I agree with this. Indeed, situation is much better than it was couple of years ago, even in that time people released and make Goa trance music, but there were only couple of releases per year. Some people might say, it was better - less music but more quality, but I would disagree, today we got decent number of record labels and netlabels who are releasing Goa trance, some are focused only on oldschool Goa trance, for example DAT Records or Zion604, some release more newschool stuff, Suntrip, mostly with more melodic/morning goa trance music, russian Global Sect also, but with more darker influences (last Psy-H project is a good example), Cronomi with great blend of experimental, acidic breed of goa trance, with oldschool influences, Sita and Ezel-Ebed with highly melodic nitzho sub-genre, etc. There are 10-15 record labels who are doing great stuff for this kind of music and good thing about goa trance music nowdays that complete scene is very well conected, people are exchanging informations, suggestions, giving feedbacks and that is something that isn't a common thing in many other psychedelic trance sub-genres. I agree that nowdays goa trance music lacks some diversity. Most of the stuff indeed is pretty much melodic, shiny and it would be great if we see in the future more bold approach, to gain more diversity and experimentalism, but i'm gonna be optimistic and i'm sure during the next 2-3 years we will see more and more music in that direction aswell. As Joske mentioned before, another good example of this 'revival' is a fact that each year goa trance musicians and artists gets more and more festival-slots and that is a best promotion of this music.

A couple of years ago i had tendency to buy CD's but now it's all digital in my case, even in last couple of months I don't have habbit to check that much electronic music, like i did before, but most of the stuff that I got comes from Ektoplazm or from Bandcamp, Soundcloud, if something is really great and i want to support artist, than i'm buying digitals if that option is possible, even in my case, being without fulltime job isn't something that gives me that much room to buy everything that i like, so i'm really picky. Speaking about downloading from P2P networks and websites who are ripping CD's, I don't download that much to be honest, especially in last 6-8 months, maybe one-two release per month and that release must be something that i really want to listen while i'm studying or doing something on my PC.

Long time no updates here, so I'll post couple of interesting data. First of all, this post should go in Psynews.org sub forum and if it's possible to have it as a sticky. So here are some statistics so far: Total fans: 409 Total friends of fans: 164 866 Weekly reach: 90 (this is horrible statistic, it should be at least 700-800 if we got over 400 people who are fans of this page, for example another page of mine got 1600 likes and weekly reach ~ 4000 people) Top countries: USA India Israel France United Kingdom Belgium Croatia Sweden Denmark Brazil Gender and age: TOTAL: Female (12,1%) Male (86,2%) 13-17 0,2% (F) - 1,7% (M) 18-24 5,2% (F) - 28,4% (M) 25-34 3,7% (F) - 40,5% (M) 35-44 1,5% (F) - 11,9% (M) 45-54 1,5% (F) - 2% (M) 55-64 - - - 65+ 1,7% (M) So basicly, for a better reach there should be at least more posts and to share posts with linked pages, that will help a lot to reach more people and eventualy new followers.
