hey, that was my own idea It really was! At least I firmly believe that I was the first one. The first one who spoke of a need for a name change for our music. I wanted to reaname it into "intelligent psychedelic trance music" ... yes, yes ... go find the post, it is here somewhere! And I'm STILL for a name change. Maybe not something as elitist as "intelligent psytrance", that's a bit too far ... but still, I want a different name. suggestions?

right, right, right That's the reason why I don't like the majority of full on ... it simply is unintelligent! So unintelligent it pissed me off! Last time as I heard this music at a party I was thinking I was like on a fucking Scooter concert ... only the dude that screams "move your ass!" was missing. I mean ... I really don't like to hear a Scooter concert and see hundreds of retards jumping to the music and screaming at every break like they all just came in their pants together when I go to a psy party, please no. It reminds me - like the crowds on chav trance parties - of the retardedness of humans and of their stupidness and I then get all pissed off and angry ... and that is really not the feeling I want to go home with in my heart I don't dislike all full on, just the unintelligent stuff! But unfortunately there's faaar too many of it out there and they're making faaar too much money with this crap, which is another reason why I'm pissed off at it

I second everybody's praising. For me Hydroponic Garden is without doubt the BEST psychedelic ambient album EVER! Many other Ultimae releases come close, but this one is the best. Not even the second one from CBL themselves could exceed it - although that one too is brillant. Song-by-song review is unnecessary in this case because every song on Hydroponic Garden is brillant and they're also brilliantly blended into each other. I LOVE THIS ALBUM! It deserves a solid 10/10 ... and that's a privilege I only give to a very, very few...

WTF A CD breaking by itself? I never thought anything like that is possible at all... Shit, if this would happen to any of my Ultimaes ... god no, I don't even wanna think about it... Thanks, guys ... another thing to for me worry when going to sleep besides the outbreaks of fires, burglars, gas explosions, heart attacks...

I just read the interview for the first time feel a bit stupid, because it's already quite old and I never registered that it exists ... but it's a very good interview nonetheless! Much information there!

My votes on the poll thing were YES for trance, because there's new Matenda coming out, there's new S-Range coming out (so god wants it ), two albums I'm really looking forward to ... and a safe NO for Chill, because there surely isn't going to be anything as brilliant Carbon Based Lifeforms - World Of Sleepers in 2007, not even the new Aes Dana (okay, this one maybe ... but still I believe no!)

They'll come here in March this year... And I will go, no matter what crap they play! Because I MUST ... I have never seen them before - should have seen them last year but they were too wasted to catch the flight to Austria, so the party got cancelled Now I must see them ... to me they're like the godfathers of psytrance ... I mean hey, they made stuff like People Can Fly and Mahadeva and stuff, so I must see them and if it's only to see live how much they suck nowadays, I must! And if they play new stuff like Open Society it won't be even that bad I think

Well, this argument was rather more valid in the past, when vinyls were played with gramophones with horribly scratching needles ... I mean, yes, there's still a needle on my vinyl player, but it's not scratching, you know, it's softer and slides gently and doesn't wear off the vinyls - or at least so little it's hardly noticeable - especially when the etchings are deep, such as in the EPs of nowadays. I have listened to some stuff of mine quite often already and there's no difference in the sound ... maybe after a hundred listens you'll notice it or so... And the warm sound being better is a personal thing ... for me a warmer sound sounds BETTER than the clinically clean and "cold" one on CDs...

Noma stopped making music as far as I've heard ... friends of him try to convince him to start again though, so let's hope they have success

got it ... and I've already listened through It's a top notch ambient album ... I absolutely love Carbon Based Lifeforms and with this new release they didn't disappoint me - although IMO this one's not as brilliant as their Hydroponic Garden. But still, this is my favourite ambient album for 2006 ... Ultimae didn't release any other albums (apart from two compilations) this year anyway... did you already discover the hidden track?

of course... even the Visa student card is only free for the first 2 years and then you pay (and it's not that you can cancel after one month ... if I took that one I won't get rid of the Visa bastards anymore ... argh)...

Besides that the changes of the scene that are taking place here first hit our small country usually much later, so I'm afraid I'll have to wait at least till end of 2008 for this Yes, I do think a bit in the same way ... prog-psy and house will mix even more. I even see myself going to some house parties in the future because psy parties are getting too fullon for me and I have been to a house-like party this year and the sound wasn't even as bad as I expected mainly because of those bit similar elements it already has to prog psy... And yeah, high expectations on future Tribal Vision releases here too That indeed is something I too look out for! Oh yes, Ultimae too will have some good releases in 2007 I think ... but that's not surprising as I can't think of any Ultimae release that was not good MATENDA!!! Yes, yes, yes! Definitely!
