Here is my list of Shpongle releases by my personal favorites: #1 - Tales Of The Inexpressible (2001) My favorite Shpongle record up to date, true masterpiece. Eight tracks and still can't name my favorite one here. #2 - Nothing Lasts, But Nothing Is Lost (2005) 20 tracks, all mixed into a great story. Probably Shpongle's record with the most influences from world-music, ethno, samba, and whatnot here. ''Levitation Nation'' & ''When Shall I Be Free?'' my fav tunes on this one. #3 - Are You Shpongled? (1998) The most relaxing Shpongle album, pure downtempo & ambient journey. #4 - Ineffable Mysteries From Shpongleland (2009) Nice album, sounds very similar to #2 but with bigger presence of live instruments. #5 - The Remixes/Remixed (2003) Few cool remixes from well known psychedelic artists here. I suggest to avoid The God Particle and Unreleased Remixes, I don't find it good as their studio albums and some older EP's.

Great, thanks. Uth is doing some outstanding downtempo/psychill music, now I'm gonna have my eye on his uptempo stuff aswell

Couldn't agree more, one of my favorite remixes on this album. Hopefully he'll release more stuff like this.

In my opinion one of the worst Iboga releases up to date, including their LP.

I'll go for a Pulse Vol.1. That's my first CD that introduced psychedelic trance culture and art to me. Besides that, it's hell of a compilation too. Some of the most important projects back than are featured there with awesome tunes. Here is a discogs link: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Pulse-This-Is-Psychedelic-Trance/master/304252

R.I.P. Neogoa (2010.-2011.)
Richpa replied to Richpa's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Alright, now you can update your bookmarks, because website and database is now available on a new server and via new url: http://www.ektoplazm.com/neogoa thanks to Ektoplazm and Basilisk for keeping this website alive and for huge help and assistance. At this moment I'm really busy with finishing upcoming NG releases for July, so I'll make redirection page from the old adress to a new one in upcoming days. Also thanks to all of you who wanted to help out with this issue, especially to Mars and Suntrip! One more thing: For the second time I contacted label owners and at this moment we got 4-5 labels interested. So in upcoming days I'll make special accounts for them so they'll be able to post freshest annoucements and news related to their artists/releases/plannings/parties directly to Neogoa website. Mdk is also preparing some fresh reviews, so hopefully it will be online soon. -
Wow, this might be one of the best compilations...can't wait to check it!

Actually I had loooong hair two times already (just like some death metal frontmans) but one day i decided to cut my hair and my girlfriend freaked out, so now on I'm growing some bushes on my head 3rd time already and it's really pain in the ass. But if your girlfriend give you some serious ULTIMATUMS, than you have to obey. *crying like a little bitch who wants to be a skinhead* nah, here is some haaair (1-2 years ago): Soon after, I decided to cut off all that mess...

Yeah, that's me reading Max Factor's (95-98;10-?) replys

I'm not a such a wise guy. I just don't want that some outsider drop some bullcrap on something that I'm building and doing my best to improve it, that's all. So you're a troll and you should get some warns or something from nice guys who care about this board. Let us all be drunk/wasted and start some discussions on random topics? Not bad, huh? Thanks for checking out the website, I really appriciate it, glad you like it dude. I really don't know about your issues here, but please try not to mix up your personal life with this virtual stuff. Sometime it's really pain in the ass, especially if you can't control it. Just for good old times, huh? Something for ya http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbxboW3VhKM

Love Letters To The Soul (27:23) Body Of Light (Sophia Mix) (9:20) Badbury Rings (14:11) Multiverse (11:58) Fire Horse & Storm (6:12) Such a shame that no one posted any reviews yet for this gem. However I'm gonna drop some toughts about their latest effort entitled Gaia Sophia. First of all I'm really big fan of their work and for me they are really one of the best downtempo psychedelic projects around. Their last record Flight Of The Urbus, released in 2008. was probably their worst album/effort so far, I really did not like it.Self-Titled, Dialogue Of The Speakers or Spontaneous Illumination were outstanding albums. So my expectations for Gaia Sophia album were high. Album opener Love Letters To The Soul is probably one of the longest psychill/ambient tunes ever and definetley longest Entheogenic tune up to date with over 27 minutes. It's hard to follow every segment of this tune. First part of the track, which starts with nice female ''orient-type'' vocal and with nice melodies in background - true magic, real Entheogenic in best possible way. Track kicks off with some 4/4 beats around 14 minute and it was huuge suprise, really nice to see that guys who are producing downtempo music whole time, can bring out some nice uptempo beat aswell. The best thing here is that they kept their trademark sound and thoose nice effects and melodies goes well alongside uptempo parts. For me one of the best Entheogenic tunes so far. Multiverse tune was also one of my favorites on this album, really great storytelling and super cool melodies and effects around spiced up with interesting vocals. Other three tracks on this album are also great but I always love to mention only tunes that shocked me in a absolutley positive way. This album got only 5 tracks but don't be afraid, it's almost 70 minutes long and if you like psychill music in general or Entheogenic and their work, go and get this album. In my case, this is probably my favorite downtempo release in 2011. It reminds a lot on their Spontaneous Illumination album from 2003. so if you liked that one, you gonna probably like this one too. In the end, just to mention great cover artwork design, love it and it fits great with music. Album rating: 8,4/10 Samples / Digital download: Here

Well it's really nice to see that people who actually doesn't follow or doesn't know anything about topic subject are present here to give their opinions about mentioned. First of all I'm not offended or anything similar but if you gonna speak about money or something here, first of all, be nice and go to www.ektoplazm.com and check how much NeoGoa as netlabel published and released stuff for free... You're speaking about evolutionary process and something here, let me tell you that from the very first day I updated people, followers and all other boys and girls who liked anything related with NeoGoa with our activites. For me logical thing was to inform people that I'm planning to improve our releases, to push even harder in next year and I don't see anything wrong there. Is bad thing to pay your artists some money for their efforts? Is bad thing to be able to pay proper mastering without asking yourself are you gonna have some money tommorrow for lunch? Is bad thing to invest some money for proper PR? Next month, NeoGoa will release 2 EP's and after that 2 compilations until the end of this year, all that stuff will be available for free on Ektoplazm...there will be tracks from artists who regularly release stuff on well respected labels who publishes and releases CD's every month or two, but no one will speak about it. Easier way is to be a troll and post some random bullshit on someone's hard work. I'm such a fool for replying to you afterall. stupid Ned Stark is stupid.

Yeah, I'm gussing that Samuel wanted to make some kind of tribute with this tune. However I really never noticed similarity before someone posted Deedrah remix and than I was like WOW, that really sounds identical
