I hope LR will be ready this month, but we're not making any pressure so when we gonna have all tracks ready and mastered they will show up on our channels for download. Regarding the album, we really don't have any fixed dates yet.

Without any doubt The City Of Moons is one of the most anticipated releases in last few years and for sure it delivered massive and in-your face Goa trance. Unlike the Chromatic World, this one is more raw, got a lot more energy but for me personally it lacks some variety and focus has been shifted towards the more agressive rhythm section and acid-extravaganza a little bit too much. Not saying this in a bad way, but storytelling isn't the best out there and at some parts it might sound samey, and it would be perfect release if there were some noticable breakdowns/pads from time to time. However, I've heard it live and in DJ sets (a bunch of tracks) already and they indeed work on the dancefloor perfectly, it gives much needed energy, but it's hard to compare it with Pleiadians since most of the Pleiadians music doesn't build it self on agressive kick-drums or being overloaded with effects during the whole time, it's being structured. In my humble opinion, and probably due to the nostalgia factor I believe CW was the starting point but in terms of storytelling much more diverse, The Sphere was a step-forward and in the end The City Of Moons is the finalization of MR evolution in sounds. It went towards the more energy-driven and faster Goa trance and probably many people will enjoy in that route more. Anyway, this album shouldn't be missed and it brings a lot of new things for everyone and I hope MR will continue to release music and evolve in his production and music. Congrats to all involved

Veasna - Energy (Neogoa Records, 2016)
Richpa replied to Richpa's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Looks really cute and fitting for the artwork, however it's just one part of the visuals, a chemical element Neon is featured on the backside and inlay of the artwork especially because it's atomic structure is 10 and we got same number of tracks- 41 replies

He is doing smart PR for his music and releases, whenever he got new music ready some-kind of these threads or topics pop up and people are checking his bandcamp/facebook/whatever pages. Each additional click means someone will check music, besides all ISIL/terrorist bullcrap he is into, at the moment. Even tho, funny he didn't mentioned moderate rebels aka. Al Nusra Front or even more moderate - Ashar Al Sham, I guess it will gain more clicks and exposure at FB, IS is so passe Felipe but good job, I hope you will start using hashtags on SubmoonFacebook page soon :*

Thanks Fede. Actually it would be interesting to see how it sounds when all tracks are mixed together with proper transitions, between tracks, since I'm not skilled I hope some DJ will make the mixed version one day -
Why psytrance doesnt attract a bigger audience?
Richpa replied to MrAnarchy's topic in General Psytrance
To be honest I consider some music genres (for example jazz, progressive rock or blues) to have a lot more musicianship than most of electronica, especially psytrance. I don't mean to offend anyone or say they're not musicians, but the experience seeing someone playing live and someone pressing buttons live is quite different, at least in my case. Last week I saw really great jazz performance by Borna Sercar and Elvis Penava, just guitar and drums (and 25 empty bottles), you know it was amazing to see someone creating so vivid melodies and sounds hitting empty bottles. I know it might sound silly but there was more musicianship than you will see on some average psytrance event, well if there isn't any Ozric Tantacles playing One of the reasons why projects / bands such as Juno Reactor, Shulman, Shopongle, Kurbeats got so much respect is the fact they all decided to incorporate the vast number of real instruments being played live at their gigs, it gives totally new perspective on their production and it got bigger value as a live-show. -
What kind of music are you making anyway? Do you have any link where we can check your stuff? Regarding the distribution, if you want to reach many people, first make sure to have good visuals, proper mastering (I suggest Deimos Soundlabs, he is afforable and he will do the work), and of course make sure to have it on Ektoplazm. Even it's CC licence it gives you a lot more in return. You're a owner of your work and you don't need any special permissions from label in case you're planning to re-work certain tracks, however if they're protected by 'all rights reserved' you will need permission to publish it. Bandcamp is great option too, but the exposure is uncomparable with Ektoplazm. Good luck!

Vivid Dream so far has been my personal favorite. Really inspiring work, filled with dreamy sequences, intelligent arrangement, but sounding very eclectic and progressive. Sometime you just need a little bit more laid-back approach.

Karl Sanders is really great musician, love his solo works, as well as music that Nile has been making -
Applause after Andromeda being played live for the first time was really an emotional moment. Yup, it works very nice on the dancefloor.
