd like to give a sneak-peek about them. Ever heard of NFTs? Non-fungible tokens. These things are really interesting - it can practicaly be what you want, but the practical use is to prove ownership of digital art ... such as images or, in a case relevant for us, tracks. The cool thing about them is, that they can be sold smart-contract-based, so nobody could lie. The idea is to make artists do a track, I sell it as an NFT and if someone buys it, the artist can have the money that was agreed upon initially AND profit from every future transaction that is done with that piece. So if I went for that, I could also change the name of the project very easily This then also would go in tune with the remark that @psytones did, namely that maybe "RTP Records" is not a really fitting name when I don't release any RECORDS ... well, that'd be even more true if that NFT plan came to reality... And what if people don't sell me any trax? Well, hehe, I have an escape mutation ready for that aswell ... it don't need to be trax for NFTs. I can also turn images or other content into them ... and if I turned into a small-scale little "investor" that pays a few bucks to underground art projects to make an NFT out of art I like and make them partners in the NFT sales, so everybody will be happy once something sells, I'd be freakin' happy aswell. Only thing that I want to get back in are the listing fees, otherwise it's a deficit project. But other than that ... I just want to be known as a friendly guy who's givin' back into the scene. I don't mind so much in what form it'll be.

Well first I think that the song is cool. You not? Second: it's the band Go_A and according to some they are going to win the Song Contest... That doesn't interest us on here that much, but the band is called like the music we love: Goa, short for Goatrance So beware when the hype hits. If you say you like Goa music, some may think it's this band and not Goatrance. If they win, remember you heard it from me first

A look at the figures. The Globox - X-Rax Spex video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zO4xGTCcwsQ currently has at this moment: 3.800 plays, 233 likes, 3 dislikes. and 14 comments in 6 threads So I think you shouldn't give up so early, we are climbing. Now I admit that occasionally I send a few views over because I still got some credit at that company, but it really isn't that much, maybe 3 to 4 hundred (altogether I mean) ... my policy is: slow and continuous increase beats big pushes because the algorithm checks that there is something wrong when you push large and fast. I hope you will leave the track online, I will watch with great interest where we will be in 1 to 2 years

Offtopic, but I think that the Access Virus series are quite good synths. With this, you could even do a creative move and do a "vaccine" track produced entirely with sounds from an Access Virus Unfortunately I don't own any of them... Nice one btw @recursion loop

I think it's full of plays of words, I'd expect it to be ... and if you translate the lyrics, they pretty openly seem to refer homosexuality, at least if you enter it in Google. So, you are right (in my opinion), but they don't do it as plainly as you might think if you refer to the chorus ... there she's saying these words: Сію вію, Сію вію конопелечки Сію вію, Сію вію зеленесенькі which should translate to: these eyelashes, these eyelashes hemp plants, these eyelashes, these eyelashes greenish ... at least with all translating power available to me Altogether it might seem that she's saying something about "making noise" and plays of words to be homosexual ... so it's quite plain actually. Keep in mind though that I don't speak a single word Ukrainian or Russian (I can't even swear right according to feedback) ... so I could be super wrong. Anyone can crosscheck it? Mind you, there's two versions of the song out there, I like this one more that I posted here...
-
So YouTube now thinks I might be Ukrainian, because I get a lot of ukrainian music recommendations. Latest: Go_A ... I found the name funny because of the reference here to this forum - but dang, they're good, seriously ... have a listen: Some people say (in some reaction videos) that this is gonna be the songcontest winner? OMG?! Go_A may be the new hype? Well, we've always been quite close, without the underscore, haven't we? Your opinion on this one? I find it absolutely great

No news so far anymore

I saw them and it were the two of them ... the gig was advertised as Magnetrixx and Morganixx on the lineup though, I believe. But in your case it could have been that Stefan was sick and Heike just played the set alone ... she's a DJane after all (Morgana)...
-
Wow, that's great news ... do you know if there's going to be a physical one? (Because I don't have it in physical ) You probably meant MORGANIXX. There's Magnetrixx = Stefan Lewin himself and Morganixx = Stefan & Heike although some Magnetrixx tracks are also made by both of them ... so you can't go by that rule of thumb either Oh and don't forget Autiomatrixx = Magnetrixx and Audiomatic
-
And don't forget Hatikwa & Datacult - Scientific Mutation https://www.discogs.com/de/Hatikwa-Scientific-Mutation/release/13190968

I used to like Beat Bizarre a lot, yes ... and he's still around as a solo project (at least he released something last year)
-
Ummm ... wasn't a "Vegetarian" a term for somebody who had not yet tried LSD? I think we had this very conversation right here on this forum maybe 16 years ago where I read it ... oh wait, this thread is just as old

He should check out the Growling Machines remixes of Celldweller: (oh and Celldweller in general, he will like, but that's not electro) That one maybe too: Oh and maybe he's one of those guys that already know and like Pendulum (which, if he doesn't know, he should go check out a.s.a.p. because they are the most metal<-> electro (dnb to be specific) crossover that I know) ... then he should check out the Quemists and Zardonic: ... but with that video it's rather: "metal for electro fans" ... I'd say and then there's the whole Retro Wave genre that will vers likely appeal to metal fans aswell ... I can recommend Dan Terminus but anything by NRW will probably do

I know it's not psytrance, but the Mayday is going online aswell and making a stream ... might as well drop by and catch Anthony Rother play live if you've got nothing better to do:

Let me guess Still no sign of it, right?

As for the AI music, I am going to be very modest ... I want: A new S-RANGE album. And a Magnetrixx album. Oddly enough, a new Etnoscope album is not needed to be generated by AI - we rather need a plain "unintelligent" electric shocker to get Raz up and going ... and forgive me that I said this, because I don't even know him personally, but I can report first hand that even trying to get into contact is already difficult at the moment ... for me Okay that is pwnage ... cool stuff ... I want a psytrance one
-
Took me till today to find this (gonna pretend that the underrated-ness of the track is responsible for that), but indeed, Magnetrixx is also still alive - or at least he was in 2019, which is still quite recent: I think Didgeridoo is a fabulous track ... what do you think?
-
Found this, had to share it: It's so odd for me to see these images I know from modern "goa" videos and have these guys play metal ... and it's really not bad ... hope it's the same for you
-
Maybe both? We need more! Imma see about it. Maybe I'll just buy tiny amounts so they don't take you down... We are trying to create a self-runner on youtube and try to trigger the algorithm, by all means at our disposal

Hallucinogen - Third Toke (TR089, Twisted Records)
RTP replied to psytones's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Cheers for the laugh I had to wait all day actually to finally find an April Fools joke ... people have become way too serious and sad because of the Covid situation right now... -
That's a pity As of now, the video is at 2.251 views, 225 likes and 2 dislikes. That's a considerable number of views that was either not delivered or removed by youtube. Understood - won't buy more as it's pointless and might only get you in trouble. But we learnt something, didn't we? Or not? Edit: apparently removed by youtube - they have a very specific method to detect these kind of fake views and remove them if they seem shady ... the numbers aren't faked, but the views get removed if not acquired properly Oh and I think we DID learn some stuff ... at least this is the way to NOT do it. Maybe do it with advertising? Advertise the video, then you will get more views? I won't pay for advertising though...
