  1. You're right, the word cebula on Polish means onion and he wanted some galaxy-alike onion on the artwork to fit with the EP name. For sure, not the most exciting thing to design Thanks for your review Mike, as always interesting to read

  3. Thank you There was minor glitch in the mix for a less than a second around third minute, which unfortunately we couldn't fix since it was the only file PsySutra had for that track. However, I hope it won't spoil anyones listening pleasure
  4. Now available on Ektoplazm too: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/psysutra-nebulla-cebulla
  5. here is overview of 2016 in numbers, made for you guys a bit earlier than expected. What can I say except THANK YOU ALL for supporting the work of Neogoa Records and all great people involved into making these releases possible! Big size photo can be found here (6000x4000) - http://bit.ly/Neogoa2016
  6. Oh, I get it now. Well yeah, that might be the issue, but I hope they will recognize that (and some other things which are suggested here) and make the needed improvements in future.
  7. From technical perspective, Bandcamp player have really great integration with other websites, especially with Wordpress where you can customize the size, look and feature of player it self, something similar like SoundCloud player, but with few additional features when it comes to design. Speaking about the number of playes, you can add any number on certain track for stream before someone decides to buy it. We keep 3 plays per track I think. One of the most important aspects is that Bandcamp that most labels are using is actually the Bandcamp for artists. The labels Bandcamp looks something like this, where you can run multiple artist accounts from one place I think - https://metalblade.bandcamp.com/ and it have some additional features such as music videos. Search option might not be the best thing, but so far I don't have any issues with getting new and interesting music by browsing through tags and Bandcamp discover feature: https://bandcamp.com/#discover
  8. Whenever I see new topics by op, this old video come to my mind
  9. You can add tracklist (without adding files) or do both, add certain tracks and attach files to it (it works for physical sales), for digital you can always have private album streaming/download codes. If you have mailing list, you can generate album or track codes (100 is minimum I think) and send it over to supporters, even it has automation with services such as MailChimp. There is a huge 'how to do' help topics at Bandcamp so the best way is to get into it and see is it doable

  11. Everything you said is correct! Glad to see that Goa music is slowly expanding on Bandcamp, the best service for fans, independent labels and artists.
  12. I have to bump this review topic for couple of reasons: First reason is to thank you all from bottom of my heart for posting your honest and detailed reviews. It means so much for all of us at Neogoa and to Kris to see so many people enjoying this one and I hope many other people (who somehow missed the initial Bandcamp release) will now go and download it for free at Ektoplazm. Even it has been only 12 days since it appeared on Ektoplazm, it already have 4600 downloads and hopefully it will find it's way to other lovers of psychedelic trance music in general (not only Goa-fans). So yeah, thank you once again! The other reason is the fact that we're entering The Realm Of A New Dawn phase, and I have recieved new material, so I can't describe how excited and emotional I am at the moment. If you enjoyed Lazarus Rising, I'm sure you will enjoy the second part of the album. We have teaser for 'The Night Creatures' track up on YouTube and you can listen to 8 minutes of new material there, but the most exciting moments are about to be revealed and experienced on physical release. Genesis track will be available from December 15th to December 24th for streaming via SoundCloud in full lenght (see below). Last reason is my personal stand point about this album. Without being biased, it's my favorite release published this year and I know some people won't like the fact that it doesn't have a lot in common with the old-UX sound, but we never wanted to re-cycle that, Kris is the true artist and professional who always goes one step further when it comes to music, always trying to make as much as possible when it comes to details and influences in his music, but yet creating something unique and distinctive. Perhaps it's not published on physical media (yet), perhaps it's free release and due to that fact, many people will avoid it or just miss it (because they don't follow the digital scene), but I have to be honest and open about this one here - Lazarus Rising offers something refreshing and exciting, without going the safe route and after being experienced live, this album is my pick for 2016. Even it was a strong year with many other great albums and compilations, none of them touched the core where trance resides inside of me as Lazarus did. I smiled, I danced on meadow listening to it live, I had strong feelings when I first heard it and now, almost a half year after it still resonates stronger than before. I guess that is the most important indicator when we talk about the good music. Sorry if I went too emotional or personal, usually I don't like to post reviews or opinions about the music we release at Neogoa, but I really had to throw out some thoughts and feelings about this album. Anyway, I hope Lazarus Rising will be everyones soundtrack to life, joy, positive emotions or in the end, just a good friend who will be there besides you whenever you need some quality and inspiring music... - https://soundcloud.com/neogoarecords/ux-genesis
  13. Ominous Doctrines Of The Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm album was a such a great experience for me! In other news, another neckbreaker
  14. Lately he was busy getting out the Cryomatter album (alongside with already mentioned Xenofish) and it has been published on Ektoplazm for free download. Regarding the Neogoa release(s), track selection and mastering for the first album in trilogy is done and as far as I know he is now busy with the artwork. We're not sure about the exact release date yet. However, we already have confirmed dark Goa track for Dimensional Gateway 4 (Veil Of The Moon) compilation to be released in February 2017, so hopefully we won't have to wait too long to get the new Cybernetika album online. In any case, when we get all the details I'll post the album annoucement here on Psynews
  15. Even I never was that much into Crossing Mind music, without any doubt Stéphane is one of the few musicians in Goa scene who makes distinctive music with signature sound. It is emotional, it has unusual melodies and warm feeling attached to it. I would say, one who fits very well with the general idea (or concept) of Suntrip Records. New album offers all thoose things, but it does in a slightly different way and perhaps it might be a reason why some people are still digesting Beyond Duality album. For me personally it was enjoyable experience, since I didn't have any big expectations and as I said, I never was big fan of CM music. Maybe it's not perfect album and some people might say that his previous albums are better, still Beyond Duality shouldn't be missed especially if you like your Goa music melodic and warm, and in that segment, this one does the really good work. Also, the painting featured on artwork is gorgeous. (4/5). - Speaking about the reviews and general opinion about Goa trance music, it's not a secret that new wave of Goa music actually isn't new anymore, mostly because we have a lot of new musicians, some old guys are back and labels are doing their best to deliver that music to the audience. If this one was released 5-6-7 years ago, without any doubt it would get more praise and attention, but I guess it's more or less the same thing with any new Goa release nowdays. The standard it self is higher and people get enough of music through the year so it's natural thing for average Goa-head to become, hmmm...how to say it...picky. It's also logical thing for anyone who invests time, creativity, resources into music to be a bit emotional towards reviews or other people's experiences of their work, but I honestly feel that different opinions, ideas and general feedback are always helpful, no matter in what shape, size or flavour they're coming. Psynews still remains as one of the finest online sources for getting a feedback on certain Goa release and I always imagine, what if we're releasing progressive trance or...darkpsy, we barely see thoose sub-genres covered in reviews section and truth to be told, Goa music is on the top when it comes to interaction here on this forum for many years.
  16. Thanks for your reviews guys. I have to say that I was very excited when I recieved his demo. For me personally it's something unusual, at least when it comes to nowdays Goa music and that was one of the main reasons why we decided to release it. Probably it won't find it's place among people who are more into melodic Goa trance, but for the folks who don't hesitate to get deeper into darker Goa, with legit oldschool influence, this might do the work. If I have to make some comparation with other releases on Neogoa, perhaps it fits with some music released by Dragon Twins, Arronax or Protorai. Without any doubt, we will have more Negans in the future.
  17. Is that good or bad? I never was into Cydonia as some of you here, but the last track on this EP has been my favorite for a while
  18. For a brief second I thought you reffered to NATO. Anyway, racism or any kind of intolerance or hate towards someone who is different sucks, and no matter what movement will be the loudest out there, the main issue is how young people are educated, not only in schools but in their homes as well.
  19. Well that is true, usually when you have already known artist you can get support for 10% of total number of downloads, even it doesn't cover all the expenses it helps to keep things running and thank God, Goa trance scene still have a lot of people who are recognizing this. It is also one of the ways how audience/fans can be involved into work of the label, they're directly investing their money into music and the quality of certain release. I know it might sound too cliche, but every release that pops up on Bandcamp or any other digital platform is ripped within a day (no matter is it free, name your price or has some price attached to). That's just the way how things works nowdays. I have to get back to YouTube, even it's just a minor part of whole release process, but believe it or not, 200 views on certain videos (prior to the release) means more than having your video published after the release of album/compilation, because if you're creating video with all info and links, it connects new audience with the work of label and artist. Unlike Facebook, where suggestion pages aren't in pair with preffered interest of certain music lover, YouTube still have good algorythm that suggests videos and channels in appropriate way. The other way is when it comes to building the audience on YouTube, it's hard to get new subscribers and people who will be returning visitors to channel, but for example when you post new content to (let's say 1000 followers on Facebook) it will be visible to 100-200 people, but when you post new video on YouTube, every subscriber gets the notification and it's visible at his index page of YouTube. That is big and important difference. I know it might seem confusing and weird, but when you get into these things it actually makes sense and you can feel the difference after some time. For me personally, I keep my subscription list on YouTube updated and I actually like when I get the email that new Proxeeus or Imba album/track is available for streaming directly from label's YouTube channel, and truth to be told a lot of (younger) Goa heads prefer YouTube as their main source for new music and releases. Sorry for offtopic
  20. Actually you don't earn that much money via YouTube (if you're not doing sponsored videos). For 100k views you get like 20$ from video monetization. I can't speak from Suntrip perspective, but I guess every label who is putting some money, time and effort into releasing music prefers to have it's own music on it's own (official channel) and doing it before the release is out makes sense and it shows labels videos first during the search (YouTube algorythms have different aspects for ranking videos, but time of upload, engagement and views are welcomed and search friendly).
  21. For all of you who missed the Bandcamp release, it is now downloadable on Ektoplazm too. Link right here: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/negans-danse-macabre Happy listening
  22. That doesn't suprise me at all, I mean metal music has been very popular in US since the early days and nowdays most of the metal music (especially the extreme sub-genres) comes from there. Even it has been considered as a commercial band within metal community, Slipknot (for example) hit the #1 spot at Billboard twice selling 240k in first week with AHIG and 130k with TGC albums. Even Cannibal Corpse or Nile are not on the same level (not being known by wider audience), they actually play big venues, touring US and Europe most of the time and have significant fan-base. I'm not into Nightwish that much, but I disagree with the statement they're not commercial. Perhaps they're not that much popular in US like they're in Europe but they sold over 8 million records (for example: Slipknot - 40 mil, Evanescence - 25 mil, HIM - 6 mil, Cannibal Corpse - 2 mil. - *top-selling death metal band of all time).
