My post above was slightly offtopic, so I'll try to answer your questions here: - How many updates? Every day 1, every week 1,...? Posting more than once per day is useless unless you pay for extra reach and promotion (don't do it, it's better to have proper content than gain some 'fans' with promotional posts'). Facebook in last year or so is limiting reach so my answer would be: 1 post/day. Ofc, don't post YouTube tracks every day and all will be fine. Serious updates, previews and news is the content that i personally like to read the most. - What to post? Pics, tracks, info of artists, promos, party info,...? People usually like to check something that has not been published already, so my pick would be exclusive track previews, exclusive artwork previews. Infos about artists can be easily found on your (Suntrip) website or on discogs or on last.fm or on artist facebook page. Party annoucements are also great idea but remember, not all of your followers will attend some party in let's say... Netherlands. Better option is to create a special photo album and to add only flyers for parties there. - do you really read those fb groups? Yes. I read fb groups (and pages), only 20 pages are atm on my fb feed and only important and interesting stuff, others are listed into special lists created by genre/style/type that i'm checking usually once per week. FB groups are also cool but unfortunaley many people are abusing and flooding them with youtube tracks, i mean ok, you like some track released long time ago, but why you have to post it in the group where people actually want to hear something new, fresh, or just to be informed with latest news from label/artist/dj. I tend to use thoose groups to post promotional material (usually soundcloud links) for Neogoa/Graviton.

At Neogoa facebook page (not group) I tried to create a community where followers will be involved in any way possible and not just that, to receive as fresh as possible news and updates in anything related to Goa trance music, so we got these things: - Question of the week - usually questions about psychedelic trance music and culture where people can post and share their opinions - Exclusive track previews and updates for each release - Free download slots from Graviton and pre-downloads for regular Neogoa releases - Interviews with other labels and artists - Daily Goa trance news, new tracks, releases annoucements - Contests where people can be involved somehow in releases (for example DG3 description) - Exclusive news from other labels who are part of Neogoa Facebook page and our promotional platform offered to other record labels including: Suntrip Records, Sita Records, Cronomi Records, Timewarp Records, Anjuna Records, Zion604 Records, Dimensional Records, Underground Alien Factory Records, Goa Madness Records, Graviton/Neogoa. - Polls and various topic disscussions, usually started by me because it's important (at least to me) to have 120% honest and open contact with people who actually care about your work. Neogoa Facebook page is unique and unlike other facebook groups it does support other artists and labels and that is something that we're trying from the day 1 to push - a community and that is reason why over 1800 people are following that page. Also, there is a special 'secret' *illuminati* Neogoa group on facebook with 50 members, but that one is dedicated to artists, DJs, reviewers and people who are doing serious stuff in promotion of goa trance music. I've got ideas for 2014 and how to get people more involved into my/our work and it will be groundbreaking i think, not only that people/followers will read, disscus or enjoy the music, they gonna be an important part of the netlabel and releases directly. Ain't gonna speak more about it, but overall i think it will be fun doing it. Anyway, here is NG facebook page in case you're not follower yet: https://www.facebook.com/Neogoa

Goa Trance artists who do not take drugs.
Richpa replied to ollylovesgoa's topic in General Psytrance
I think that we're all different and each person got his own way how to express his creativity, imagination and ideas, especially in music. Somebody will probably be more imaginative and creative while doing drugs, but that doesn't mean that someone else isn't creative enough if he uses his own imagination which isn't supported with psychedelics. So I agree with Michael and his conclusion: -
*Radi mode on* Indeet! We should disscuss more Portamento and his impressive tracks. *Radi mode off*

Goa Trance artists who do not take drugs.

A matter of taste and experience (or perception) of the music, there is a shitload of progressive metal albums that I find psychedelic (and had some psychedelic trips while listening to it), even more than some goa or psytrance stuff, but I never considered any of them to be actually psychedelic by some standard musical definition. Same thing with DSOTM (which is btw great PF album, but it's far from the real psychedelic rock that has been presented through their early works on UG or ASOS or TPATGOD. Ontopic: Drugs meets Goa trance = F.S. -
Actually that's not a bad idea, something similar (shoutbox) we got at our croatian psytrance forum (bottom part): http://forum.trancepleme.com/index.php

Ummm TDSOTM actually isn't psychedelic (rock), more into space/progressive rock, unlike their early works during the Syd's involvement. -

Go outside, dig a hole and take a shit there, mother Earth will be greatful.
-
Do something creative, take a camera and go outside and shot some pictures, or take a gym class, or better, go outside and run and don't think about anything, just run and focus on that route, or maybe try to write a blog, let out all the feelings and emotions through words, you probably will feel better - even this topic is a nice start. I can't give you advice because i never was in situation like yours, but i think that fighting and being strong is better solution than just give up. Afterall, we all got real-life problems and situations, i'm sure that there are people who are confronted with much worse situations than yours and probably they're fighting Goodluck and I hope you'll feel better and stronger!

AFAIK, Goa Madness is the name of party series held and organized by a guys who are behind this label. Anyway, it's cool to see another goa trance label and i like couple of tracks featured, especially Merr0w, Agneton and Asmik. Goodluck to all invloved tho!

I was worried it will suck, but i turned out to be one of my favorite sci-fi movies this year, my hopes are high for Episode VII (Star Wars) aswell, because JJ prooved himself as a good director who knows how to resurrect franchise in a good way.
-
There is a huge buzz about Gravity, James Cameron told that it's best space movie ever made and mr. Cameron is a dude who knows something about proper sci-fi. Anyway I just saw World War Z even it's not hardcore sci-fi it got some elements and it's a cool movie, nothing special.

After first compilation, released two years ago, it was hard job to create again diverse but yet quality-filled release and I wasn't that much optimistic, but after hearing first package of samples I was sure that we're heading into right direction. Darko/Anub1s one more time succed to collect some interesting downtempo material influenced by various electronica genres and to publish it on Neogoa, probably the right place for this stuff, especially because we're open to present and to release even something that doesn't fit at standard definitions of psychedelic downtempo music. I would like to send kudos to Darko and to all artists who did fantastic job on Turlitava 2 and with this compilation we managed to keep the pace of quality releases on Neogoa, I'm pretty much sure that in a year or two we will have a oportunity to enjoy in 3rd part, but for now let's enjoy in this one. If I had to pick one track as a favorite, at this moment it would be track number 4 - 'Arising And Passing Away', but others are very nice aswell. I forgot to add, it's a first release artwork on Neogoa designed by other author, my friend and co-worker at Neogoa Design - iPsy. Thanks to Mike for his review and for other inputs here.
