  3. Impossible Astronaut is now available for pre-order. Shipping starts on February 29th >> http://neogoarecords.bandcamp.com/album/impossible-astronaut Nikola Petrović (Imba) has been known to many people as a guy who promoted Goa trance music with his netlabel UAF Records and who gave a huge contribution to Neogoa Records on many compilations and joint project such as Future Architecture. He is also a member of Goa trance groups such as Space Elves, Stellar Force, Stellarians, but lately he has been known simply as Imba, a productive Goa trance producer who made an appereance on many different labels and who did a lot of interesting collaborations with other musicians. Now, the time has finally come for his debut, stand-alone release on Neogoa Records. Impossible Astronaut is a collection of his finest works, but with new refined sound and mix, with a lot more power and energy with interesting acidic melodies typical for his music. The digipak version of Impossible Astronaut brings you over 50 minutes of top notch Goa trance music: 3 new tracks + Dimension 5's Omega Centaurus remix and collaboration track with Phargua. Pre-orders for this limited version will start in few days, so don't wait too much, since it's an unique opportunity to own this music on hardcopy. Free/digital version with only three tracks should pop-up on Ektoplazm sometime in March. All tracks written and produced by Nikola Petrović (Serbia) except: Track 04 (featuring Sander Moyson - Belgium), Track 05 (written and produced by Charlie Clarke, Kerry Palmer, Nick Wenham - United Kingdom), released on 'Dimension 5 - Transdimensional' album in 1997 at Intastella Records (INTA CD01), remixed by Nikola Petrović. Mastering by Igor Čeranić (Croatia) at Deimos Soundlabs with artwork design by Ivan Parić at Neogoa Design. 4. One of the best short documentaries about metal music I've seen in a while. Highly recommended to watch this one, even if you're not into this kind of music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQl6PzXU4cQ Black metal has an illustrious heritage, but its story is often told in the wrong ways. Noisey and Vice are proud to present "One Man Metal", a new three-part documentary with three of the most reclusive figures of the black metal scene, Leviathan, Striborg and Xasthur. They exist on the fringes of black metal and rarely have been documented… until now. In this new documentary, Noisey follows the lives of three enigmatic solo artists — Leviathan, Striborg and Xasthur — producing black metal on the margins of society. These are men who don't just play the music, but embody what it reflects: isolation, misanthropy, and anger. These were exiles struggling to become human, and when they were ready to share their bleak outlook, they turned to Noisey. Presented in sumptuous black and white, the documentary moves from Chicago, to Los Angeles and Tasmania, interviewing these exceptional musicians, most of whom had never shown their face on camera before. The documentary includes the first on-camera interview with Scott Connor, a.k.a. Xasthur, who crafts his bleak sounds from a crumbling apartment in the hinterlands of Los Angeles. Vice also explored the remot environs of rural Tasmania with Sin Nanna of STRIBORG, and finally travelled to San Francisco to speak with Jef Whitehead, a.k.a. Leviathan. Part II, III.

  7. New Neogoa Records website is up and running!

  8. For me Psynews is still number one place to go and check some new album annoucements or reviews. Truth to be told, there hasn't been so much interesting topics in general psytrance sub-forum recently, but it's good to see that this forum still lives and brings at least some new topics and new users who are giving their input. Even Facebook is slowly taking over, I still prefer to keep my presence on forums and Psynews is probably the best place to promote new releases or to discover something good.
  9. Well it's hard to pick only 3 releases, since a lot of Goa trance production back than in mid '90s was more psychedelic indeed, especially in terms of storytelling, production technique(s), fresh ideas and sound sculpturing. My pick isn't related to the favorite albums published, but for sure I consider these three albums to be highly innovative, weird and psychedelic among other releases from that era, at least in my personal definition of what psychedelic trance-dance music is. Pleiadians - Family Of Light Sandman - Witchcraft Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Twin Sharkfins
  10. Thanks for the reminder Mike, I really need to upload that track on YouTube
  11. Thanks guys, it's our pleasure to give the best possible music for free download, that's what we do, that's how we roll. Speaking about Journey Into Sound, later this month you will have an opportunity to hear his take on yet another 'already' classic track. More about that will be posted very soon, but I'm sure you'll like the idea and combination
  12. Nope We spoke about that option but their latest album has been released last year in April so there hasn't been enough of time to work on full-lenght, however, there will be three new LD tracks + remixes of Svarog and Kresnik by some Neogoa Records artists. I will make a full annoucement very soon when we prepare the samples
  13. Keep them coming, both his tracks from previous compilation were really great so I'm looking forward to this one, not only because of Artha, but because in last two years Poland gave some new and creative artists who are making great Goa trance
  14. OUT NOW! The digipak (limited) version comes with bonus tracks and items, including 4 custom made wallpapers illustrated by Arkadiy Tronets (Svarog, Morana, Triglav and Cosmic Law) and download code for new Neogoa compilation Svemirski Hod. 17. It took 700 days to restore my page (as I said it was banned for some unknown reason without any notice or explanation). Many people sent their request to restore the page (many of Psynews members too, so thank you all for doing that). Even we had to rebuild our new official page and get the audience and start with promotion from zero, it seems that today, two years after...the old page is online again. Since I don't want to keep the old one (due to the inactive factor, low organic reach, outdated posts and stuff like that), I will probably merge it with the new one. However, just wanted to inform you that the old page is restored. Well, weird, right?
  18. Since his new album should pop-up anytime soon, we're introducing Lectro Spektral Daze at our website! http://www.neogoa.net/lectro-spektral-daze/
  19. Balkan Goa hurricane is getting closer http://www.neogoa.net/balkan-goa-hurricane/

  21. It's hard to pick, but I would say Infected Mushroom. I know they're far far away from being psychedelic nowdays, but during the whole time they had the unique sound from the early psytrance days towards the dubstep. The quality of production is in their own league. Even they don't have anything in common with darkpsy or something, I really think that during the first two albums, especially on Classical Mushroom they created that horror/gothic atmosphere and it was unique to me back than, and even nowdays I can't find artists who are capable of doing such weird combinations. Pleiadians and Etnica are also one of the few who had the unique sound and vibe in their tracks, even nowdays we got some artists who are inspired by them and closely following their succesful formula, but Pleiadians are the undisputed Goa trance champions in my book. You know, when you hear Pleiadians, you know it's goddamn Pleiadians, it's simple. So yeah, Infected Mushroom and Pleiadians/Etnica (even they can't be matched in terms of commercial success, but I judge music here only).

  23. You gotta love crazy Ormion ideas, and Photoshop. One of the reasons why Psynews still is funny and cheerful.
