I badly need this track so if somebody knows where I can buy this track or if somebody can help me via PM I would be more than happy. I searched all websites related to this one and couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance. P.S. - it was released on Phaethons Voyage compilation: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/okt/okt1cd002.html

Click here for big image Artist: SynSUN Album: Sounds Of Cosmic Lifeforms Label: Phototropic Records Style: Goa Trance Tracklist: Quazar (08:29) Space Sirens (08:34) Fight Fire With Fire (07:33) Gagarinz Trip (06:33) Medusa (05:17) Psy Hit (06:45) Protoplasma (07:45) The New Creation (2011 Mix) (07:43) First time I saw on facebook announcement for a new SynSUN remastered album on Phototropic, I wasn't that much hyped and excited about it, mostly because I'm not a big fan of previous SynSUN's re-issues on austrian based Goa trance label - Phototropic. However I decided to give a chance to Sounds Of Cosmic Lifeforms and I'm so glad that I did. First positive thing that I noticed is super-crystal clear sound and I really enjoyed listening this one on my soundspeakers (and unfortunaley I can't say same thing for 70% of Goa trance music that can be found online) so kudos to Digitoxin (Phototropic Records owner) for very solid work with mastering. Album kicks off with Quazar and it's solid Astral Projection inspired tune with interesting melody around 6th minute mark, nothing super-spectacular but overall pretty much good track for morning hours. Space Sirens got more mystique atmosphere and track overall sounds much more darker and in-your-face, however I disliked too much of heeeeya-heeeeya oriental male vocals. Third track got same name as legendary opener from Metallica's Ride The Ligthening (Fight Fire With Fire), at the very first minute we can hear nice acid wobbles with guitar riffs in background, with nice build-up but it doesn't lead anywhere. Next one is Gagarinz Trip and it's true goa trance beast, powerful drum-kick with swirling melodies and effects in background are just sweet as hell, love every second of it, especially after 5th minute - nice Filteria/Pleiadians melodic build-up for a perfect peak and ending. So far this one is pure winner. Medusa is the name of next track and it starts pretty much simple and not-so-much innovative and I got feeling that this one is more like some work in progress track, not happy about it. Luckly, next track Psy Hit starts nicely and right after 2nd minute mark we got epic melody in background, it just perfectly describes the title of album, pure interstellar trance ride through Cosmos. Pity, ending of track is a bit harsh, but hey, after Medusa this one was superb. By the way, who came with such a awful name Psy Hit? Lucky number 7 is Protoplasma, nice party track with straight-forward attitude, nothing super-special, nice goa trance groove with solid synth-work. Last track is The New Creation (2011 Mix) and it got same mystique atmosphere like Space Sirens from the beginning of this CD. This one got also heavy usage of Trance-Dance or Ionized-a-like melodic parts and actually I like it a lot (not saying that we got copycats, just that I like that melodic feeling in the track), anyways, super track for ending of this *I must say short* 60-minutes album. Conclusion - Very nice goa trance album with some lovely tracks like: Gagarinz Trip (III), Quazar (II), The New Creation (2011 Mix) (II) and some not so lovely: Medusa & Fight Fire With Fire. It will probably find it's place in homes of many old/newschool goa trance addicts, especially because we are talking about SynSUN and they aren't some obscure project, they got impressive discography, no matter the fact that I personaly dislike the most of it, especially their recent full-on stuff. Just to mention that I find this cover artwork ugly as hell and I don't like it at all, orginal version looks just epic. For previews or orders you can check out Psyshop or Phototropic Records website.

I just wanna send cheers to all people who gave their votes to Neogoa netlabel and our releases, second year in a row we are on 2nd place as a netlabel and that is best confirmation for our hard work, in less then two years. Besides that it's nice to see that two our compilations finished in top 5, on 3rd and 4th place, shame we haven't won this year for best compilation but hey, still it's nice to be in top 5.

Trinodia - Human History (UAFR019)
Richpa replied to Imba's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
They're releasing a bunch of various sub-genres lately - from progressive and ambient to psytrance and goatrance, don't see any reason for wondering here. -
Actually I like it, it's colorful and organic. Indeed there are few moments on album where you can feel that sahanai overload but overall it's decent downtempo album.

Got nice vibe but it's too fast for my taste, good luck anyways Natan!

I couldn't find anywhere Basilisk statement that he's quiting with work on Ektoplazm, as far as I know he's now on a trip over the Asia and Europe in summer and after that he will post announcement about Ektoplazm. I'm sure that Ektoplazm as a website and good soruce for quality music will survive but that is based on my own wishes, let us see what will Basilisk decide in upcoming months.

modern ways of keeping in touch with the scence?
Richpa replied to Lemmiwinks's topic in General Psytrance
No matter the fact that Neogoa as netlabel doesn't exist anymore I still try to post any update posts/updates related to Goa trance music on facebook page. There are 800 people and many of them gets their news fix via our page, I even added label owners who are on facebook to add their updates aswell from the first hand, plus Neogoa in it's favorites tab got over 300 pages for getting updates, all you need to do is to switch your personal account into page account and on the index you only see news from label and artists, not bad, huh? Same thing with Psynews fb account (this counts only for moderators of page). Speaking of Psynews, there are already 100 followers, not bad, hopefully more people will join! -
modern ways of keeping in touch with the scence?
Richpa replied to Lemmiwinks's topic in General Psytrance
It's not a problem, if you wish I can create that too -
LOL. Same situation is here in most parts of Dalmatia (Croatian region), people are too traditional but still it's great place for having wonderful psytrance and goa outdoors and we did some few years ago. Now there is nice festival Lost Theory that takes place a bit norther in Lika region (they are also hard core Christians). Still I can't complain, It seems that people on Balkans are in nature too traditional, still I'm also traditional but I worship our orginal origins which are based on Slavic and Pagan culture in 7th century before they christinized people here. Hopefully in upcoming years, Goa trance culture will grow more here, not only in bigger cities but in smallers cities aswell. My hometown got population cca 10 000 and there are 4 trance DJ's and over 50 people who dig Goa trance music, that's not bad at all for such a small town.

Thanks man, for creating fractals I usually use Ultrafractal 4 and for designing more complex patterns I use Photoshop because of it's great tools. Cheers

Great track from Croatian pagan/folk black metal band Stribog from album ''U okovima vječnosti (In Shackles Of Eternity) Golden fields of ancient times Endless chains of mighty giants Velvet seas now touch the skies Slava's flame shines so bright! In these vastlands of forgotten worlds I pray to gods to shield my soul! When all seems to be lost I sense the presence from above While the night is descending in the forests of old Her flame will shine through the rain and the storm Walk her way while she flies in skies of thunder and gray Follow the Silver path Drawn by hand from above It will lead you to The lands of frost and gold Gaze upon the shine That warms this night It will make your way Through these vastlands of grey Slava carry my song Through the forests of Oak Show me paths I can not see Lead me to victory!

Nice to see Croatian folks here in top 10, especially because our scene is much smaller and less devolped than major scenes in Europe
