    Ott - Mir

C/P from Ott facebook page: I've decided to put the release of 'Mir' back to 15th March because time has run short and I want to make sure I'm 100% happy with it before it goes out. I've never released a record on my own before and I think I underestimated quite how much needs to be done to make it happen properly. Sorry to anyone who is disappointed.
  5. Activator (a new collaboration project from DJ Goblin of Psysex)
  6. Full support to Dimensional Records crew and their releases!
  7. Well that cover artwork for sure isn't my favorite from Cronomi. Freshly Cut Tomatoe was awesome, People Walk Funny was interesting and psychedelic, Artha (EP and album) was nice (speaking from designers view) but too much of purlple and strange head obviously wasn't enough for some people, however I like both covers from Artha. But this one... Im gonna be honest here, it doesn't look professional at all - sliced Kali image added on some spacy/fire background without any smoothing transitions between image of Kali and the background, color balance between red/orange and black colour isn't adjusted well. Speaking of font, it doesnt got any effects, no shading, no gloss, not even any kind of stroke and it looks too empty. Maybe some small gradient based on orange and red towards the black colour would be much nicer. However, this is my opinion and probably many people will disagree here, and many people gonna like it, but for me it looks like its made in Paint.
  8. Well unfortunaly there isn't any english version Few days ago I wrote some text about modern metal music and my favorite bands, so you can check what's all about - http://www.cmar-net.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=58288 Its on Croatian but you can use google translator. And yeah, I uploaded a compilation of my favorite tracks from 15 bands that are in my humble opinion best in the genre. Enjoy
  9. Thanks man a lot Send me on pm what kind of resolution are you using and I'll make a wallpaper with this fractal scheme.

  18. Wow, realy great work Penzoline, balance between black and dark/orange is beautiful. Thanks for sharing
  19. Oh my, thanks guys for nice feedback, it realy means a lot and motivate me to do this stuff. Well for all of my works Im using only Ultra Fractal (i think version 4) and Photoshop Cs3. Basicly process is that i create simple fractal in Ultra Fractal and than whole magic is in Photoshop. No problem, Im glad that you like thoose babies Yeah, but after some time I noticed that i could make that cover even better, add some sharpness and better color balance, maybe I'll rework it a bit in the future. Well I tried to input some elements from real pantheon, but not to make it so obvious Anyhow, few months ago I said that Im available for design so if anyone needs any kind of cover artwork or something, just drop me a mail: iparic70@gmail.com and Ill do it for free. The only problem is my free time, so sometime I can't finish it in only few days or weeks
  20. ^This is awesome. Congrats to Igor and his debut album.
  21. I must agree here with Ynhamsui. Maybe he wanted to input his creativity into other spheres of music, maybe to experience other spheres of sound. However, I would also love to hear more tunes from him in the future, even he isn't my favorite artist.
  22. OMG, I didn't know about this topic until now. Well I've been listening to metal music for a long time, and two or three years ago I founded NBOM - New Breed Of Metal blog (now it's website, can be found here - http://newbreedofmetal.com/) and did a bunch of reviews for it. Speaking of metal subgenres well I'm a big fan of more darker/brutal types so technical death metal, grindcore, blackened death metal, deathcore are probably my favorites but I also love good thrash metal, metalcore, groove, experimental/progressive/mathcore bands. I DON'T like power/heavy/folk/gothic stuff However I also started a grindcore project called TRULA VITRINA but friend and I never finished our first demo. Probably i should speak with him about it and maybe record vocals. Check it out here lol: http://www.myspace.com/trulavitrina So here is my list of favorite bands: All Shall Perish - deathcore Between The Buried And Me - progressive/metalcore Whitechapel - deathcore Nile - technical death metal The Black Dahlia Murder - modern melodic death metal As I Lay Dying - metalcore Soulfly/Cavalera Conspiracy - thrash metal/groove Metallica - thrash metal Pantera - groove/thrash metal Behemoth - black/death metal Dimmu Borgir - symphonic/black metal Woe Of Tyrants - modern melodic death metal Destroy Destroy Destroy - melodic death metal Chimaira - groove metal/metalcore Disfiguring The Godess - brutal death metal Austrian Death Machine - thrashcore/metalcore Job For A Cowboy - death metal Threat Signal - groove/metalcore Slipknot - nu metal/groove Genghis Tron - experimental/progressive Opeth - death metal/progressive From A Second Stroy Window - metalcore/progressive Prostitute Disfigurement - brutal death metal Testament - thrash metal Protest The Hero - progressive math/metalcore Abigail Williams - black metal/metalcore Unearth - metalcore Trigger The Bloodshed - deathcore/death metal Therion - symphonic metal Despised Icon - deathcore Abominale Putridity - grindcore/brutal death metal The Ocean - progressive metal War From A Harlots Mouth - progressive mathcore The Acacia Strain - deathcore/mathcore The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza - mathcore Ion Dissonance - mathcore/deathcore The Number Twelve Looks Like You - experimental/mathcore Five Star Prison Cell - mathcore Suicide Silence - deathcore and many more, thoose are bands that i can think of at the moment
