For me Globular (in some downtempo/psychedelic chillout) is something like Cybernetika (is for uptempo/drum'n'bass psy), always deliver something interesting and worthy of checking out. Tracklist: 1. Prana - Solar Plexus (Funky Gong Remix) 2. Prana - Solar Plexus (2016 New Kick Edit Mix) For me personally, Matsuri and Prana have been one of the most important strongholds of Goa trance genre since the early days and it actually makes me very happy to see this label/artist being active again in some way. Solar Plexus is the new 2-track digital release by Matsuri Digital and it features 2 revisited versions of 1994 track. First one is a Funky Gong remix (a member of Joujouka) and it sounds delicious, very dancable and it kept that old vibe in really classy way. The tribal elements and percussions are very enjoyable. The second version is basiclly the same, but with some minor difference. All in all, this release brings short but sweet Prana vibe, but in terms of production very much cleaner and sharper. I couldn't agree more, in long terms, considering some simple Facebook plugin for this version of forum might not be a bad idea. I know it could weaken the quality of the content, but nowdays people tend to manage their free time in best possible way and you don't see that much people investing into long reviewing and giving in-depth overview of someone's work. Have a look at some random websites and you'll notice this trend. The poll option and some mini-reviews such as Antic made are actually good idea to maybe revitalize general reviews section and to draw some attention by people who are not posting on this forum, but rather reading it.

The style of JaraLuca is quite simple, it's energetic modern Goa trance with a pinch of acid-driven melodies and really great use of basslines. Similar to his debut, this release is natural continuation of his vision of Goa trance, so there is no big difference in terms of style. The Source, an opening track got really great grooves and the remix for Artifact's 303 'In Your Mind' might do the work if you're not a die-hard Artifact303 fan. In conclusion, this release will probably fit the taste of every person who likes modern Goa trance, but not too-melodic, overlayered, but more depending on the groove itself. Don't expect anything revolutionary because it's not trying to be. Reviews play an important role to the artists, to the labels and in the end to the people who might be interested to take their time (and money) and check/buy certain release. Few years ago, when I had a little bit more time, I tried to make at least 3-4 reviews per year and to describe how I feel while listening to some music that I find interesting. Nowdays, due to the less and less free time, I try to give at least some short overview about some music that already has a review topic here on Psynews. It's true that many people don't go to forums that much due to the fact that Facebook interaction is taking over, but I still think that Psynews as a community and place where people who enjoy reading, discovering and discussing music in general still got a lot to offer. There is always place for improvement, but at least we got some people who are posting new reviews and we should be grateful for that. As I already posted earlier, I'm always willing to give music (even before it's released) to people who are willing to post review, no matter will it be a positive or negative. Honestly I think it's not problem a discussion, the problem here is how to open a new topic. People might be affraid that they won't make a good first post or maybe disobay the rules...Anyway, I hope more reviews will show up and I will try always to give some sort of my own personal input on thoose topics and hopefully in the future I will maybe do few reviews after a long time
