Few questions about drugs, artists and music.
Richpa replied to deepXcode's topic in General Psytrance
Not this again. Waiting for Afgin to enlight us all about connection between psychedelic music and psychedelic drugs. -
I am sorry...if you want me to leave, i will.

You should, stay. Especially because this forum needs more interesting topics and new users and it's really nice to see that every day we can read a lot new topics and posts. Only thing you should avoid in the future is to posting in wrong threads, for example Neogoa - problems topic isn't really a good place for drug and spirituality stuff, it's more about music/production and development of genre itself /that is my opinion and perception of that topic. Plus, small advice for next posts, try to type your posts in ''fragments'', it's hard to read 30 sentences one after another, without any breaks between them. -
Neogoa isn't only a netlabel, we also serve to people as a database and info site so thoose 149 mentioned releases are ALL releases, released by various labels in last 8-9 years, read again my post. Anyways, all netlabel stuff from Neogoa is in top menu, while reviews, articles and lists are on the sidebars.

Check out list again, there isn't any ''Youtube Records'' stuff there and it won't be. Siam isn't releasing his music on Youtube only FYI. He already released one track on Future Architecture and we also spoke about next release(s).

We finally managed to update our releases database (*happy dancing*), so now we got all Newschool Goa Trance releases at one place sorted out(must say that Somazoid's list helped a lot). Just for the record, 149 RELEASES so far (55 of them ARE TOTALLY FREE FOR DOWNLOAD), so check our page and maybe you'll find some good stuff that you haven't heard yet [download links included]. Let us know if we missed something! LINK

Thanks for recommendations, probably gonna check Brother's Yard

Actually there will be made maybe 200 CD's, pardon CDr's so if you catch Natan doing somewhere near you contact him about real stuff on CD.

Trinodia - Inspired Brains -
I'm just gonna post some examples for you (maybe you missed something) Can you please explain this ''polished'' meaning, are you reffering to mastering quality or something else. Asking that because I was reading few months ago around here how some people complain (including myself) on mastering issues in a lot of releases. Few examples that I think of (and which are IMHO acid-driven): #1 | #2 | | #4 | | Only nitzho stuff that I've heard comes from Sita or Ezel Ebed (plus few tracks from Agneton/Goalien/Pandemonium on Phototropic's compilations) Spiritual Antares - Exodus Ra - 9th Goasia - Dancing With The Blue Spirit Afgin - Astral Experience Somnesia - Rainbow Source Sci-Fi E-Mantra/Suufi Astrolab - Astrograms Artifact303 - Back To Space Psychedelic Quest - Alternate Constellations V/A - Dimensional Gateway Red Gravity - MLDNRG V/A - Pure Planet series Sky Technology - Time and Space Tribal Well, there i really can't think of any good examples, maybe Grand-Cheff Voodoo GoAttack or NK47 - Outer Space Shaman, but it's not tribalistic that much Anyhow, just wanted to say that I agree with your toughts in some parts, especially that this scene is maybe overloaded with positive/sunshine goa trance and we're maybe don't have more twisted/darker stuff around here, and I hope that we'll have some kind of balance in near future
-
Actually, that's pretty much good description
-
+1 Keep up with great work Ewoud

Govorit(i) on Croatian/Serbian/Bosnian means speak/talk it seems that it got similar meaning on Russian too.

I would love to hear more stuff with fast tempos, crazy melodies and darker atmospheres included aswell. From a recent times stuff like Tesla from Travma or Inner Cyclone type of sound from Mindsphere. In 90's this one really reminds on mentioned ones. Hopefully more artists will make something in that direction http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kduZ8BqT-5E And yeah, here is few more examples. This one is from 2001. but it really describes what type of goa trance sound I'm hopeing that will be presented by new artists http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HebZ0yu19u0

Actually Natan wanted to feature mastering from Tim so he made a deal with mastering himself and I always try to support artists decissions. Anyhow thanks a lot for reviewing this one, probably it will be on Ektoplazm tonight. Video for Supernova track by Trancevisuals (available in HD) http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4jKh3URKCk

I agree with you here, they're pretty much different type of artists with different sound. I don't know why he mentioned thoose two examples. Well where did you found EP, because afaik it's still not published on Ektoplazm (just checked my newsletter)? One of the best in last couple of years, probably it will be my favorite album in 2011. Edit First of all I see that you're huuge AP fan so I'm guessing why you disagree with me in a first place. I don't see Astral Projection as something that can't be compared with nowdays ''similar-style of melodic goa trance'' music and artists, afterall, many of those artists have been influenced by Astral Projection sound and indeed mentioned ones are releasing melodic goa trance with warm approach. Maybe best example of my toughts can be found on Suntrip's V/A - Energy Waves. But again, I saw that you're comparing Psychowave and Artifact303 and still don't see what kind of connection there exists (ok I understand that both of them are into modern goa trance) but their style is absolutley different. You're speaking in the name of global psytrance community here? Man c'mon you can see around here that many people really appriciate what mentioned labels are publishing and releasing. Personaly I think that Suntrip and Cronomi really stand out as top modern goa trance publishers and their styles are different but unique aswell. I didn't find any other label that release music like Cronomi or any other label that release quality goa trance like Suntrip. I don't know, I can tell you that personaly I'm gonna miss if one of them stop doing what they're doing now. Speaking of Space Baby, they release really nice music, for example Alienapia debut is one of the strongest albums in genre, but I don't see Space Baby as a goa trance label because they release different type of psychedelic trance.

Trippy, spacey, floaty, simply beautiful. One of the best Suntrip's efforts so far. This one gonna be probably album of the year 2011. I'm gonna post more impressions soon.
-
Matter of perception. In my opinion they're representing ''warm'' sound in best possible way. Just put a name ''Astral Projection'' and replace with any of them and people will start praising thoose tunes like nothing before. Sad but true

Artifact303, Astrancer, Liquid Flow, Antares, to name a few.
