I was into darkpsy especially when Deja Vu vas active, and after the death of Zolod I've lost interest in darkpsy music in general, but sometimes I like to play some older darkpsy releases.

Good thing about nowdays Goa trance scene is that people can choose, there is enough of music that can be decribed as oldschool-influenced, even there are labels who dedicated their work to bring back some old sounds to the people, for example DAT, Zion604, Anjuna. On the other hand there are labels who are offering modern sounding goa trance music, so basiclly there is something for everybody, all you need to do is to do small research and dig a bit. If we decribe evolution as a change than we can say that psychedelic trance music has evolved and we got plenty od diversity (regarding the goa trance). Just take a look at the period between 2001. - 2004. and you will see how bigger and stronger goa trance music is now. I'm not gonna speak about other genres such as darkpsy or progressive because i'm not that much into it, but i'm sure that there is diversity in other types of psychedelic music.

New Entheogenic album! "Antropomorphic"
Richpa replied to frozen dream's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
I'm amazed how Entheogenic manages to keep the pace in releasing quality downtempo and psychedelic chillout music over the years. This album/EP is perfect example of fresh, interesting and diverse psychill. Soma (Veda Remix) is indeed outstanding track and yeah, reviewers should pay attention to this release- 6 replies

I only got two albums: Asylon (2011) and The Thin Line Between (2008) and both are great, especially if you like progressive and technical death metal.

A vision propelled by thoughts Fused by an ideal that defies reality A constant fight to remain above To leave this mark Those scars to reshape history Crystal perfect world Symbol of power shattered in a second Hidden abomination come to light As a deviation occurs... This palace built to fulfill and retain their supremacy A fortress engineered to reign But unable to resist temptation Behold the great collapse Ultimate chaos unleashed The beauty of a paradise stained Almighty prophet engages catastrophe Blinded by time, praised by numbers The empire is a techno-logical mockery Crystal perfect world Symbol of purity forever black Poisoned by his own true nature As a deviation occurs... Rising from the dark Absurd violent dreams Emerging deviously Like a psychic renaissance Naive through storm Compelled to destroy innocence Blinded by time, praised by numbers The entire empire is a mockery Broken silence, socially awakened The essence of truth through global discovery Individual with perfect balance Suddenly infected

Fallujah is an American technical death metal band from San Francisco, They have been around since 2007 and are in the process of reinventing themselves, They have had a series of lineup changes but are in a fully stable and functioning state and have been touring the US since 2009. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnUOnAFZyCQ Into eternity reborn, are those sacrificed to the gods. Rid of the flesh god as delivered unto It's vulagarities conjure on the 5 points of summoning In the relics of the past is it's banner upheld A demon from which the slave is bound to Thirst quenched the demon sleeps Cultivate my soul in it's dreams And shall the demon feed Cultivate immortality Souls, plead for sacrifice to their lords, And from the darkness where the Ancients spawned Out of the darkness Were the ancients spawned Thirst, quenched the demon sleeps Cultivate my soul in it's dreams And shall the demon feed Cultivate immortality

Psycroptic are an Australian technical death metal band formed in Hobart in 1999. Mainstay members are Dave Haley on drums, his brother Joe Haley on guitar, and Cameron Grant on bass guitar. Their lead vocalist, Jason Peppiatt, joined in 2004. In 2008 they signed to Nuclear Blast. As of February 2012, the band have released five studio albums. They have undertaken Australian national tours supporting international acts, Incantation, Decapitated, Origin and Misery Index. Psycroptic have also toured Europe with Nile and with Deicide. In this world there's an unknown forest deep within parts not explored - yet. A corner of earth that's a mystery, though only to our human race. A residence, of an ancient clan that have lived here for generations, and have survived - by remaining in this place of seclusive presidence. A forest - an extensive population Of lizards - various breeds Most un-named, some with almost human features Most half breeds. Some you'll find can even fly, their species is growing larger All are born, within the trees, and their skin is rough like Scaled.......Bark..... They are born with just a mother, from a spawn taken from the tree It is secreted on her skin, within days a child is within. Only six weeks and the child is born - a male but no genitals There are no need for these as all are fathered by the trees. This is a race on a steady decrease, an unknown foe called 'humans' Deadly pollution, drifting across, ocean to their land Causing - drought, killing the trees Taking their life source, causing distress, elders call council Much discussion, form strategy Then after much careful planning, decides To send a troop of flying lizards, a-broad Their mission is to discover What it is that is destroying Their fragile eco-system And to try make things right. We are a race from an ancient source that have lived here for generations And have destroyed- a multitude of things in our time of residence, we must now face our destruction by a division of lacertilians, Their bodies are more resistant to our weapons (than) anything we can create. We are now doomed to extinction And, we surely deserve it. Deluded arrogance, Mistreatment, of our worl Will lead to certain death, Please forgive - our human race. The Scepter of The Ancients album is so so awesome!

The best downtempo track by Astral Projection
Richpa replied to radi6404's topic in General Psytrance
I just got warning via PM by guardian and protector of Astral Projection topics on Psynews, even it's written on Croatian via Google translator (still don't know reason why we don't use english here, but here is translation): You already posted the same in 'The Best Astral Projection Downtempo Track' (topic?) idiot. Couple of days ago without any reason he called me an imbecile, now i'm idiot, obviously he got priviledge to insult people on daily basis without and not getting any warning or limit. But it's OK, I know he meant to point me out that I shouldn't start many Astral Projection topics, so maybe that's reason why he tried to mark that as important, on Croatian
